Smash burger  and  onion rings

Just wanted to give a shout out to the food and our waitress last night for dinner. I had a Smashburger with onion rings. I got 4 onion rings, but man, the size of them was huge. All you needed was 4. Very juicy and flavorful environment was very clean pics below.

Underwhelmed. Had fairly high expectations after reading several reviews. We stopped in because the place we wanted to visit was closed for lunch. This place has two entrances but you sort of have to figure that out for yourself. To the left is the bar. to the right is more family style. table and booth seating or bar if you choose. There is a slight stale smell inside. They have cloth napkins like a nicer restaurant but cracked plastic cups like a cheaper restaurant. dust on the walls and lights above the table. Sever "W" (i dont want to call her out by name) was professional but not warm, inviting or overly polite. Im not sure if she looked at our age and thought we were too young to be there. maybe she had been burned on tips in the past. (we are in our 30s but rest of clientele was much older). i just didnt feel welcomed by her at all. she never greeted us. Our food was good. my reuben was made wonderfully with thin slices of crisped corn beef. the horseradish mayo(?) was interesting. im still not sure if thats what it was. My husband ate all his chicken fried chicken. the sweet potato fries were quite delicious. The dessert was very good and large size. Mens bathroom smelled like dirty mop water and the women's smelled like sewer. They have a decent kids menu also. Overall the food tasted good. we were not unhappy but not impressed for the price with the overall feel and cleanliness of the place. for the prices and ambiance they seem to be seeking i would try to up the server game and cleaning a bit more. the carpet was dirty. has stains and visible food on it everywhere. Salad had HUGE chunks of inedible cucumber with its waxy skin still on. looked like an after thought or a hack job. salad was very disappointing. no effort at all.

Very disappointed, was renamed due to the owners have another property named the same. Since the name change they have tore down the outside deck and no more bike nights . The service was very slow and lacking to say the least. Will not return, however the food was good so sad .

Packed on a friday night, so we opted for an open seat on the patio, it was a beautiful evening so we didn't mind. However as Iowans we forgot about Missouri laws allowing smoking on patios at restaurants. It wasn't too bad, most guests were courteous and went out to the giant concert type area to smoke, but a few sat to let it linger. This review gets one star knocked off for this. The food. My meatloaf sandwich was awesome, truly one of the best I've had. The sweet potato fries were also prepared well and enjoyed. My wife went with the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were large, juicy, and seasoned and cooked very well. Her fries were not good. A tad on the soggy side and very chewy, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Craft beer and cocktail selection and was pretty good considering the location in rural MO. Service was outstanding.

Parking at Liberty Commons was free and easy, which was a nice bonus. The only downsides were minor facility issues. The temperature at the bar fluctuated a lot. It was extremely hot at first and then suddenly very cold, so the HVAC did not seem well balanced. Also, the water pressure in the men's restroom was almost nonexistent, which is not great when it comes to handwashing. That said, the restaurant itself was clean. Overall, a very solid visit with excellent service, and I would absolutely return, especially if Emily is behind the bar.

We take our group of high school special needs students on outings every week in the community to learn how to do things like order food and pay for it at a restaurant. Today we tried to take them to Joy Wok in Liberty for a new experience. We had already checked the price and made sure that everyone had enough money for food and a tip. When we walked in we were told that each person would have to pay $5 more because we were a "group". We tried to explain that we were paying individually but they were very rude to us and told us that it would not only be $5 more but that we would be having water unless we paid even more for a soft drink. We felt like they just didn't want our group. One of our adults even asked them if they were ok losing out on the money if we left and they were fine with it. We have never been treated like that on any of our outings before. It was shocking. We got back on the bus and took our class to the McDonald's nearby and they were wonderful to us. None of us will be returning to Joy Wok. So enjoy losing business, assholes.
