There were a few hiccups with stain color, namely how it looked in natural light and with the lights on (partly due to the fact that I am new to wood staining and partly due to the red wall adjacent to the sampling we did -- please do your research if you are new to this). There were also smudges on the wall post floor staining, all but one of which Erick was able to fix up (after I noticed and pointed them out which, unfortunately, was after the project was deemed complete). Erick provided a discount for the inconvenience/the one leftover smudge, which I appreciated. Erick took responsibility for his and his team's work and was responsive to our needs and any issues. The floors look great at a reasonable price and I was able to support a small business, which I value (and hope you will too). His primary crew, who worked in my home, were respectful, skilled and kind. I am glad to recommend them to others. Edit: A couple days after the work was done, I noticed some left over materials from the project like wipe cloths, empty plastic bottles, etc. in the home (not a huge amount so not the biggest deal, but things do add up). While the actual flooring work is excellent, clean up/close up is not always 100% it seems, so that's the area I would recommend the company improve. :)

The paint they used on my ceiling is glossy which doesn't match the flat paint I already had..just an altogether messy job that cost me way more than what it's worth. Now, a year later my brand new cabinets are falling apart . Sorely disappointed in this business and would never recommend anyone use them ..save your money and frustration and please go elsewhere.

In my bedroom, they painted, added new baseboards, installed recessed lights, & replaced my old ceiling fan with a fandelier. In my bathroom, it was a complete renovation; all I kept was the toilet so everything else was new. The guys installed a new floor, vanity, lights, shower, shelves, mirror, medicine cabinet, and curtain. The entire project took two weeks. Kras Development is my new favorite contractor & I know from experience that a great contractor is hard to find. I wanted everything to be sustainable and non toxic, particularly with the engineered hardwoods, which are manufactured and I wanted them thick enough for refinishing down the road. Eddie did a lot of searching for us and really found the best option out there for us and they looked gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. He and the owner even called me about the installation for the basement floors and said they would have to use tiny drops of glue at the joints but they had found a non toxic glue to use and sent me the material safety data sheet. The price was more than reasonable, especially considering they had to pull out about an acre of wall to wall carpeting! The work was done very well and I know if I have any issues, they will correct them. Great company!

I had a frustrating experience with this company. When I brought up my concerns, the owner, Mr. Leite, was dismissive and tried to make excuses instead of taking responsibility. At one point he even tried to convince me that my kitchen cabinets were two different colors when they were clearly one which felt manipulative. On top of that, there were hidden fees, including a labor tax and a 3% card fee, that were never mentioned until the final bill. I appreciate good work and honesty, but unfortunately, I didn't get either when it came to the flooring. I would not recommend this company for flooring projects.

We were under a budget so was hoping for a good price on replacing our carpet in the living room, dining room and hallway with luxury vinyl plank. Their quote was very reasonable and included replacement of the carpet with LVP in the two bedrooms in addition to the three areas I noted. We were also looking to replace our 2.5 inch baseboards so they were able to throw in new baseboards into their quote as well. The company is very flexible in scheduling the work - all they needed was two days notice. They were able to replace our floors in two days for a 1,000 sq ft condo. They also have a nice selection of LVP with options at various price points. Our floors had original hardwood and there were a couple of sunken areas in the subfloor which they were able to level out with concrete (fixing with plywood would have been more costly). The crew who came and worked in our home were nice and respectful and I was amazed at how efficient they were barely taking any breaks. Joao provided the quote visit and his two brothers came in and did the work. All of them were very communicative making sure I'd check certain areas to be sure I was ok with the work and answering any questions I had. In the end I am impressed with the floors and wish we replaced our carpet sooner. Dash floors with very communicative and will work with you within your budget.
