We saw 3 or 4 speech therapist before her and suddenly he's 95% on board with participating while practicing new skill and he was 0% participating with the other ones. So grateful we got paired with her, she pushes him the perfect amount for him and that changes by the moment constantly reading him and seeing what he's up to in each moment while not letting him avoid practice all together. We were first time parents during COVID and did not have a village to support us in taking care of our newborn. Fiona referred me to a lactation nurse that was so supportive and provided detailed guidance on breastfeeding. Fiona worked on my son's torticollis and feeding issues in the beginning. As he got older, her therapists worked on his fine and gross motor skills. My son loved playing with Fiona and all the WeeFun therapists and graduated from the Regional Center last month when he turned 3. My son is a very happy, energetic, smart, animated, thriving toddler and we attribute his growth to WeeFun and the love, compassion, patience and care that they gave him. They took the time in making sure I was doing the exercises properly and they had me do a variety of exercises at each session so it was never boring and a little challenging each time. I felt my wrist getting stronger and stronger each week. I was amazed at the assessment of my wrist at the first visit to the assessment of my wrist at the last session. I could definitely see and feel the progress. The facility is very clean and the girls at the front desk are very kind and helpful. Also it's at a great location. Such a great experience. My son was attending speech and OT for a little over 2 years at their West Covina office. The…read moretherapist were great no issues. They helped my son especially in speech. But they could never keep an OT aide at there West Covina office for very long. I think in the 2 years we were there he went through 3 OT aides. But there was always a billing issue with my insurance. And it always created a bigger issue. They would always charge me for the most recent session before the EOB was even cleared. At one point I had to keep track of my deductible and what they were charging. And in the end they had to reimburse me about 120 dollars for over charges. Then I noticed that I was getting EOB under my name for the services and not my son's name. And since I owed to much money they decided to put my sons services on hold. After that we did not go back to the clinic it was super frustrating.

I see I'm not the only one who's struggling to get a response back from this clinic. I'm trying to help a family member receive ST services as recommended by her care team. There aren't many in the ST clinics in the area that services adults, and seems like DV would be a good fit, right? No. They never got back to me after I left a voicemail, filled out a new client inquiry, and emailed them on their website portal. I've even left a 1 star review on google to see if they would respond. Nothing. Still no response after several months. The lack of communication makes it difficult for caregivers to seek services for their loved ones who really need specific therapies to improve their QoL. This is ridiculous and a huge disservice for potential clients seeking help.
