Condado is a fun concept and different than your average taco spot. The inside of the restaurant has really cool art, many tables, and a cool bar. The taco menu is where they are interesting: you can create your own taco choosing from different shell, protein, filling and sauce options or choose from one of their premade creations. The tacos are big, so two filled me up. They also have draft beer and cocktails. Their margaritas are sweeter than my usual preference, but if that's your thing you'll love them! read more

This place is really cool. Love the artwork and overall vibe. They had a lot of delicious sounding margaritas even though we didn't try any I'll definitely go get some another time. One word of advice this is unique and I would almost call Southwest. The garden salsa is very fresh and you get why it's called garden salsa but it's not spicy at all. The tacos were really good. Update 7/19/25 Met some friends for dinner and I decided to make my own bowl. Lettuce, roasted chicken, fajita peppers and onions, cheese and queso. Very delicious!! It was zesty and spicy, yet really smooth. This will definitely be a favorite in the future. Service was once again awesome and this place is really clean and kept well organized. Loved the online reservation which included an option for an ADA table. And since one of our guests was in a wheelchair this made our dining experience that much better! My only concern is, as a Saturday evening, there wasn't a lot of people here considering the area and the great food and service. Hope this place is here for a while. read more

I love how customizable you can make your food here! I did a 3 dip appetizer with elote, smoky cheddar queso, and original guac and then got a shrimp, carne asada, and chicken taco. We came during nfl playoffs so it was busy but we could capture the Panthers breaking our hearts while at least enjoying food. What a fun atmosphere and delicious place to eat at. Truthfully, we happened to stumble on Condado Tacos for lunch. Honey actually was craving some burgers for lunch but after seeing a notice at that restaurant about the risks of food allergies, we opted to eat elsewhere and this was right across the parking lot. The entire area is filled with restaurants so there plenty to choose from. Very open spacious with funky fun wall paintings throughout though I didn't check the men's room - haha. Our waitress was very friendly and offered wonderful explanations as there were so many options. She was also training someone at the same time. I wasn't hungry to eat out since honestly I had made brunch right beforehand and was craving that since it was veggies-packed. So that slow roasted pulled pork with all those amazing toppings I had were absolutely delicious (gave details in that photo) with all the flavors. One of the tacos my hubby had ordered was lacking it's toppings, and they were quick to fix it when raised to their attention. There were other customers with couple of other tables filled but this being a midweek late lunch (1:30pm) time, it wasn't busy. The owner or manager who was working at a table in the corner, heard me wondering outloud as I walked past him, whether the artwork was for Halloween. He shared the different walls were painted by different artists. I should have asked when they opened but they were actually getting the details for what to bring to Fall for Greenville as they were going to be there. After a few posts I ran across on Facebook, I wanted to see the hype. Came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place was empty. Maybe like 3 tables of couples. It was early but no complaints. We were greeted while walking in the door and seated immediately. The decor inside is super colorful and modern. Nice to look around while you wait. Our server greeted us promptly and explained the menu to us as newbies. The apps are pre-made so you can't take out certain things so that was a bummer. Just about everything on the menu has a spicy label on it outside of maybe two tacos. Heads up, food comes out fast! Which was great. The chicken bacon ranch taco was enjoyed by my mom. The purple haze taco said it wasn't spicy and it definitely has a kick to it. Came in a hard shell inside and soft shell outside. Whatever sauce is put between the two tacos is spicy but also cold and overpowered the whole taco. Wasn't necessary pleasant. I can handle a little kick, but this was enough to grab the coke a few times between bites. Strawberry lemonade was not it at all. Didn't taste like neither strawberry nor lemonade. In town for work and decided that Taco Tuesday meant I needed to try this location out. I have been before to a location near home and really like that they embrace local by having area artists do the murals inside each location and to design the menus. Tacos are great no matter which location and I enjoy the seasonal options as well as the "secret" rewards menu choices too! I tried the Korean BBQ and Chicken Bacon Ranch this time and liked both. Half size Smoked Cheddar Queso & Chips was the perfect addition. Large Marge Classic Margaritas with the add in Pineapple flavor are the way to go! I mean why be mid when you can go large! So we have had take out from Condado, it was good. Thought it was time to take the kiddos to try them out in person. I had high hopes, but it was all for nothing. The host was super nice and inviting. The issue is we had a waiter/waitress that was missing in action. There were no hellos or give me a minute, just silence and complete isolation. Visiting Greenville, I normally eat at Yard House, but decided to try Conrad Tacos. Big mistake! This beautiful (outside view) building is deceiving! My sister and I walked in on a Saturday evening (8pm) and only two others tables were seated with 2 people at each. The waiter who came to seat us had cleaning supplies in her hand ( that was a good sign that at least they wipe down something, but I did not need the proof to be based on what she was holding). We're seated and a waiter come to get our beverage order, so I ask questions about the Tacos. She proceeds to tell me NOTHING IS AUTHENTIC- Whhaatt? Not even the flour or corn tortillas? Not even the chips??? We knew then we made a bad decision to stop in there. We order our beverages and our Tacos with a side of Traditional Guacamole as an appetizer. -Guacamole was okay. -Chips- Hard - Tacos- soft shell- horrible. The cheeses would not even melt. The plate was not even hot. The taste was blah. - Beverages: Blood Orange Margarita and Jalapeño Margarita- both two sweet! Bottom line: this place needs new management, a kitchen with staff that knows how to cook, and a clean-up crew, Waiters, and a bartender. Our waiter was also our bartender! Honestly, I had a couple bites and then asked for a to go lid. I was hoping that it would top my favorite bowl from Cuchos but it definitely did not . I would really have preferred to go to chipotle then to have this bowl from this restaurant. Sad panda. It was just missing something. Sour cream, queso or something. Maybe some adobo! Lol We also shared the nachos which surprised me that it had rice but it was good. The meat was delicious. I would say too much salsa and absolutely not enough cheese. NICO was our waiter. He was great. First time here. We weren't really waiting besides for 3-5 min. At first it was definitely a little over whelming for me! So many choices and selections and everything was so good but unfortunately I couldn't get EVERYTHING last night! I liked the inside graffiti and vibe to it. Staying in Greenville for a work project and drove by Condado tacos. On another day some of my colleagues craved tacos and I told them I had seen a place. This spot is super funky with graffiti art all over the walls. They staff was very welcoming and our waitress was very sweet in responding all our menu questions. The food was exceptional, and their strawberry yuzu margarita had me feeling emotions I haven't felt since fourth grade. The servers and food runners were working hard, which was evident by their exceptional tolerance of the middle-aged bleach blonde busted rat who sat next to our table. A stressed-out runner had accidentally spilled some sauce on the floor (no big deal), and for some reason this chopped and dusty broad, who has obviously never worked a day of customer service in her life, made the odd decision to scold him and complain to the manager. I guess she was having a rough time getting unwillingly cucked by her husband again, so of course some poor bystander had to pay for her husband's infidelity. I could hardly see her cheating husband's pupils; I was convinced they rolled to the back of his head and decided to stay there forever. The food runner remained professional and respectful as he dealt with her grating, agonizing voice. I had a headache by the end of the night because of her attitude. Anyways, I fought her in the parking lot and she lost. Apparently she was having a bad day, so I showed her an even worse day. Lesson learned: don't be a Karen and tip your waiters. We normally sit at the bar so we pulled up a chair and we're promptly ignored for the next 20 minutes- did I mention it was less than busy. Young bartender who took great effort to not make eye contact - it was actually sad. A table of eight asked a waitress if their order could be taken after waiting 45 minutes. "Terrifying tales" is right, without a doubt, the WORST tacos and nachos I have ever had. This is new-age "mexican" food made by someone who's obviously never eaten a taco. We were so surprised at how quickly the food came out, must be because they couldn't be bothered to heat anything? Food was ice cold, even the large plate of nachos, not a single warm bite. Eh. Truly that should be the extent of the review. It has potential with the concept and the build your own tacos, but there's a lot to be desired. The discrepancy between regular prices and happy hour is huge. The margaritas are overpriced. The chips for the guacamole and salsa are the thick, fried tortillas are overly crunchy and fill you up fast. Their $2 house salsa is bottomless, but so thin and watery that it should be bottomless. Finally- it wasn't busy and even sitting at the bar with just one other patron it took about 5 minutes to even get greeted because the bartender was also taking care of 3 tables in the dining area. We split a full side of the loaded tots and that was the standout - very good!!! My husband got the Korean bbq and the sweet heat tacos - he said he enjoyed both and really liked the double decker shell (hard shell inside soft shell). I ordered the blue dream and cali green tacos - both had good flavor but the cali green was by far my favorite. Loved the guac and cilantro lime aioli on it. The tortilla shells were good too. My only complaint is I wished they were warmer - the cheese on them wasn't melted at all and the taco itself just wasnt very warm. I understand that for the lettuce and sauces and toppings but just personally prefer the meat and cheese to be a bit warmer. However I did enjoy the flavors and variety a lot. Meh. I had higher hopes for this place based on the exterior and the fact that it always seems busy when I drive by on my way to Costco. The food was ok, not bad, but not great. The service was ok, not bad, not great. Overall, just a really lackluster experience. We asked to be seated outside & it seemed to visibly annoy the waitress. In her defense it did seem like she was maybe the only waitress working though, so I'm guessing she was feeling stressed out, but it's also pretty sad when the happiest the waitress seems is when you're leaving lol. The blue dream taco was actually SO GOOD and if the rest of our food was in line with that we would be having a very different discussion here. The ooey-gooey was ok, the chicken was dry, and the sauce was way spicer than I expected and I can usually handle some heat. My husband ordered the swole bowl, and it was pretty tasty but nothing out of this world, I'd say it's on par with chipotle. Next, my mother in law built her own nacho platter. This looked very impressive coming out, but she said the pork was dry and overall seemed unhappy. Lastly, we ordered a kids taco for the 4 year old, which was literally just shredded chicken and cheese in a tortilla. No produce or sides. I will say that she ate the whole thing though, so that's a good thing. We also ordered a side of black beans and rice. The beans were fine, but the rice was crusty on top and seemed like it was made in the microwave or something. Overall, I would definitely never go back & I could not recommend anyone else go here. We tried Condado Tacos a couple of weeks ago. We were seated immediately and given menus. The atmosphere is upbeat, with bright drawings covering the walls. We were told that a local artist did the work. It looks great! The music had a likable variety, and we could hear ourselves talking normally. We had Taylor as our waitress, and she is phenomenal. She explained the menu to us and gave us recommendations. She was cheerful and friendly while maintaining her professionalism. We ordered the street taco dip, which was delicious It was so fresh and plentiful. I ordered the Korean BBQ taco and the Blue Sky taco with dirty sauce on the side. My husband ordered the same but added a brisket taco in addition. They were all fresh and really good. We enjoyed our time so much, that we ate going for dinner there tonight. We stopped in for a bite before a movie in the same complex. This area has been hit or miss with a few different restaurants...but, if you're consistently good and offer something unique, especially with so many taco places from which to choose on Woodruff, you'll have a better chance of finding success. The restaurant itself is amazing with painted graffiti graphics on the walls. There's a huge bar and great music playing overhead. There's a nice patio. Service was quick and friendly. The original margaritas we ordered ($10.50) were delicious. What made Condado stand out for us was the crunchy shell inside the flour shell of the tacos we chose. I asked if this was the "signature" of all their tacos and was told no, just with some, and the crunchy shell can be different flavors. There was also a good bit of spice in each. The food came out superfast, which generally isn't the indication that everything is made fresh. Considering the light crowds, freshly made might be an option for them. For three tacos and two margaritas it was $42. A quick and pricey meal that could have been a little better if happy hour is extended to 7:00.
