I've been going to Condado for years and though I miss their jackfruit tacos, they're always delicious. The bartender at this location is pretty cool and always asks thought provoking questions. Great chill vibes.

The bowl I ordered was yummy and it is every time that I order it. This was my first time trying a flavored tea and it was horrible. I thought that the mango flavoring would sweeten it, but this drink genuinely was just unsweetened tea with tiny chunks of (what I assume to be) mango. Even an artificial flavoring would have been better than this. Definitely disappointed to have wasted the money on this.

Love this spot for tacos and margs. The decor is definitely a bit trippy but it kind of reminds me of some of the restaraunts in my hometown. Food is excellent, we always get street corn guacamole with chips for appetizers. For food, there's several choices of tacos based on what protein you like. I'm partial to the braised and confused and the sweet heat. The margaritas are hard to beat here as well. The seasonal flavor we got last time was dragonfruit which was excellent. For Mexican food, this is my favorite spot up north.

I've admittedly had negative experiences every time I've went to the downtown and lawrenceville locations. But decided to give this Mccandless location a midday shot during the power outage. Great experience! Ordered the $10.99 "crunch bunch" which included 2 customized tacos, a side, and agua Fresca. I enjoyed the topping combos. Mexican chimichurri was great. Their dirty sauce called an "8/10" heat was more like a 3. The chicken was fine. But the loaded tots were the absolute star. Crispy with jalapeños and I liked that the queso was on the bottom so it didn't get soggy.

Margarita. No frozen pitchers (bummer) but the recommended strawberry pineapple was great!

I'm giving 5 stars even though there's NO fried ice cream because our server, Kyle, was simply awesome. Tortillas were very fresh, as was the rest of the food. Love the outside dining. Message to mgmt.. you NEED fried ice cream! It's easily packaged and served on a large scale.

    Love the artwork.

Great food. We let our 7 year old have nachos with pineapple salsa for dinner! He loved it. I wouldn't say this is very child friendly though. There wasn't a kids menu (at least not served to us) and the only juice they had was pineapple juice. Our server did offer to water it down for us though. And my oldest son loved the gray bowls his rice and beans were served in. Another side note: a margarita pitcher is probably too big for 2 people.

I'm not sure if this location is new or if I just haven't noticed it, but I'm glad it's on my radar now! I stopped by on a Friday night for a late dinner. It was around 9pm and the place was still pretty busy. I sat at the bar and service was quick and friendly. I had a couple house margaritas, which were fantastic. And I can't remember exactly what tacos I ordered (which is not helpful at all..), but I can say from experience at this and the other locations that you cannot go wrong. All the tacos are great! Definitely will be back!

A couple weeks ago, my husband and I ate dinner at this casual Mexican-American restaurant. The restaurant was busy with other customers, but the seating hostess very promptly seated us at a high-top table outside. Throughout our meal, our server provided very friendly and timely service. The menu listed quesos, guacamoles, salsas, and lots of tacos (e.g., chicken, ground beef, pork, brisket, steak, plant, and build-your-own). Here are my reviews for our foods: Bianco Queso - 5 stars - This cheese was very gooey and tasted very cheesy. Traditional Guacamole - 4.5 stars - This guacamole was fresh and contained a good amount of jalapeños, cilantro, lime, and red onions. Pineapple Salsa - 4 stars - This salsa contained not only pineapple chunks but also pieces of bell peppers, red onions, roma tomatoes, cilantro, and chipotle honey. Tortilla chips - 4.5 stars - These tortilla chips tasted good but were thicker than other restaurants' chips. Ooey Gooey taco - 3.5 stars - This taco consisted of a hard corn shell, roasted chicken, black beans, queso blanco, onions, cilantro, and sauce. Plain Jane taco - 4 stars - This taco contained chicken, peppers, onions, lettuce, smoked cheddar, and tomatillo salsa (and no tomatoes at my husband's request). My husband described this taco as "pretty good." Braised + Confused taco - 3.5 stars - This taco had a soft shell with rice, beef brisket, jicama and cabbage slaw, pickeled red onions, queso fresco, and chipotle crema. We recommend that the kitchen add a bit more brisket to this taco in the future. Sweet Heat taco - 3.5 stars - This taco had both a hard and soft shell. Inside were beef brisket, queso blanco, onions, cilantro, cheddar, pineapple salsa, habanero-mango sauce, and chipotle honey. We recommend that the kitchen add a bit more brisket to this taco in the future. Chicken Bacon Ranch taco - 5 stars - This taco was a special of the month. It was our favorite taco, so I hope that it will become part of the regular menu in the future. My husband was already thinking about the "next time" that we will visit this restaurant! Tip: I recommend ordering approximately 2 tacos per person. Each taco costs roughly several dollars. (I see one review that says that this is not real Mexican food. Of course, we are located in Pennsylvania, so the food is not authentic. I have eaten real Mexican food in Mexico on many occasions, and I think that this food tastes fine for being Mexican-American.)

Tacos sounds good Was seated outside Fast friendly service Got a bowl Rice beans cheese It was all ok The menu has taco & bowls Choice of fillings and toppings Something about the paper plate plastic fork sauce in little plastic cups said over priced fast food type It's an attractive enough place cute decor the cheap way the food is served just wasn't for me It's not so cheap that bowl pictured was 12 dollars Located in a strip of stores easy parking If you like a nice place sit it would suffice

Went on Friday and the vibe was very lively. Loads of people enjoying their companies. I really recommend their Guac and Lucy's fire taco.

The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen." They were a band from another country that was performing at a nearby venue a little while later. I was excited to be able to get them a good, non-road food meal. I'm sure any band members out there appreciate what a treat this can be. The place was half empty. After 20min., I had to physically go to the bar, where servers were kinda just hanging out, to get someone over to serve us. Our waitress was sweet. We order drinks and food. The chips arrived cold. Small issue. The food came soon after. Cool. Went up to check on drinks. Nothing. I want to stress that they were nowhere near slammed at that time. Our drinks arrived after we were well-finished eating. Not only that, we ordered Margaritas and they were all from nasty, synthetic syrup, with very, very little Tequila. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt so I made sure to say that I did. No salt. We couldn't even finish them they were that bad. Between that and the terrible service timing I regret not getting up, going full-Karen and having them all taken off the bill. But I was mortified and we were in a hurry. So, so embarrassing. Beautiful outdoor covered patio and extensive menu of BBQ options!!…read more We stopped for a weekend Brunch around 10:30 and the place was still completely empty! The hostess stand is a bit of a farce - the employees seemed to hope that people would just seat themselves. Even when we were greeted - they said to just pick your own seat anyway! The decor is pretty cool. I'm partial to the stacked wood for the smoker as you enter, but the rustic feel of everything made the vibe come alive. With the smoker right next to the patio, the wonderful smell of the barbecue permeated the entire restaurant. The brunch menu was just as extensive as their lunch/dinner menu. We grabbed two coffees - which seems like a rarity - as they brought sugar and milk in little dipping sauce cups. The candied bacon was a MUST. 6 slices of thick cut bacon drizzled in brown sugar for only $6. Walter's Benedict with Pork Belly will stalk my dreams... the flavorful crust charred to the fork tender pork belly casually laying on the buttery, crispy chive biscuit smothered in the perfect hollandaise is the brunch you dream of but never really comprehend. Brisket Hash was unfortunately a nightmare though. The menu doesn't inform you that the brisket will be chip chopped into fine dust and coated in hot sauce. It was so spicy that it was almost inedible and the 1/4" of oil under the potatoes and eggs proved that even the hot sauce felt like crying. In all, the amazing waitresses and cool setting outweigh the one menu issue! We will be back!
