I am so incredibly frustrated with my experience hiring David Trevino for a primary bathroom…read moreremodel. We started on December 3rd, and it has been a nightmare ever since. If you're looking for someone reliable, keep looking. David would only show up a couple of times a week, usually late in the afternoon, which dragged the project on forever and left my family without a functional bathroom for weeks. To make things worse, there was major financial mishandling. Despite me paying a $1,900 deposit, he constantly claimed he didn't have money for basic materials. I actually had to go out and buy the tiles myself--which were supposed to be included in his price--just so he could keep working. When he did actually do work, it was completely defective: The shower floor is a disaster: It's sloped the wrong way, so water pools in the corner instead of going down the drain. Some of the tiles are offset and some weren't. After he abandoned the project on Dec 29th, he verbally promised a refund but has since disappeared and stopped responding. Five other contractors have looked at it and confirmed it's a total loss that has to be torn down and redone. Save yourself the money and the headache--do not hire him.

We decided to go with Cure-Rite Concrete after receiving a few other bids. Even though they weren't…read morethe cheapest option, we chose them because Jasper, Cristian, and their crew clearly stood out, and we're so glad we did. Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and their professionalism was evident from day one. From our first conversation, Jasper took the time to walk us through his portfolio and explain the different types of concrete, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. Their crew worked seamlessly across both properties, and impressively, both projects were completed within a week and done beautifully. We had a few minor hiccups along the way, but Jasper and Cristian were quick to respond and addressed every issue promptly and professionally. If you have a project involving new cement, do yourself a favor and hire Cure-Rite Concrete. In fact, my parents were so pleased with the results that they're planning to hire them again to install a cement back patio, a side patio, and to replace their old two-car driveway. Thank you, Jasper and Cristian, for delivering two projects with true excellence. Highly recommended!

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY…read more Wife of the previous 1-star review describing the concrete seal / anti-scratch nightmare. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.

Rather than talking it through or addressing it professionally, Jeff abruptly rescinded his offer to help, said he would not work with me and told me to find a new engineer, and said goodbye.
