Came back here again with friends. This time, I built my own bowl. I got the white rice with black beans, chorizo, and a whole bunch of different vegetables and sauces. Honestly, the chorizo wasn't that flavorful, and the portions were similar to that of a chipotle bowl. The flavors of the vegetables and the salsa(s) carried, and overall the bowl was pretty tasty. My favorite was the dirty dip, which includes chicken and black beans. For my entree, I ordered the Blue Dream and Sweet Heat tacos. The Blue Dream taco was very flavorful. I thought it was weird that it came with 3 tortillas, so I took one off. The Sweet Heat was a brisket taco and had potential, but it was ice cold. It felt like it came right out of the fridge. I was a little wary based on reviews but ultimately very pleasantly surprised! I had the Sweet Heat, Blue Dream and a BYO Chorizo and Tot taco. My boyfriend had the two plant based tacos and the shrimp taco. The Sweet Heat was my least favorite - way too soggy and runny, but the rest were delicious! My boyfriend loved all of his as well. They have a decent amount of seating inside and outside, and it had a good vibe whether you were on a date or fresh from a workout (in our case). I was in need of food for a business lunch/learn situation. I made an inquiry on Condado's website and had a response back in 10 minutes. I then spoke to their catering manager, Makenzie. She was super in helping me put together a nice order. We ended up doing a taco and a nacho bar. The food showed up at exactly the time we agreed. I was also pleasantly surprised that Makenzie brought the order herself. She set everything up, made sure it was all there and looked good and away we ate. My clients and I loved the food. We came here after a soccer tournament with a party of 26 and were very well taken care of. The waitress did a fantastic job - I wish I would have jotted down her name. She mentioned that she always handles the large groups. It showed as she got us in and fed in a very reasonable time with no hiccups. The food is very solid Mexican food. I went with the build your own tacos. You can make them as basic or as fancy as you wish. The chips and queso was a good appetizer. The chips are thicker, and I typically prefer thinner chips, but that is just personal preference. They have wide open restaurant seating that can fit a large group or an intimate date for two. There is also a nice bar area to grab a drink, eat, and watch a game. I'd eat at Condado again! read more

I loved the bold artwork here, service was good, our patio table was nice on a sunny day but would be nicer if the cool metal planters had some plants in them. The menu has a lot of delicious-sounding options. I ordered two tacos - a Korean BBQ (labeled as spicy) and a Baja Shrimp (not labeled as spicy). They come wrapped in foil to be eaten in hand, but the Korean taco had all the meat and sauce at one end, so the flavors didn't mix well, and it didn't seem very spicy. The shrimp taco had a very spicy sauce that overpowered the shrimp and made my mouth burn. They took our order, then never came back. We received our food from someone else, but then they never came back. We flagged someone down to bring our check, who then had to find us someone to get our check. I mean... by the time we left, we interacted with at least 7 personnel. If you are craving for authentic tacos, this is not the place. But if you want westernized Mexican food, this is the spot that serves a variety of selections from tacos to bowls. I tried some of the suggested tacos including the Baja shrimp, southwest midwest, sweet heat, and orange glaze. For some reason the flavors don't really go together that well. The salsas are too sweet and lack acidity at times, which threw off the cohesiveness of a taco. The rice that comes with the Baja shrimp taco is mixed with some sunflower seeds which makes the texture and flavors a bit weird. I also didn't care for the jicama slaw as it didn't add much to the taste. The shrimp was meant to be Baja seasoned but I didn't really catch the marinade. The sweet heat is a beef brisket taco. The salsa was too runny that the taco became soggy. Also the pineapple salsa and the cheddar cheese was a weird combination and didn't go well together. Those were some of the immediate thoughts I had of these tacos I tried. I think if the flour tortilla is toasted or grilled, the tacos won't get as soggy. What a piss-poor experience at the Pinecrest location. Experienced severe food poisoning on 8/6. GM Teresa and team were beyond non-responsive and apathetic to the severity of the situation. I even filled out a Foodborne Illness Incident Report on 8/7... I have yet to hear back the Food and Safety Director. Appalling. I had to hunt the GM down for a response and refund... It literally took 12 phone calls/ email follow ups to even illicit a response.. No one knows how to issue a refund apparently.. Teresa was so lackadaisical about the whole incident and what Condados has put a customer through.-- There was absolutely 0 effort on her and her team's part to make things right. Why would I ever think to return? I will be telling all friends and family to steer clear of this place just due to the poor way they run things (not to mention the questionable quality of the food). Had a terrible experience with the Condado app and delivery service. Ordered tonight at 6:46. Around 8:00 when we were putting the kids to bed, it said ordered completed. I looked outside, no order. I called and the store said the order was cancelled by the delivery service. Funny because the Condado app said completed, and no 3rd party delivery service contacted me to tell me there was a cancellation. The manager said I could come get my food and a gift card... So I find girlfriend and I traveling to Cleveland now more than ever to deal with family stuff.... boy getting old really SUCKS! However, I guess its a part of adulting. Any-who.... after taking care of some family business and headed back to the family home, I heard my girlfriends stomach growl and was like WTF? Are you hungry? Again, with COVID, there are a few restrictions but they were able to accommodate us. We opted for outside seating (which is honestly all they had) due to COVID and the weather was phenomenal (and a first for me when visiting Cleveland. It's usually raining or snowing). We sat down and Summer greeted us with a smile. On a side note, do you all know how good it is to have a representative of a company who enjoys what he/she does. Summer was vibrant, excited and very attentive. It may be because she, like the rest of us are happy to have a job to go to or maybe she's just that type of person. I advised Summer that we were hungry and asked her to make a recommendation for food... but before that, we had to have an adult beverage. We ordered some type of house margarita but I honestly don't remember the name so please forgive me. However, it was fantastic refreshing and hit the spot.... Kudos to the bartender! As far as the appetizers, We started with chips and dip. We tried the Dirty Queso and the Smoked Jalapeño Cheddar Queso.... LAWD HAB MERCY that s#$t was delicious. For our meals, My girlfriend had the Ooey-Gooey and I had three different Tacos (based on Summer's suggestions)... Lucy's Fire, Blue Dream and Braised and Confused. Condados is a great restaurant! We went there as a class on Tuesday, February 11th. I ordered a double-decker taco with a soft and hard corn shell, guac, chicken, fajita veggies, and tater tots on the side. The taco was amazing; it had such great flavors that I would totally order it again. The tater tots were soft and crumbled in my mouth, so amazing! The appetizer I shared with a friend was chips and guac. For a drink, I got lemonade that tasted tart, not too sweet, but still good. Our server was amazing, she was so kind and helpful! The only thing I didn't like was the bathrooms. They were dirty, and one of the paintings was inappropriate, but besides that, Condados was great!!! read more
