    Steak taco dinner

These might be the best steak tacos I have ever had, flavorful perfect, very reasonable prices. Very charming inside, definitely not a chain restaurant, the dining room is probably seen better years, but you're here for the food, and it delivers

We love Mi Pueblo! Great place for Taco Tuesdays and all other days. For $1.29 per taco it is hard to beat. We ordered too many tacos and two huge sides of beans and rice. Their beans and rice are absolutely delicious and would definitely make an amazing meal all on its own! We've gone to their taco bar weekend special in the past and truly enjoyed it. All the employees were very helpful and make sure you enjoyed your meal. Husband was curious about their carne asada so also ordered a quesadilla with carne asada as the meat choice. What do they do to make something so simple so, so delicious? We couldn't finish everything but we were truly satisfied with everything we ordered. This is a lovely family-owned business that deserves your time. Get there and you won't be disappointed.

Mexican style tacos are the BOMB, in my opinion and oh how I was craving them. Decided to check out Mi Pueblo, which is ALWAYS a hoppin' joint, to grab some fine tacos. The meal itself was large. My partner also order food and we ended up thinking we could have gotten away with one order and sharing but, instead, we just had some left overs! Now, I know I made a big deal on the tacos but, beans and rice are a must have for me at any Mexican restaurant I visit. Mi Pueblo beans and rice...I'd go back simply for a large container of each! Fantastic flavor and exactly what you'd expect. The beans weren't dry, the rice wasn't undercooked. Just perfection! Trust me. I'll be back!

Mi Pueblo has a special place in my heart. I use to each Taco Tuesday a lot when I first moved to Kalamazoo. I really enjoy their food! They are always busy and the reason why is because they are good! Definitely recommend getting the tacos Mexican style. The toppings are fresh and the meat is cooked great. It's not dry like most places. I don't normally like beans from Mexican restaurants but I love Mi Pueblo's. Which is saying a lot. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a new place to have good Mexican food. I have found it! First visit was lunch, I had a natural burrito, it was delicious. The chicken was tender and had a lovely smoky flavor. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Second visit was dinner the same day brought the wife. She said YUMM! We are looking forward to finding our new favorite Mexican dish on the menu here. The servers were friendly and came by often but but not to much.

What's better than a great taco bar? NOTHING! Well very little anyway, as I found out during my first visit to Mi Pueblo. My boss had recommended them previously as he is a frequent visitor and a confirmed fan. I admit I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to "authentic" Mexican food, but I know what I like. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed with the traditional, homey feeling interior. Reminded me of other small ethnic restaurants i'd visited in larger cities, in a good way. We were greeted and promptly seated. Of course we all opted for the all-you-can-eat taco buffet! Did I mention it was good? Listen, it was SO good that I completely forgot to take any pics of my taco creations, until I was at the counter to pay! SO I snapped a couple quick pics for the review LOL Back to the food.. the bar isn't huge but there were consistently at least 6 different types of meat dishes. I wish I was better at remembering the actual names of the dishes but you'll just have to take my word it. There were a couple chicken dishes, a couple pork dishes, something with chorizo & potatoes, ground beef, and a dish that consisted solely of pork fat and a delicious spicy sauce! I was told by another customer that dish was a traditional breakfast staple in their culture. It was SO good that I didn't even have the texture issues that I usually do with slimy foods. Mi Pueblo is a great lil spot for authentic Mexican food. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The interior is larger than it looks outside. Easy parking. Very economical! Highly recommended!

We love coming here! The staff is so nice and helpful. Our biggest challenge is not eating too much of the complimentary chips and salsa while we take our time drooling over the menu to decide what to eat! The portions are awesome for the prices, and since we have giant eyes and order too much, we get another meal out of it. This visit, my daughter and I shared the fiesta plate - which would have been plenty for the two of us - but she also had to have her favorite beans and rice (and I just had to have two chorizo tacos supreme!). My husband got Chile rellanos, which of course are better than what I can manage at home, and my son got the volcano burrito. Man, that was huge and Hot! Yum, yum!!

The staff are nice and help me figure out what I should order. We got the chips and salsa, which was delicious and freshly made, and a healthy portion. I got the Birria Ramen and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, especially with all the lime slices that came with it. There were grilled onions and a jalapeño that were so flavorful. Everyone at the table was moaning in delight. The portion was large enough for me to get 3 satiable meals from it. They provided chopsticks for it, which was surprising and also very appreciated! My partner got the wet burrito and ate every single morsel, which is kind of unique for them to do. The Al Pastor tacos were moist and seasoned to perfection and heavenly. The Birria tacos were one of the staff's favorites and it was my companion's first time trying it, needless to say, they will add that to their top 5 moving forward! I walked in there in a bad mood and walked out delighted! I was too full to try the ice cream but will be back weekly for more! The facility is clean and warm considering it was 12° outside. There is plenty of parking and it is accessible for handicapped!

The staff, one young lady was very friendly and very accommodating. She was great. You order at the counter and she brought out our food. Now to the food. It was delicious. I ended up getting the Grand Burrito (dry). There is a wet version too. It was BIG and heavy! It was filled with rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, onions and some delicious grilled chicken. You can get the chicken cold, but not my thing. I couldn't finish it and I was hungry! Oh the chips were good too. No salsa but they were tasty by themselves. The place is clean and has plenty of seating for 2 to 8 people depending on how busy it is. There appears there might also be outdoor seating as well, would be nice if it wasn't winter.
