I finally tried Condado Tacos on Thursday when I saw an advertisement on Facebook for half-off nachos. I ordered the Build Your Own Nachos with roasted chicken as the protein. It would have been nice to get better explanations of the sauces but since I wasn't sure, I asked for them to be on the side. I also ordered the Mexican Street Corn, and that's the reason I only gave 4 stars. The nachos were really good, my food was ready at the promised time, and my order was accurate. I was surprised by the interior because the exterior had made me think this restaurant was high end and it isn't. The Mexican Street Corn was really bad. I'm used to seeing it on menus as "elote" instead of Mexican Street Corn and maybe that should have been my warning. In any event - Do not order it here. Save your money for something else. I do plan to go back and try their tacos. I am not expecting to have authentic Mexican style tacos here, but a family member told me the tacos are pretty good so I will try them for myself. We had so much fun here with a group of about 10. I would recommend calling ahead, but they were able to seat us together and our experience was great. The tacos are awesome, two were plenty to eat. I enjoyed the guacamole, chorizo queso and the corn as well. The black beans weren't great, they were overcooked and pretty bland. I think the best part was the drinks and the lively atmosphere. It was just a really fun place. Overall, it's great for a group of friends or a casual date. Not sure it's right for a quiet business meal or serious occasion. We arrived around 6:00pm and were seated immediately. There were already quite a few people already seated when we arrived. Our server came over quickly and explained the menu as this was the first visit to this restaurant for all of us. She took our drink orders , soda and margaritas, of course. The place was quite loud with conversation and music. It seemed most people didn't mind it but I found it too loud! At what seemed like an appropriate time she asked us if we were ready to order. I got the Black Bean and Rice Bowl with pulled pork, lettuce and tomato. I chose a corn salsa and Avocado Ranch dressing. My wife also chose a Bean and Rice bowl with no added protein but lettuce and tomato, with Corn Salsa and some topping sauce. My grand daughter ordered a Quesadilla with chicken and cheese. My son in law had a chicken and bean with rice bowl with a ranch dressing, and no salsa. Our food came in a reasonable time with the crowd size already seated. How ever my granddaughter's quesadilla was badly burnt. I wish I could have remembered to take a photo, but is was black on both sides. The server understood our displeasure and took the quesadilla back. She soon appeared with an appropriately grilled quesadilla. We all pretty much agreed the food was way too much plain beans and rice. With very little if any additional flavor. There was plenty of it, just not flavorful!! The salsa and sauces weren't much better. Over all our dishes seemed tasteless. However my granddaughter did like her quesadilla. read more

Hahahahahaha....this was a joke! LOL My husband and I are taco lovers and Taco Bell does a better job than here! We didn't have much choice since it was late so we thought it'd be ok to give Condado a try. Spicy hard shell tacos were TOO SALTY to taste anything else than shells.. And the staff who took our order got it wrong and gave us sour cream & pico in each box when we ordered hot sauce in each box. If you're satisfied with their food, God bless you but if you're a true taco levers..? Please drive one more mile and try Big Burrito's tacos. It's no comparison in my opinion. I'm sorry we can't do this again.. Condado Tacos, I know it's not your fault since you guys are a chain restaurant. I blame the higher leadership at your company for selling food this way. Everything tasted great! The margarita flight was a delight and every marg was full of flavor. I had prickly pear, mango, and white peach. Prickly pear was my favorite! The tacos were really amazing. I have never had a ranch flavored taco shell before and was a little worried mixing it with the other flavors. But my fears were out at ease and it was delicious! The roasted chicken was a little milder and the aioli sauce was a great finishing touch! I was warned the portabella mushrooms had a lot of spices so to be cautious with the other toppings in that taco. It was in my double decker and I did have a queso and cilantro onion, tomato. It was a perfect combination! We'd be back! The atmosphere was fun and airy, welcomed all and everyone. Kenzie was our server and she was up and down those stairs constantly, we never waited for her! I liked the vibes in this place! Colorful and energetic Food was ok for me. We ordered a nonalcohol drink and street corn appetizer (full portion) For a 9 $ (full portion) this was too small! And pricy ! The taste was ok-good but wasn't sure if they truly understand what is a ( full portion). When i asked what is the half portion, it seemed it is salsa cup portion. Not satisfying. The drink was ok as well, too sour , not sweet enough. Tasted like a lemonade without a sweetener. I asked them to add some sweetness to the drink but they did not know what to do and they don't have sweet syrup to add to drinks. We went here for a holiday taco and tequila break.:) Everyone loved it! We started with chips, salsa, queso, and guac. It was really good! Then we each tried at least two different tacos of the 30+ different varieties. From chicken, beef brisket, ground beef and some amazing sauces. Some were sweet, some were hot and spicy. All of it exceeded our expectations. I love trying new places. This is one worth returning to. The marguerites were great too. The House margarita was big and strong. Enjoyed a working lunch here today with coworkers, and everything was amazing from the vibrant decor to the yummy margaritas. We shared a chips and dips flight -- they've got a huge array of sauce options and we were thrilled with all of our choices, including in a latte corn dip, nacho sauce with chorizo, and pineapple guacamole. The house made chips were just the way I like them - Erie, crispy, it's just the right amount of oily, and just the right amount of salt. The only taco we ordered that didn't absolutely delight was the portobello mushroom one, which is served cold and seemed a bit slimy. Decided to brave the blizzard and come to their grand opening! I've never been to a Condado and it really is a ride for all your senses. Colorful, loud and exciting! The artwork is very eye catching and it's difficult not to look around and notice something new in some corner somewhere. They have these stairs that are very cool, but seem a bit precarious especially come winter time. We ordered Skywalker Nachos for the table and our first round of tacos. I ordered the Dutch Dragon (plant based), husband ordered their Braised + Confused (brisket) and my daughter ordered the Sweet Heat (brisket). They have a page of tacos that are their creations or you can have a creation of your own on the back page. You choose your "shell", then "stuff it" and then "top it". You can make your own taco, bowl or nachos. Only a few things to consider: some of the tacos come cold. Depending upon what you order, I was told some come out to the table cold. Also, difficult to differentiate between tacos once they touchdown to your table. Luckily all good...unless there is a specific meat you don't eat. Staff was very friendly and had a lot of energy. It was a bit loud...but that's the vibe they're trying to put out: you're at a taco party! Overall a fun experience and good food. read more

The atmosphere is cool and servers are quick, but for the prices, the tacos are disappointing. I'm excited to see Barrio come to Kzoo having been to the ones in Cleveland multiple times, and kind of expected a similar experience. The Three Buds is actually pretty huge - three full dips for $20 at happy hour, not bad. But they're just queso or guac with a tablespoon's worth of whatever makes the flavor unique scooped on top. After the first few chips, you have plain guac or queso. Both are ok, but not worth $20. The tacos are cold. Proteins and everything. I built my own (steak with flour + cilantro and onions + the cilantro sauce, then the peezler with pork, jicama slaw, corn, and chimichurri sauce) and my husband ordered three of their suggested tacos. It's clear that everything just sits back in the kitchen prepped without heaters. Flavor is just ok. When you're paying $5+ for a taco, you expect them to be unique, or at least...warm. Margs are pretty good! Probably won't be back. read more

When I got here, the first thing I noticed was just how colorful and vibrant this place was. The walls are littered with fun illustrations, and all along the bars and stairs you can find strips of RGB lights. Alternative music was playing through the speakers. Me and all my friends ordered a special limited time box that comes with 2 tacos and 1 sauce, all for $14. When we got the chips, they were actually kind of stale. This wasn't too much of a big deal, and it wasn't super obvious that they were stale. The tacos are really good! They can be a little spicy, but not too spicy. One thing that was different was that some of the tacos came in both a hard and soft shell. Something that came with our special boxes was a "Bud Buck". They give you a random surprise. I got $3 off my next purchase, while my friend got a $50 gift card. Overall, very fun place to eat at, with very good food. I may end up stopping in here again at sometime in the future. read more

They are part of a 30+-store chain out of Ohio that focuses on tacos, margaritas and tequila...if you want a burrito or enchiladas, go elsewhere. I tried the flight of mini margaritas (banana, strawberry, and blood orange) and would definitely have the blood orange again. We waited for them to settle in and then went for lunch on a Saturday. We were sat up in the upper area. A bit quieter and even more artwork to check out (and it was very cool that they highlight all the artists in the drink menu and give their social media info..what a great way to support). Our waitress was nice about recommending things. My husband wanted to try something different so he got the jalapeño margarita and it was quite tasty. Though if you are not into a bit of a spicy kick, I would not recommend it. It had lots of good heat for our tastes. We tried the trio of dips and like them and they were cool to try this first time but I probably won't get it again since it was more than the price of our entrees and just getting a small bowl of one kind of queso would have been fine. I would not recommend the quac. Just a bit flavorless. We both got the build your own bowls and they were delicious. The chicken is really good and my husband liked his lime steak. He got the chimichurri sauce and it was fresh, garlicky and good. I got the creama sauce and it had just the right amount of heat to add some flavor. Honestly everything had lots of good flavor, right down to the rice. The only weird thing was that our bowls came in like 2 minute and it took a while to get our dips. No big deal but felt like we were eating all of our entree before the "app" came. We will definitely be coming back. I am giving my review however keep in mind I went on opening day, and the place was a mad house! I will go back when they have been open a little longer for a more accurate review. Based on my review of opening day...they needed more practice and more soft opening before their grand opening. Our server was trying her best but she was not trained enough! I will start by saying that the our server stayed positive the entire time! Also, 2 I Of us ordered the brisket bowl and the meat was great. When I say she wasn't trained enough, let's start with the fact that I explained that I am not a tequila drinker, I get it that I am at a taco margarita restaurant but I asked for maybe a vodka drink suggestion, she had no clue about the drink menu, her only suggestion was that she could ask if they could do the "drink special" which was a classic margarita with vodka, (I had a mind bubble thinking to myself--barf --umm absolutely not). I ordered the cactus juice and had them add Tito's, it was tasty however they clearly didn't muddle and strain the fruits because I ended up with more seeds in my mouth than I care to count. My order came out and was completely wrong, I don't believe this was our server's fault, she showed us my correct order, so I think the runner brought out the wrong food or the kitchen made it wrong. I then ordered a bottled beer, she was not trained on the tablet or whatever they use to put the order in because after waiting 20 plus minutes I was told it was a draft beer, we pointed out that it was indeed available in bottle, I politely told her that it was ok, I would like it if I could get it, and box for the rest of my food in the next 5-10 minutes otherwise, please just bring the bill. She did replace my beer with the bottle I ordered. Kudos to our server for the positive attitude! Shame on management for opening to soon, they were not ready. Staff was not ready, i did not see management on the floor circulating and checking in with customers to see how things were. Management should have been hustling and assisting servers who needed assistance! Runners had no clue which tables food was going to. Overall, after I received my food, it was good, the meat in my bowl was wonderful, I will try again at some point. The lighting was very cool! And the decor was super fun! I suggest waiting at least a few weeks before trying out this place or perhaps you may get lucky and go when they are not slammed and you might find someone with better training. read more

The tacos had great flavor and they offer some interesting combinations of flavor beyond your standard Mexican food. The chips were disappointing, they were mostly broken pieces and had little to no salt. The street corn dip was just okay I wouldn't order it again. The table service was lackluster, they were not busy and I ended up having to ask for our bill after the waitress passed by several times and it was obvious we were finished.
