I have a small property but a major job. The lot was untended and overgrown for decades, and looked like...well, like what Orange County would look like if humans didn't live here. Mike came out, gave me great advice and references for everything his team doesn't handle, like a new gate, and then completely rescaped the property. Now there's beautiful new lawn in the front and back yard, there's an automatic sprinkler system, a new TREE, a new PLANTER they had to build from scratch (after demoing the old disintegrating planter) and it is just generally brilliant. It's frankly miraculous. I feel incredibly lucky I reached out to Mike, he was very chill and pragmatic and easy to talk to about everything. I empowered him to make all the decisions, "I don't know anything about plants, I just want it to look good!" And it looks super good. A+. Paid Conner to remove my old lawn and plant a new one back in Oct. 2022 and a year later, now the sego is dying, the lawn has dead patches and the rest is mostly weeds. Since I did not babysit them, they transplanted the sego where they wanted instead where I asked. They did that twice. With it dying now, going to have to remove it and start over. NOT with them. I am a property manager in Rancho Cucamonga and Connors has been our landscape vendor. To be clear, I have only had to work with connors since mid November. We have had several issues that I have reported to their office. Including the team arriving and just sitting in their truck for several hours (reported to the office) leaves not being collected (reported to their office) and our bushes being very over grown (reported to route supervisor several times). Nothing was done about any of their issues, when a team member asked the gardners to please pick up leaves, the team member replied "you aren't my boss" I understand it has rained but I have not seen the company for atleast 2 weeks Overall I have had a terrible experience with this company. All I ask is they pick up the leaves, clean, de-weed, and trim bushes. None were done. I found leaves stashed under bushes and in walk ways, instead of being collected. I have tons of pictures but I won't post the same issue multiple times. Connors I invite you to our community to make this right. This is a follow-up to my previous review of this company. Several of the young podocarpus trees that they planted last year were bent over by the Santa Ana winds. When I brought this to their attention the company responded by sending out a couple of employees to reinforce the trees using heavy-duty posts. They did this at no additional charge to me. The fact that they provided this after-sale care as a courtesy shows me that Connor's Landscape truly cares about customer satisfaction. Very disappointing how unprofessional this company is. We were to go out of town and ended up staying back to fulfill our appointment time and they never showed up or bothered to call to tell us that they were not coming. The lady at the office that answers the phone told us that Mike the owner was at another appointment running Late and he would not be able to show up. The project manager Oscar and his team came early in the morning today, apologized to us very sincerely, and let us know the reason why their office thought our project was finished is that they currently have another project and the owner of that house is also "Roy". This is totally a misunderstanding which I think is a reasonable reason. Anyway, they completed all the jobs left, fixed everything, replaced the old sprinklers with new ones, and planted some beautiful plants and flowers and even cleaned the job site before leaving . Oscar also explained to us in detail about the concerns we had. Connor's Landscape worked on our front yard landscaping and upgrade to drip irrigation last Fall. I received multiple quotes from landscaping companies, their estimate was mid-range. We decided on Connor's because they were the most professional and responsive. Mike came out for the estimate and sent a list of plants for approval before signing the contract. Jose was the project foreman. He and his team showed up on time and ready to work. They were respectful and cleaned up their work areas at the end of each day. Jose took the time to listen to my ideas and thoroughly answered any questions. Violet from the office was also great to work with. The 4 day project was a seamless experience. We hired these guys to come and install a retaining wall along with dirt and grass. At first, had a really good experience. The folks we talked to in person were very nice and helpful. However about 7 months after install the retaining wall is failing and the lawn is sagging in areas. We had them come out once to fix and they just put more dirt in. I called again and tried to get them to fix their work and they said they don't service work older than one year after install. So basically buyer be warned, don't expect more than a year of functionality out of their work, and don't expect good service once the project is complete. Really disappointing. I even told them I was willing to pay to have it fixed and to send someone out, twice I called and multiple emails, never a single word back. read more

Need a area of sod replaced, about 700 sqft. Got bids for artificial turf but not sure if it was worth the investment so we wanted to go forward with regular sod. Connor's bid for SOD replacement came in at 150% (50% more) of the cost for high grade artificial turf for the same area which included gopher mesh. My feedback? Don't use this company, unless there are multiple competitive bids. read more

Personally, I am a general contractor and usually do my own work around the house. Due to my lack of free time, I decided to hire Connor's Landscaping for my yard and irrigation. I had a rough idea of what I was looking for, but Mike truly filled in the details for me. He not only provided an estimate but revised the estimate 3 different times to accurately reflect my requested changes. The customer service was outstanding. He even recommended me stopping by the nursery to snap some pictures of exactly the color green that I wanted to be installed as hedges. They matched it perfectly. As for the installation and overall look... I could not be any happier with the end product. They laid out the plants, had me check the spacing to make sure I was happy, and the install was under way. After a few hours, I wanted to add a couple more and change two/three things, and it was completed immediately. The foreman stopped by my house a few days later simply to walk around and check that the irrigation was properly flowing. Outstanding service and follow through. I had just completed a bunch of work to my back yard including a pool and hired Mike and his crew to finish it off with the landscape. His bid came in middle of the road. But when he came out to give me a estimate he was on time, and came off very professional. They installed about 3500 square feet of grass, planters and about 6 yards of rock. It took his guys about a week. They showed up everyday on time and communicated what they were going to do. The yard was always cleaned up at the end of the day and not once did I see trash or Del taco wrappers or water bottles. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. Writing reviews is not my thing but was so impressed with Connor's landscape, from their staff to their customer service. The initial phone call was great and so informative. We set up a in person appointment that day, when Mike and Joe showed up they toured my property that was in dire need of some updates and repairs. They spent about an hour with me and provided different layouts and ideas. Joe took the lead and provided ideas that would work within my budget. He talked about different plants that would tie in with the different color plant schemes I was looking for. I was interested in desert scape and various natives, mixed with common plant materials. I'm not an expert but wanted to provide input and let them decide on the best fit. From the initial visit to the actual start date was about 3 weeks. Connor's did an excellent job converting 1,000 sf of turf to a drought tolerant landscape of isolated plants and river rocks, and reconfiguring our entire irrigation system to not only accommodate this but also to improve the irrigation of our remaining lawn. From the day that work began they showed up every day, and they didn't mind that we changed our minds on some things and expanded the scope as well partway through the project. We live in a historic neighborhood and needed someone who was open to honoring our home and yard. There hasn't been a day since the completion of our backyard that we haven't commented on how happy we are with our new yard. Conner's is a refreshing change from traditional landscapers who create a static plan and implement. They came out and listened with an open mind to our ideas and spent time looking at the ideas we had saved online. They were also shared their thoughts and ideas which we greatly appreciated. Mike and his awesome team then implemented the plan step by step allowing us to change, alter and reflect after each phase of the project, while working within our estimate. After our large backyard had cleared, they marked out the hardscape and allowed us time to reflect and make alterations. Not being entirely sure of the exact plants we wanted, I was able to meet Mike at the nursery where we collaborated on plant ideas. I appreciated that he was thoughtful not only about our budget but also about not over planting as things will grow. He was also open to using 1 gallon plants to help us save money. We also love, love love that they put drip lines in so many of our beds and were totally open to throwing one up in a tree to water our stag horn fern. We also greatly appreciated that his team would show up on time and leave the area clean at days end and were very kind and amenable to little "suggestions." We also love the fact that after the completion of our project that they have come out to make alterations such as adding additional drip lines after I added more plants. Oh! My initial contact and experience working with the company was great and I would have given them five stars. However, once I made the final payment (paid over $20K in labor and plants), my multiple calls/emails went unanswered after 1 month. So much for the sales pitch "call us a anytime after we're done and we'll come out". A total and complete lie. Some of the plants in my backyard were not doing well and realized they weren't getting enough water as the drip system wasn't sufficient for the area. To keep the plants alive, I was manually watering the plants - not really what I envisioned when installing a watering system. I eventually had to hire In a separate planting area, I requested a drip lines to be installed. When all the plants died, I called another landscape company in and we discovered that the drip line was just placed there an not connected to a water source! I ended up hiring another company to fix the errors Connor's made. They were awesome! Save yourself money and headache and don't use Connor's! read more

Bad. I dont really like leaving negative feedback unless I think it could save someone a headache. Took over our HOA maintenance, never fixed one thing after asking Multiple times. Our 'Project Manager' never returned calls or texts If you notify the workers of something they say they will tell the office and their 'Irrigation tech' will be out (Supposedly included in contract). Heard that at least a dozen times, never came once. Called and emailed the office. No response. Maybe the owners left the country. Only good spot was the Crew guy Alex that seemed to make some sort of effort. read more

Horrible customer service. We had sprinklers redone and instead of 5 zones we now have three meaning there are two areas not getting watered. Less than two weeks after installation we had a shut off valve that cracked and wad spraying water. Had to have another plumber come out and fix it on the weekend. Then we noticed one of the sprinkler heads was leaking. It has been two weeks since we called on this last one and it is still leaking. I would not recommend using them. read more

We needed a softscape company to complete the renovation of our entire yard with numerous species of plants and trees as specified in the landscape architect's drawings. After interviewing several companies, we awarded the contract to Mike. We liked his presentation, the bid was competitive, and most importantly, we felt we could trust Mike with this important project. We were not disappointed. Mike was honest, detailed and diligent, as were Javier and their hard-working crew. They maintained a clean work-site throughout the few weeks they were on site, kept on schedule in close coordination with the hardscape contractor, and did a beautiful job.
