Kyle did a great job grinding up 15 stumps of various ages that were on my property. Not only did he do the job as requested, he went beyond that and was thoughtful about the reason I was having the stumps removed and what I intended to do with the space. He carefully cleaned up after all the grinding and cut the stumps down with a chainsaw prior to grinding so that there would be less mulch (because I didn't need mulch where the stumps were). read more

He was prompt for the initial survey and every day of tree work we had done. He and his team were on site at 8:00 a.m. each day, working, and kept an eye on their noise and impact on our neighborhood. With COVID-19, and being at home while they did all their work, we could hear people talking to each other with respect and genuine concern. He also met me at the nursery to choose trees to replant in my yard. He brought his truck, picked the trees up and planted them for me. To my surprise, he really went the extra mile to rake the gravel back and remove all the wood shavings to totally finish the job. The yard looks amazing! In addition to tree removal, Adney has trimmed/thinned and belted some Cedar trees on the boarder to my neighbor. Those trees presented some safety concerns as they hang over the roof. Kyle was extremely professional and customer focused!!! He arrived on time for initial meeting and knew exactly what to do with my trees. One was old and rotten, so it needed to go. He recommended removing part of my holly trees, trimming them and putting a cable on my coastal oak. Lastly, the old large redwood tree needed to be trimmed to raise the "canopy". They had me come outside twice and check the work to see if it was cut as we wanted. They cleaned up everything and even raked and swept up the leaves in our side yard that were already there. Kyle did a wonderful job pruning our pear tree. We had a tree that had not been tended to in a long time, if ever. It was overgrown and growing into a structure on our property. Kyle came in an pruned back the branches for healthy growth and cut the tree so that it would not interfere with the structure in the future. We have just had a great experience with Adney Tree Service. Kyle gave us a great estimate for taking out a diseased oak. Due to various scheduling problems for us, we had to delay the project at number of times. Kyle worked hard with us in order to finally work out a date when the work could be done.
