Requested to pause my membership after my Pregnant wife and I were in a fairly serious car accident…read moreand going through rehab for a few months. The manager denied my request to pause so I cancelled it. Two weeks later they still charged me my monthly payment and annual membership fee (didn't know this existed). Called them back thinking it was a mistake and they explained they have a 30 day cancellation policy and if I reported to my credit card company they would send it to collections. Absolutely insane management style exhibited by this place. They tout they are a local family owned gym but the owner lives in Austin. Other staff was friendly. Gym equipment is very old and subpar and it was always packed but that's what you get from a cheap gym. Can't wait for better gyms to open in this area.

It may not have everything you want, but it's got anything you need. 24 hour access is pretty standard now, but it can be rare at these smaller gyms, so they've got that going for them too. There are tanning beds, a stretching area, tons of cardio equipment, traditional machines, and a smaller free weight area. This place can get pretty busy at times, but I'm generally in during off hours and rarely have to wait for equipment. All things considered, this place feels like the small business it is and you get the sense that your money means something here. If that's important to you like it is to me, you'll find that you definitely get your money's worth at this gym.

I've had a fantastic experience with this gym and its nutritional coaching program. One of the…read morestandout features is the small class sizes--capped at just 6 people--which means you get a lot of personal attention from their personal trainers without the pressure or chaos of a big-box gym. Whether you're brand new to fitness or a seasoned gym-goer, this place is designed for all levels of physical ability. The personal trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and great at modifying workouts to fit your goals and limitations with focus on proper form and calculated movements. The nutritional coaching is a huge bonus. It's not a one-size-fits-all plan--they take the time to work with you individually and help you build habits that actually last. The month-to-month membership is reasonably priced and gives you flexibility without locking you into long contracts, which I really appreciate. There are no additional fees. If you're looking for a gym that combines affordable personal training, nutritional coaching, and real results--this is the place.

Last week there were 10 people in lane 1 and 6 in lane 11. Clubs take the lanes until 7:30 and the pool closes between 8/830 during the week. Sunday pool hours are until 5:30 because the gym closes at 6! This could be a good facility if they figure out the swim schedule and extend weekend hours. Front desk is apathetic and claim "we cannot so anything about it" because they are owned by the City. Maybe I'll go to Craig Ranch and swim there, it's worth the extra price to not deal with incompetence and apathy

I have experienced significant difficulties in canceling my Planet Fitness membership. Despite…read morepersistent efforts over two weeks, I've been met with obstacles. Upon visiting the facility to inquire about cancellation, I was informed that settling my yearly dues is a prerequisite. As a senior on a fixed income, I'm particularly sensitive to unexpected expenses. Given my eligibility for free gym membership through Medicare, I've opted for an alternative gym that participates in the program. It's concerning that Planet Fitness appears to prioritize membership fees over customer needs, continuing to deduct payments despite my infrequent use of the facility. I'm prepared to accept the financial implications of non-payment, as I believe the company's practices are unfair to consumers. I advise prospective members to carefully review the terms before committing to a membership.

The gym is in a great location and isn't usually too busy. You sometimes have to wait for a machine…read morebut it's not bad at all. It's generally very clean and it's a relaxing place to work out. My only real complaint is that several of the machines need lubrication and basic maintenance. I've told staff about them but they haven't addressed it. Also several of the machines are bent/crooked and have holes in the padding. I'm tempted to bring a tube of grease with me and do the maintenance myself. It takes seconds to reach into the weight area and add some grease to the rails. The tricep extension machine has a very crooked bar. IT's 4 degrees off level (the part you hold onto and push down with both hands) which puts unequal pressure on your wrists and elbows with each rep. Leg Extension Machine to the left of the leg press has really bad chatter greater than 140lbs which prevents it form operating smoothly. If you do a rep too fast the weight gets grabby and gets stuck. This HURTS. Dependent Bicep Curl machine is bent and missing a palm sized piece of padding where you lay your elbows. The handgrip arm is bent at an angle and is not level. This makes doing reps awkward and crooked and hurts your left wrist. The chest press machine directly behind the seated row machine and closer to the dumbell area is badly in need of lubrication. Anything over 100lbs and the force to get the bar moving goes up exponentially and it chatters and has jerky motion. The weights moving up and down on the metal rails get grabby and don't move smoothly. The seated row machine by the chest press also needs lubrication. Anything greater than 200lbs and you almost can't move the bar, then it suddenly becomes unstuck and moves normally until you do your next rep. It sometimes squeaks and chatters loudly when this happens.
