This made our home-buying process extremely less stressful! When I came out to check on the site - the engineer was very helpful, listened and was informative. After sharing the report with my home inspector, they mentioned how impressed they were with the detail and coverage of the inspection. Considering some of the rates we were quoted, this was the best price hands down in the Houston area. He demanded most of the money up front, after we were halfway through the foundation repair. He was hard to comminicate with. Several weeks would go by without any response to my calls and texts. He told me that one time, he did not return my calls is because he was in jail. It took him 4 months to finish the foundation repair, and requested more money to finish the roof leak and finish the sidewalk that he was supposed to repair. His crew tore up the old sidewalk (pictures attached), but left as soon as he did with the check for materials. His crew never came back. I told him I was going to put a stop payment on the check, but he had already cashed it. He told me to find someone else to finish the work. I have since found out that he has pulled this kind of scam before. He is not trustworthy, and I am affraid that the warrenty he gave me on the foundation isn't worth the paper it was printed on. The only concern I have is that they dug up my bush and put it back and now it is dead. They also used my electricity for their equipment which left me with an outrages electric bill. I ask would they be giving me a credit for my bill and was told no. Foundation work is not cheap and for them to use my electricity to operate their jackhammers and microwaves for eating their lunch on me that I am paying for is ridiculous. Not to mention they kill two of my plants with no replacement. So this is why I am giving them 2 stars. If you use them be sure that they bring a generator to operate their equipment and if they have to dig up your plants make sure they replace them with new ones. Because the one that dig up will not and replace will not live.

He sat us down and explained all that he saw. His written report was well written and even I could understand most of it! His fee was very reasonable for the time he was taking measurements. FYI: Level Check put in 28 piers plus 3 inside the house in 2019 and wouldn't even come out unless we hired a Structural Engineer. Now, in 2024, they want to put in another 25 around the house again for only $25,000!! I would not recommend them!
