I took my license test from them. The class was great, but the instructor was rude to me. I had my pistols in a bag next to my chair, secured and unloaded and he demanded that I remove them and put them in my car. Said I was endangering the class, despite the fact that he was carrying a loaded pistol on his hip. I got my license, however, I really don't want to go there for any type of shooting or classes again unless they change their attitude!

Range is great for pistol shooting and some tactical shotgun and long guns. State of the art carrier system and all lanes are working. The place is usually busy but never really have had to wait more than a few minutes to get to a lane. Pricing is good for range time and there is an option for membership. The selection of rentals could be better but it's enough that if you have never shot you have a good selection. The store has a small selection of the most popular pistols and some long guns with decent prices. Overall the range, Store, and especially staff are great. And I highly recommend this place. This is the best indoor range with in 30 miles of my town I have been to in the area.

The guys behind the counter are very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming to everyone walking through the front door. I've been to smaller shops and larger ones; I'd say that there's a good chance they can steer a customer in the right direction with stock on-hand, and absolutely will order from their distributor anything they don't. There's also a selection of used (yellow tag) items for sale, as well as consignment items (green tag) for sale as well. Like most gun store owners, they're a bit wary of new customers coming through the door, but after you get to know them, they will absolutely be there for you with any advice and help to make sure you're satisfied and safe. Really appreciate having a store like this, unlike some others in Connecticut that make you feel like you're doing them a favor being a customer. No range on the premises, there are some nearby such as Wolf's (which gets my thumbs up) where you can try out before you buy.
