This was my first time visiting Conversa Elevated and I think I might need to attend on a different day/time. I think I hyped it up a little too much in my mind, from what I've seen online. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice venue to get cute and go have drinks and a bite to eat, but I imagined it giving more than what it did. The bartenders knew their stuff. Cocktails were tasty. The food? I could have done without. Everything looked good, but there just wasn't enough flavor for me. I'm willing to give this place another try though, because I feel like it was just an off day. We came here on a Saturday about a week after they opened. It's located in a large, new building that has a lot of openings for more businesses. There is a large parking lot behind the building. We went to the first floor, but there is a second floor that has a dress code and requires reservations. We came right when they opened for the day, so it was pretty quiet. It is mainly a cocktail bar, but they also have a small food menu. We got the deviled eggs, pork ribs, and sliders. Things came out as they were ready and each dish had three pieces. This is a nice place to go prior to a late night dinner or after a night out. The establishment is beautiful and classy. It definitely gives a "grown and sexy" vibe It is important to note that there is a dress code. I highly recommend the pork ribs. The meat was so tender that it fell off the bone. The staff was extremely professional and pleasant. The only thing we noticed was the menu leans heavily on citrus flavors which after a while seemed a bit much. read more

I was excited to visit Conversa for a mid week happy hour with the girls. Upon entering the staff offered a welcoming greeting and showed us upstairs. The space was immaculately clean and upholstered furniture was elegantly stylish but overall the decor was stark and industrial. The highlights of the visit were the very attentive and friendly hostess and server, and the cocktails were delish. We were also offered a complimentary champagne toast which was a nice touch. However I was very hungry at the end of a long day and was soooo disappointed in the shrimp yakitori. The shrimp were mushy and room temperature. I tried it but couldn't eat it. And although it was removed from the bill no alternative was offered. There was another complimentary appetizer offered (see photo) which I also didn't care for. My friend ordered the sliders which she enjoyed and I had food envy. I wish they had some noshing type of snacks or charcuterie would be nice. I was also expecting a more intimate vibe, perhaps closing the curtains or having some twinkling lights on the patio. The music was a mix of 1970-1990s pop songs which while nostalgic didn't seem appropriate for the vibe. My personal preference for this type of bar would be the Moons Daughter or One Watson but if you're looking for a far North location it's worth a try. read more

I was almost hesitant to provide a review because this lovely place is so close to where I live. However, I do want them to thrive! The staff was welcoming, and it was a well-designed environment with plentiful dedicated parking. The cocktail menu is divine, and I look forward to exploring more of that menu. Also, the bites are high quality and beautifully presented. My only recommendation is that although everything we tried was delicious, I encourage them to consider varying the taste profiles a little since many items were citrus-forward. read more

I stumbled upon this spot and it's exactly what I've been looking for in the area - a legit high-end vibe. I've found my new go-to place. The service is great, and the bartenders whip up some seriously delicious craft cocktails! If you're after excellent cocktails, mouthwatering food, and a vibe that's elevated yet unpretentious, this is your spot. Beautiful establishment. I can appreciate their dress code requirement for up and downstairs. The service was pretty good too, everyone was kind and friendly. Drinks were really good! However, I took two stars away for the food because it wasn't anything special. The options are decent and I think everyone can find something they'll like, however, the flavors weren't robust enough for our palate to order anything again, however, I would definitely return for the drinks. read more

I came with a group of 9 on a Saturday night. The staff and hostess were all so stylish and well put together. We had a table downstairs and ordered nearly every item off the tasting menu to share. The cocktail menu was fun, and the small plate menu featured a great variety of foods and many with fun and different dipping sauces. The service was perfect for our needs. The wine program unfortunately was not yet set up so I think there were only 3 wine options which was a little disappointing but probably just another reason to go back. read more

Just no. Overpriced, location is like an abandoned warehouse or business park, and it's sad to say but they just won't make it and they shouldn't. Just not a good setup, staff was really nice and prompt. Food was okay but when you don't know enough to cut the blood line out of fish, what are you doing?!?!? Want a drink? Go in, check it out, and leave. And that's a 50/50 shot, but that's where it ends. Go to Silo down the road and get first class food and first class drinks for the same price. I imagine the owners or management will respond to this with a pleasant and mildly snarky response. Something like "Sorry this place wasn't for you and we would love to try to make you happy on your next visit, please reach out to phone/email so we can make this right." Upscale, trendy, classy, and somehow not-pretentious. Super-inviting, and even spent some time with the owners, who are all exceptional. Conversa Elevated is a fantastic spot. Two levels lets you pick your experience. Top floor with reservation only for more intimate and bottom floor more relaxed. The entire bar is gorgeous and upscale and the staff have the best energy. They are quick and attentive. We ate upstairs and you can get the same food downstairs as well. We shared deviled eggs, the sliders, and steak. Every single bite was delicious. I had a Pimm's Cup that was perfect and highly recommend the Deja Brew as a sweet dessert cocktail. 10/10 can't wait to go back! Comfortable seating options downstairs to socialize. read more

First off, Ryan makes the BEST drinks. We came here for the first time a few months ago and since then we've been back here pretty regularly as this is now my favorite bar. I've never ordered anything from the menu but have let Ryan make each one of my drinks and they've all been spectacular and each one is different from the last. The ambiance is relaxed and you can actually hear each other talk which is lovely. Angelique is very attentive and very friendly but also knows how to give you space so your experience still feels personal. I went to Conversa Elevated for dinner and drinks and was impressed by the food, cocktails and service. I had the Conversa Flip, which tastes a bit like a gin fizz (which I love) and a whiskey drink made with some kind of citrus juice, and quite refreshing. We started our meal with a complementary Amuse Bouche, which was beautifully presented. I'm not sure what was in it, but it was topped with caviar and was quite delicious. Then we had deviled eggs, samosas, ribs, and sliders. The portions were generous, and we left quite full. Again, each plate was beautifully presented and garnished. I don't smoke cigars, but they look to have quite a selection of cigars and a nice patio area on the second floor (with seating) where you can smoke. The service was attentive and friendly, and everyone seemed well educated on all the dishes on the menu. The ambience is upscale but relaxed. Definitely a winner!! read more
