In the middle of the shower/tub installation, the installer thought he was going to need more tile than we had on hand. So, not to delay the installation, I called the company to see if we could order another box. The order took a few days longer to come in than promised. Between the time the order was placed and the tile being sent to the company, the installer found he did not need another box. My frustration is, I shared with the gentleman at the store that the box was no longer needed and that I would like to receive a refund. With a little attitude, he stated I could not have a refund because the box had come out of New York and refunds were not permitted. I asked if it was possible to deduct the shipping cost and receive the difference, no was the answer. We are in the process of ordering tile for a third bathroom. We found similiar tile at Lowes and ordered what is needed. The nice thing about Lowes is, what we don't need can be returned for a complete refund (without attitude).

And not only that, every time I was in his shop, I witnessed he consistently gave a great level of care to all the clientele that entered or he personally serviced. Derrick, Mark, and the lead warehouse manager were also wonderful to work with and each of them, in their own way, made my experience a great one and the outcome is two beautiful bathrooms me and my guest will enjoy for years to come! We asked for samples from each and then more samples. We called with our questions about the product and shipping, and finally selected a lovely strand bamboo from Ambient. The team at Ambient was on the ball all the time. Our order traveled thousands of miles and we were able to track it with Ambient at every port. The other company couldn't even send correct samples so we rejected them out of the gate. We love our Ambient floor. We would do business with Ambient again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding customer service + an exact match to our existing flooring!…read more After finding that our two previous flooring dealers had either gone out of business or no longer carried our flooring (tiger strand bamboo), visiting a number of local bamboo flooring dealers to no avail, and spending days searching on-line, Ambient was the ONLY dealer we were able to find anywhere in the country that carried our flooring. I love that I was able to order samples, which arrived in just a handful of days. Immediately after ordering the samples, I spoke with Chuck Basso who actually went out to check the flooring himself and was able to confirm that the samples were all from the same lot. Despite a huge amount of variation in colors with this particular flooring, they matched EXACTLY, which was awesome because they were also on their last batch. Chuck had me email him photos of our existing flooring and with his help, I was able to order that exact lot and all the trim that I needed. To be on the safe side, I ordered more than was suggested, but I was further reassured that it's one of their more popular styles of flooring and they didn't expect to run dry anytime soon, which is great because we're thinking of putting in hardwood in our garage conversion and it would be nice to tie the flooring all together. Shortly before delivery, both Chuck and Aaron spoke with me at length about what to expect with the delivery and how to inspect the pallets of flooring and gave me their numbers to contact them via phone if there were any issues. We even talked about whether their standard delivery truck would be able to make it up our steep winding hill. I especially like that each box was clearly marked with the lot number matching my floor samples. The entire process was amazing. I must've spoken with Chuck a half dozen times throughout the process and I wouldn't have been able to go through it without his assistance and valuable feedback. Buying and getting email confirmations was quick and a breeze. I never expected to have to order flooring from across the country in Maryland, but I can't say enough good things about the level of customer service I experienced. These guys are top notch and their products are awesome. Rest assured, I will be returning to them in the future. I highly recommend.

Hercules installed a wood privacy fence with trellis at the top around my yard about a year ago…read more The installers were great, but the salesman was a bit difficult to deal with, especially when it came to some warping, shifting, and splitting of the fence. ​​Nails affixing the fence slats to the post are coming out causing the post to shift. When talking about how this could be resolved, I was told that I could hammer the nails back in. When I told him I couldn't do it because I didn't have that kind of strength (I have back problems), he responded by saying "Don't you have a son who could do it?" Besides the fact that I have no children, this was an inappropriate remark. Customer service was very much lacking. I even had to secure my own permit. I do not recommend using this company.

It had to be the same one, nothing similar. I've called around a million and one companies looking for it to no avail. Either that or they would have to ship it to me, and shipping cost more than the damn tile. I came across ProSource on Yelp and spoke with Jensen Weh who was a huge help from beginning to end. While ProSource didn't physically have this tile, Jensen ordered the time for me from his distributor and I was able to pick it up. All in the same week! Would definitely re-use this company and recommend.
