**SCAMMERS*Do not trust , I had been towed due to a reg. Issue so police towed.Continental purposely held my vehicle and had my triple A Tow truck canceled after I spent the entire Day borrowing the $ to have my vehicle released so my tow truck could tow my vehicle and me back to my garage . This is also because To leave it would add $30 a day to my bill. I was completely shocked at the blatant fraudulent behavior and intentional actions they took to be sure my vehicle remained in their possession. . They claim to also close at 5pm and the hours listed here say 7 pm. They also after getting my tow truck to leave without my vehicle and me, that they could do it right then (5:40pm)!! For an extra $275!!! The complete disrespect and disregard for my financial situation,my property and my well being was totally unacceptable . I had the money for the bill , I was there at 2 pm and again at 4 pm to pay and they rather operate fraudulently for as much $ they can. After I walked in 100 degrees humidity without any help whatsoever .to return the following day to hope they would apologize and do everything they could to right their wrong I was told to leave and I owe even more for the evening that it sat due to their own deliberate practices .. Unreal and unlawful, I am now again sitting in awe at this and still have not been able to recover my car. I'm calling this in to the DMV compliance unit for towing co. If I could post a 0 rating, I would. Continental Garage was sent by AAA to jumpstart a car battery and drove in with a huge oversized truck. The driver backed up not only once but multiple times, leaving huge deep ruts in the yard. The driver made no attempt to inform the homeowner of the damages. The company denied responsibility for any of this despite two witnesses and photos. Total lack of decency and integrity. read more

I recently bought a used truck from these folks. It was advertised as having "no issues" and "no check engine light". The dealer said he would register the car for me, he didn't, i had to do it. 4 days after my purchase, the check engine light came on. when i asked the owner of the dealership to fix it, he declined and said "good luck with the truck". funny thing is that i had the "check engine" light reset and guess what 4 days later it came back on again. I promised this business that I would share my experience a with 100 people, so here goes: My car broke down at 1:10pm. I called my insurance company for roadside assistance at 2:20 and was given an estimated pickup time of 3:35. Received a call from a New Haven number at 3:32 saying that the car was being picked up. Great right? At 5:09 I called Continental Garage twice and got a busy signal so I call aforementioned New Haven number back and was assured the car was on it's way. 7:00pm still no car. No answer from either number. 9:30 I receive a call from my mom telling me the car still hadn't arrived. 9:34 leave a message for New Haven number. Call insurance company and disbatcher for Emergency Roadside assures me that she spoke to Continental Garage and the car is en route. I drive to location of breakdown(car is not there) and back (30 miles round trip) expecting the car to be at it's destination. Not! 10:34 Call Continental Garage and speak to a very rude man who tells me basically that he doesn't have time to deal with me and the car is on it's way like he told the disbatcher 1/2hour ago (it was an hour). 11:07 Call the insurance roadside assistance back. They call this "gentleman" and he tells them the car is in Waterbury and will be to the location in 20-30 minutes. I'm sorry, but where in any part of Waterbury does it take 30 minutes to get from to the center of the city? Nowhere. 12:06 Call Continental Garbage 3x and no answer. 12:11 Car arrives and driver tells me that the car was on the highway until 6:35. There were priority situations before mine and this was the first they could get it to me. If Continental Garbage told me this at any point in this 8 hour ordeal, I would have been fine with all of that. The lack of communication, lies, and hostility were unnecessary and unprofessional. So like I promised, I am telling 100 people about their service (and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau). read more

i went there to pick up vehicle and I have never seen such an operation the man who I believe owns it is Ralph and he is the most rude, unprofessional, man i have ever met in his type of position, and his staff on the property seem to be real nice people but they have to put up with this Clown daily and i really feel for them. not only was he completely useless in helping me but i observed him leave as soon as there was a problem with and older woman and had his young secretary have to take care of her and the poor girl was trying so hard but she said she was just following Ralphs orders and like i said he left so she would have to do his dirty work. this man who until yesterday i have never heard of or met and he was just unbelievable i was there to pick up a vehicle and he was no help from minute 1. it was buried in snow and would not start i brought a booster pack bust it need a little more power so i asked him for a pair of jumper cables and he told me give him some time and he will try to find me a set. 10 feet away i see the cables so i ask if i could use them the whole time he was playing with his phone and not even looking at me i still couldn't get it started he refused to give me any help once i got it started and dug it out the best i could i still couldn't get it out i asked him for help he said do you need a shovel then walked away will a half hour later i got it out and he was no where to be found i went in the office for the forth time and thats when i saw the old lady having a hard time and the coward and rude Ralph was gone i got my paper wrk and left the lord works in mysterious ways and I hope Ralph gets what he deserves worst customer service by him possible he walks around like he is something special when in fact a street bum has more class and integrity. read more
