Ron responded to my call quickly, had him out the next day, got his advice on what should be taken down, and he gave an estimate for the time required to complete the work, and we agreed on a price. They started their next business day and the work has gone very smoothly. The large redwood was right above my house and up against a neighbor's fence but the entire thing was taken down cleanly and without damaging any of the neighboring trees, the fence, or the propane and septic tanks below it. Probably most impressive was the cleanup, parts of my yard look dramatically better than they did before I hired them. For the quality of work done, the scale of the job, and the high skill Ron and his crew demonstrated while working, I felt this was money very well spent. He charges per day, and for me this was a more flexible model for figuring out the work that would fit within my budget. I can't recommend Ron enough, and we'll have him and his crew back soon enough.

Living in the woods after experiencing a total loss fire was a bit nerve-racking, but we fell in love with this property in the redwoods. I knew we needed to do a bunch of large tree branch cutting for safety and also aesthetic purposes. Also we needed removal of fire risk dead branches on the ground all over the property and on steep forest hillsides. I had no idea how to tackle this new type of property maintenance, as we never had to do this type of tree work in Los Angeles, as well as we didn't have any local resources yet. I was really hoping that we could find someone here that we could trust with our beautiful old redwood trees - but still be affordable. After meeting Victor, we did an extensive property walkthrough to go over all of our goals, questions, and concerns. He spent so much time talking through it all with us, and I was so relieved to find that he was SO good with his attention to details, wealth of knowledge, and great communication skills.
