I went to the Poway office a few days ago, and there was a sign on the door stating they weren't taking walk-ins due to short staffing. I just needed to get my hearing aid cleaned, which is supposed to be a walk-in. There was also a sign at 1:30 PM stating they were at lunch. I tried the Escondido location the next day, and had the same experience there. One person was working there and I waited 20 minutes (before I gave up) to get my hearing aid cleaned. I called the corporate office and the guy there was basically no help -- in essence, he said "Yeah, we're short staffed. We're trying to fix it." Would not recommend if you have other options.

She's an eye-saving ophthalmologist who did wonders when no one else could -- not even my PCP nor ER doctors (with a CT scan when my primary doctor had said I needed to be seen ""STAT"). The woman Dr. Arun LITERALLY saved my vision. The staff got in right away. Dr. Arun rose above and was so calm and professional. Her demeanor made a huge difference. Her treatment was life-changing. (You take your vision for granted until something happens to the contrary, for which I am forever thankful to this skilled, gifted ophthalmologist.

At my August 26th appointment, my doctor explicitly told me--and their website confirmed--that I would receive my results in 2 to 3 days. When that timeframe passed with zero communication, I contacted Sharp, only to be informed that their in-house radiology department is currently 7 to 14 business days behind. I have been dealing with severe pain since that appointment and have an upcoming consultation with an orthopedist on the 8th. Because of this failure, I won't even have my basic radiology results to support my care or show my specialist. It is completely baffling and unacceptable that an in-house department can fall this far behind in modern healthcare. Shame on Sharp for failing their patients to this degree. If you have any alternative options, please go elsewhere--it is clear that things are only getting worse here.

Days prior I received 5 notifications to confirm appointment which I acknowledged each time. I thought that was excessive granted this was an important appointment that we had no choice to attend. I never received anything else what to bring, what is needed as we assumed eye measurement only. Anyway, accompanying my Father, she was asking many questions and he is hearing impaired. I tried to intervene a few times and she was abrupt and condescending in her words to him. We didn't bring a list of his medications and his eye medications were in the list from the referred Dr. When she asked what eye meds he was taking she asked do you wait 15 min between eye meds? My Father said no, then she immediately lectured him that it's useless and went on and on. The energy in the room changed as I felt her attitude was just simply rude. My Father waits 3-5 minutes in between per his instructions on the package. If she had listened waited for him to respond instead of lecture then he would have spoken. I tried to retrieve his medication list but this office has NO internet connection. Again, she could have retrieved the info from the referring Dr. So in comes Dr. Lee. Her bedside manner is not warm and welcoming. She looked at my Father for under 2 minutes when I was getting a call from our referring Dr which I thought might be important. I kindly asked if I can take the call and told her who it was. She had a blank look on her face and said she was "DONE" with the exam!!! BTW there is a piece of paper that says no phone calls in the room. I totally understand. However, this is the referring Dr which is giving this Dr business!! I was appalled by this behavior. I get you can be strict and controlling with calls, but again, referring Dr calling could be important and it was not a personal call!!! I did let our referring Dr know of our experience here. I also looked at the reviews after and there is a concerning pattern how others our treated with this particular team. Please treat the elderly with dignity. Kindness goes a long way!!!!

They also offer a 1/2 syringe which can be hard to find. It has been a little over a week since I got my lips done, and my lips look completely normal. I don't know what they injected me with but it couldn't have been juvederm. One of the areas of focus was my lopsided lips from previous filler. In the photo collage I have my before, (after) day of, and a week later. As you can see, there is more definition in my top lip when I am swollen, but after my swelling went down, so did my lips. I can feel that there is still something in my lips, but the volume is gone and my lips are still lopsided. There may be slight increase in volume on my bottom lip but that may also be an angle thing. I included a flipped version of the collage so you could further see what I'm talking about. They are only open 3 days a week, so I won't be able to contact them for awhile. But according to their website, there is no refunds.

Dr. Tantuwaya is highly skilled and has a lifetime of experience yet is so down to earth that he can efficiently work through patients' shock/crisis/symptoms. He did so respectfully and was able to quantify the exact cause, clearly identify the treatment options, and then administer a thoughtful and effective treatment plan. He is fantastic with details and saved me great stress in the way they document everything too. When presenting to the insurance company, it was a relief to me that I had never found a single technical discrepancy from our visits and procedures over the entire two plus years; Every QC on paperwork from visits and procedures was perfect and they were courteous and available to help me procure the reports in a timely manner.
