I will admit I went somewhere else once (Jeff's Auto Repair) w/an oil leak because Mikey was busy and Jeff's said I didn't have a leak, yet WOW!! What was that puddle underneath my car that wasn't there before?? hmmmm....waited for Mikey and got it fixed!! Won't go anywhere else. He takes care of his customers. Might be a bit slow on returning calls, but it's well worth the price & the knowledge.

He got me on the road within few minutes after diagnostics and alerted me that it was electrical and he can get me started to at least get me home (I was stalled on a very busy road!) Today we connected to fix my relay. We started by phone call, then text. His response were very prompt and professional. He came to my area and I'd say hour / hour n half he repaired my relay and car starts and runs like a charm! Just drove it around to test and is runs like it's suppose to!! Next is oil leak repair + many more (stereo/speakers install) Very knowledgeable and reliable! If you need a mechanic don't hesitate to reach Kalins!

Matt helped me out in the first two inital greetings and then Larry (the owner), basically followed up with all the cost estimating and appointment setting. I'm not a huge fan of dealing with mechanics shops and hadn't really had the experience of dealing with a body shop before, so I had the same feelings at first that I do of mechanics placese. I was told by my insurance that this place was handling both the body damage and a mechanical diagnostic. Before I picked up the car, I called in to inquire about the status and Larry informed me the work was done and that they had taken it around the block and "listened" for anything unusual. After some conversation, it was made clear that they do not actually have a certified mechanic on staff and I was uneasy to the tune of the "diagnostic" done as Larry had stated "well, we didn't know what it sounded like before you brought it in of course but nothing sounds out of the ordinary". This is an issue I took back to my insurance, who in turn decided to let me take it to the dealership for the diagnostic. NOW. The good news! The body work was increidible and the work is guaranteed by the shop for life. Not to mention, after I picked up my car from the dealership they told me the car was fine and also stated that whoever did the body work on the front end did a really stellar job. When I told them it had been Kirmac they said, oh yea that's a great shop! We tell our customers to go there all the time. So, while there was some initial confusion about the dx portion of the services rendered I do have to give a shout out to Kirmac in Burien and a BIGGER shout out to Larry. You guys handled my repairs really well, were very patient with my waivering on the final results and I especially appriciated the little card and hand made basket of chocolate that you left on my dash board. You guys rock! This shop is excellent.

I did notice an issue on my car door after I picked up my car, called them up, took it in the next day and it's as good as new. I would go back to them. My only issue is that their communication isn't the greatest. I never received any phone calls about the work being done even though I left them several numbers to reach me at. I did receive emails though. Unlike the previous reviewer, I did not find a hand written note or chocolates in my car when I picked it up.

I brought my Mercedes GL450 in for suspension work. They kept my vehicle for more than a week and then charged me $5700 plus. Instead of fixing my car properly, they damaged it. During their work, they broke the coolant radiator and all the related hoses, causing coolant leaks that did not exist before I brought the car in. This damage was clearly the result of their negligence, yet they refused to take responsibility or offer a proper resolution. Charging luxury-car prices while delivering careless, incompetent work is unacceptable. Keeping a customer's car for over a week and returning it in worse condition shows a complete lack of professionalism and skill. I was left with extra repair costs, lost time, and serious frustration--all because this shop failed to do a basic job correctly. If you value your vehicle, especially a Mercedes or any high-end car, stay away from this shop. Paying $5700 plus to have your car damaged is something no customer should ever experience.

And they were very tight-lipped about it, but they finally disclosed when I became angry that Joe is no longer the owner of this establishment. During the test drive, a salesman was required to come with me and also took me on a mandatory guided route which did not let me drive the car on the freeway. The freeway is where the car has many issues that I did not know of prior to buying. To my surprise, the sales department told me that they would help cover any diagnosis/repairs for the harsh vibrations that occur at freeway speeds under load. However, the service department just gaslighted me by telling me that the car is mechanically perfect and has no vibration issues. They also would not let me take a tech for a drive to reproduce the issues. The more I drove the car, the more issues I found and one of their salesman insisted that they would diagnose and fix the issues but this turned out to be very false. I contacted the GM of the dealership multiple times through email in response to his email which asked me to let him know if I can have questions, comments or concerns. However, the GM has flat out ignored me and won't even bother with a basic response. So not only will they screw you over by not letting you fully test the car, they will do whatever they can to prevent you from returning/exchanging the car, they will gaslight you over the issues the car has, and on top of that, they won't even show you the basic courtesy of responding to you when you contact them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Update: Finally spoke with their GM Tim Lasso and this guy is a real piece of work. He basically blamed me for everything. Didn't take responsibility for anything. Had the nerve to say that the service department cannot fix what isn't broken while telling me that a car with 105k miles is going to have worn out parts and have issues. So he contradicted himself by saying it's likely the car has issues while also telling me that service can't fix what isn't broken. What a joke. So when the dealer wanted at least $900 to fix her headlight switch and horn. I was less than thrilled. So we took it to Hermann's. They replaced the needed parts and performed the service fast, and at a price way more in line with what I expected. $298. So my experience with them was very good. And I highly recommend them for you.
