Very disappointed with the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism from this…read morefacility. Both of my children were referred, authorized, evaluated, and started the intake process together, yet weeks later we are suddenly being told they must now be scheduled on separate days and different times despite me making my expectations very clear from the beginning. I specifically explained upfront that if these accommodations could not be met, we would seek services elsewhere instead of wasting valuable time waiting through this process. Instead of listening, the office continued the process only to later tell us they could not accommodate what was already discussed. Melva contacted me multiple times only to repeatedly say there was "nothing she can do," which is unacceptable considering this issue was created by the facility's own lack of communication and scheduling consistency. She also refused to provide management or owner contact information when requested, making it even more frustrating to try and resolve the issue professionally. To make matters worse, Zoom appointments were suggested for my son despite being informed he cannot effectively participate in long virtual sessions due to focus and attention difficulties. Families seeking services deserve clear communication, honesty, and respect from the beginning -- especially when dealing with children and lengthy referral/authorization wait times. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

This company is by far the worst I have ever worked with regarding physical therapy. It started…read morewith the first visit and the fact that according to them they are not allowed by the building owner to put a sign in or on the building. The next problem was with scheduling, a host of unconfirmed dates and periods of no contact at all, just left out to dry. Next up is billing. In one instance i reciewed 3 (three) emails the same day for a past due and I would attempt to pay it online and the site would not accept the payment. I call a billing phone number and am told we don't handle that office, you need to call that location instead and I call and am told the online billing site is experiencing some problems but, let me check with billing and she comes back and says you have a zero balance. Lastly and the final straw for me is I get a bill in the mail for a "follow up" visit the same day I get a text to schedule the follow up visit. I again attempt to pay the amount online and it again does not accept my payment. I just got off the phone with them about scheduling the "follow up" appointment and explain the bill in the mail and text to schedule and am told again online billing is having problems (the last time I was told this was 6 weeks ago) so again she checks my account and she tells me I have a zero balance. Don't waste your time with this company, save yourself the frustration!

But they could never keep an OT aide at there West Covina office for very long. I think in the 2 years we were there he went through 3 OT aides. But there was always a billing issue with my insurance. And it always created a bigger issue. They would always charge me for the most recent session before the EOB was even cleared. At one point I had to keep track of my deductible and what they were charging. And in the end they had to reimburse me about 120 dollars for over charges. Then I noticed that I was getting EOB under my name for the services and not my son's name. And since I owed to much money they decided to put my sons services on hold. After that we did not go back to the clinic it was super frustrating.

Updating my review and changed the rating since I got a response from one of the intake staff…read more Thank you for accepting accountability and being receptive to feedback. Original review. I see I'm not the only one who's struggling to get a response back from this clinic. I'm trying to help a family member receive ST services as recommended by her care team. There aren't many in the ST clinics in the area that services adults, and seems like DV would be a good fit, right? No. They never got back to me after I left a voicemail, filled out a new client inquiry, and emailed them on their website portal. I've even left a 1 star review on google to see if they would respond. Nothing. Still no response after several months. The lack of communication makes it difficult for caregivers to seek services for their loved ones who really need specific therapies to improve their QoL. This is ridiculous and a huge disservice for potential clients seeking help.

She asked what happened and he said he hates the way he talks. When my wife asked the babysitter what happened, she said she couldn't understand him and she tried to correct him and he broke down. We don't know exactly what happened, but my little guy didn't want to talk at school anymore. We spoke to his doctor and the school and both recommended speech therapy. The school couldn't accommodate us so we went through Kaiser and we got approval here at DG. It's been 3 weeks now and my son is doing great! He speaks more clearly and, most importantly, he feels better about himself and he speaks up at school and even gave the welcome address at our church! The therapist he works with, Joanna, is super patient and kind and my son just loves her. He looks forward to his weekly therapy and is excited with his progress. They're located on the second floor of a plain looking building. There's lots of parking but the access is only on the north side of the street, so if you're going south, you'll have to find a place to make a U-turn. Getting out of here sucks, too, because you can only turn right, and there's no U-turn allowed at the light, so it's turn on a side street and get back on to Sunset. It's a medical building, so you still have to wear a mask, so be on notice. However, physical location aside, this place is really great. I've seen some special needs kids in here and they always leave with a smile. You can tell the staff here really enjoy their work and seeing the progress of the kids.
