I've been to Constantly Custom for a piercing and a tattoo and I've had very good experiences both times. Everyone is kind and the shop feels really clean. Getting an appointment was simple, just fill out a form online and the staff will contact you regarding what exactly you want and when you're available. They do have walk-ins, but this can be hard if you're looking for a certain artist or if you're in a time crunch. Your best bet is to call and inquire first before walking in! Leading up to my nostril piercing, I was very anxious. Katey made the process really easy by showing me the different sizes of the piercings and making sure I like the placement of the marker. She also explained the process well. The actual piercing itself was super quick and felt like a pinch. I like that she gave me a paper with aftercare instructions, a card that has the date and size of my piercing, and her Instagram so that if I had any questions, I could reach out to her. The tattoo process with Eva was easy too. My sister and I wanted matching tattoos, so Eva made it easy for us to coordinate so that we'd be able to watch each other get tattooed. She was able to quickly adjust her draft, when my sister suggested a small change to the design. In our original design, the moon was fully filled in, but Eva suggested the peppered shading, which I love! The lines are crisp and straight, and the overall design is clean! I would love to come back either for another piercing or another tattoo. In the meantime, I'll be gathering inspiration for my next one! read more

Came here to get an old eyebrow piercing that had healed re-pierced and my Medusa piercing changed out. I live 30 min away but after my experience today I feel confident that the commute is 100% worth it for future piercings. My piercer was Katey and she was awesome; she told me she could definitely just re-pierce the old piercing exactly as it was but also offered to straighten it out since it was originally pierced on a slant. She helped me make an informed decision by adding that eyebrow piercings tend to scar, so if I got a new placement the old one might still be visible. I chose to just re-pierce the old one and she was happy to comply. It came out perfect, exactly as it was before. Switching out my medusa was quick and painless; she showed me several different options for what I could get and gave me tips on how to keep the stud secure over time since the ones that I'd previously put in myself kept falling off. To top it all off, when she rang me up she wrote down the lengths, sizes, and types of all the facial jewelry we'd put on me, so now I can buy new pieces without having to worry about them not looking right or fitting correctly. Please read. I'm really sad about my experience here at Constantly Custom. I got my snug pierced months ago, and as someone who has 7 other piercings (some in areas that have trouble healing) I have never had any issues healing and take good care of my piercings. During my experience Katey struggled with my ear and had a hard time putting the ball on my earring which hurt and I'm sure irritated an already tragic piercing that would end up looking like this. I didn't have the best experience, but I let it go because she was friendly. A few days ago I asked my normal piercer about suggestions on how to help it heal. My piercer told me I did not have the right anatomy for a snug piercing, which is funny considering I went in for a daith and was convinced last minute to get the snug piercing, to which I nervously agreed and assumed would be okay. My piercer also asked me if I had changed the earring, explaining that the earring I was pierced with (pictured, unchanged) shouldn't have been put in my ear for at least a YEAR after my piercing. She told me she didn't see a future for the piercing and that the longer I waited the worse the scarring would be, and that I could even potentially get CAULIFLOWER EAR. I left feeling defeated and conned, as thought my piercing had no chance from the moment I got it. I returned to Constantly Custom to talk to the staff. The reasons my ear didn't heal were out of my control, and I felt like with the time and money and energy I put into healing it I deserved a refund. I was told my ear was good for a snug (which apparently it was not), and pierced with a ring I shouldn't have been which a professional can't expect any random walking in to know ahead of time. I was told by Katey that my ear was reacting to a particle (I have had this bubble on my ear since I got it pierced. Since I never had issues healing I assumed it was a common bubble). Katey's explanation was very different from the one I got from my regular piercer. I told her I planed to take it out on my own and that I didn't want the ring replaced like she suggested, I wanted to be refunded since the issues were not my fault and issues from before the needle even went in my ear. I was talked at by two employees. Their reasoning was that I waited too long to come (however, if I had come any earlier I'm sure they would have told me it was too early and to wait longer). They refused me a refund and then offered to give me another piercing. (1) after my experience why would I want another piercing? and (2) that is almost if not the same as a refund considering I wouldn't be paying for said piercing, which would equally be $60 with tip. It just didn't make sense to me. I feel as thought I was being talked at by two people on one, and we all got very defensive. I was told "I consented and let her pierce me and watched it happen" to which I replied, as a customer and nonprofessional, I literally CANNOT know when someone is putting something in my ear I shouldn't have for a year and if someone is piercing me wrong. I did not even come in requesting said piercing, it was recommended to me. When I said it wasn't fair and asked what I could do I was told "you could call the police" in a rude way, that felt very "what are you gonna do? call the police?" like there was nothing I could do after feeling cheated and all I had gone through with this disgusting thing on my ear, and all I had spent on getting it to heal properly. I am very attached to my piercings, and so it hurt to know this one was a fail and not on my end. Even if I had been refunded for the experience and then not for the ring, since it was in my ear (though I offered to immediately have it taken out), even if it had been half of what I paid. I felt like I wasn't taken seriously, and left overwhelmed and nearly in tears. When I originally spoke to my piercer about my earring, she told me "you should probably not go back there again" just by LOOKING at it as a professional. I won't and after my experience returning I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. read more

I went for a jewelry change to take out a tragus and forward helix I had done over a year ago at a different place by where I went to college. I brought two gold hoops I bought on my own because I've had so many horrific allergic reactions to certain jewelry over the years. I was told the earrings I bought were "too small" and I could either buy the only pair of earrings I was offered or just have them taken out because they wouldn't even try to put them in. I of course bought the other jewelry trusting the piercers expertise and slightly pressure to do so. Before returning my other earrings I decided to try and put my other "small" earrings in and j got them in perfectly... Feels like I almost got scammed sadly. read more

I got my lobe earrings when I was younger so I don't recall anything about it so the cartilage piercing I got on Saturday, for me, was like my "first" piercing experience. I was very hesitant to just going anywhere so I did my research and found this place. There weren't many reviews as it was a fairly new place so I was a little nervous. The place was really clean! I felt really safe when I walked in as it looked really professional and clean. My piercer made sure I was comfortable and answered all the questions I had before and after the piercing! The piercing went as smooth as I could've hoped for! Awesome experience! Got my second lobe piercings done here. Literally a last minute decision with my friend and I found this place on Yelp and reached out the the shop on Facebook messenger. Not only did they respond super quickly, they were really nice and informative and answered all my initial questions about pricing, types of piercings, piercing materials, etc. They made it easy for us to make up our minds on the location and we went in the same night and got our ears pierced together! Our artist was Eva and she was really the nicest and most professional person ever! She talked us through the process and really comforted us with her kind attitude and answering any questions we had before and during the actual piercing. My friend and I both recommend Eva for any piercings. She throughly explained aftercare for us and even wrote down the measurements for a good salt-solution to clean our new piercings. Wow. Making an appointment with this place means absolutely nothing. Made an appointment for myself and 2 other people about 2 weeks ago just to see that they closed the shop on the same day for a convention and didn't even have the decency to let us know that they wouldn't be around to honor our appointment. Been trying to contact them all day to no avail. Took off work for the day to get this tattoo so I'm pretty pissed. This is actually my second experience where they straight up forgot about my appointment. Unacceptable and unprofessional. It's a shame because the girl I went to was very talented but she and the owner have shown that they really can't be relied upon to follow through. Pathetic. read more

I called this shop and asked for 8ga earrings. They had to order them and had them available the next day (which is how they earned the minimum 1-star.) Not only was I given the wrong price over the phone, but they only ordered one earring. In the future, I would take my business to a shop that either keeps all sizes in stock or has the common sense to order pairs in the event that a customer actually meant earrings (plural) when they ask for earrings (also plural). read more

I've "needed" more piercings and I'm super picky about where to go for these things. Being a new store, I get apprehensive but was referred by a friend. Each person who gets bodywork gets a private room that feels like you're at a doctors office but friendlier. They have all the supplies they need (I've been to shops that didn't... which is weird) in a sterile, organized environment.
