This place is fantastic! It is a supermarket oriented to the Mexican/Hispanic community which means it has a great selection of items one would find in the supermarket for Mexican or Latin American recipes. My first visit here was to find corn husks and masa flour for homemade tamales. Upon entering the store, it was as if I had transported to Mexico, the music, the goods, everything was just as if I had stepped south of the border. I had bought tamales at Costco and one of my sons friends came over, his family is first generation Mexican. He felt sorry for me after I served him a Costco tamale so his mother made me a bag full of homemade tamales. Wow, no comparison. I did find what I needed and at an affordable price, but they also have a full butcher shop, produce section, frozen and dry goods sections. The butcher shop has pre-marinated, chopped meat for taco's al pastor among other fresh items. I bought some of that too, just toss it in the frying pan to cook it up and serve with corn tortillas and fixings and your friends think you are an awesome Mexican chef. However, they also opened a taqueria, the pictures on the menu are attached. Ordering can present a language barrier, but you can work it out. The portions are generous, the food is authentic beyond comparison anywhere else I have found in Greenville. There are only a few tables. You order in the back of the restaurant, eat, and then you just pay at the front counter of the grocery store as you leave. I had the Tacos Al Pastor and this was a serving of 4 tacos fresh made from the griddle, as in cooked to order. Excellent! This is a really fun and fascinating place to just visit and browse for ideas on something to cook at home. I like to bring the family because it is free to shop and it feels like you have stepped into a time/space portal and gone from Greenville to Tijuana or something like that.

Al pastor.....yum....these burritos are huge and amazing!

This place is a hidden gem for some authentic Mexican food. The tacos are amazing as well as the tamales which are get them fast because they sell put early!

    Sopes al pastor.

This place is my pick for the best restaurant in Mauldin. Admittedly that's not a high bar, but if you're looking for authentic, affordable, fresh Mexican food, look no further. The sopes are my favorite. The pastor is flavorful and salty and the homemade salsa is spicy and delicious. My preschool-aged children love the carnitas quesadilla with rice and beans, and who can resist empanadas or fried plantains? You may have to ask at the register for help ordering because the cooks don't speak much English. But give it a try - I guarantee you'll be back.

Nobody smiling and lifeless. I drive by this place about 4 time a day and I absolutely refused to do business here from this experience. After many years, I gave this place another try. To my surprise it was a night and day difference from the first time I walked through the doors. A young lady at the entrance greeting you with a some samples and a big smile. Walked passed the bakery section and heard a very loud "how are you doing today". I almost passed out from someone actually speaking to me. I was in shock. This isn't the same place I visited when it first opened. I look around and see employees smiling and wanting to be there. In the distance I heard laughing coming from the deli and meat department. When I walked up, I was immediately greeted with a smile and asked if I needed any help. They were still in tears laughing by the way which was a nice feeling. So in a nut shell, this is what I think about Sprouts now. Great selection of products. The people are very nice. The Manager's Specials they have are amazing. I saw they had Rotisserie chicken for $.99 and some ham at the deli for $.50/lb. I'm a customer for life now and when I'm done shopping I go next door to Kairo's for a bite to eat.

They have an array of small Happy Cow ice cream flavors! We browsed through all the canned jars from a Pelzer Company (I can't quite recall). They even have woodwork pieces perfect for a home bar or new neighbor. (Bottle opener on wood) Daughter found this gem and was tickled it had the temperature to properly cook squirrel. Fortunately, staff informed us they DON'T sell squirrels. (Maybe next time) The meat case had much to choose from to include seafood. (Unless my memory is playing tricks on me) They even had an ARMADILLO EGG! Needless to say I bought one. I can't wait to try that bacon goodness! The pork I was looking for was freshly ground and was perfect for my chorizo recipe. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They welcome you and are happy to help. There is plenty of parking and the line moves quickly. Overall a great experience and worth the 30 minute drive when combined with other Simpsonville shops.

We are Central Coast California (Santa Maria Tri Tip land) transplants and we love our grilled tri tip. We also picked up some marinated carne asada and chicken. I'm heading in today to grab some tallow for frying and of course another tri tip! Do yourself a favor and stop here for all of your summer grilling needs! Almost forgot the staff was so friendly and helpful. Even grabbed a marinade used on the carne asada to let me know what was in it. Top notch service all the way around. They also cater to the semi-prepared, frozen meals (as in minimal cooking required) selections but do have good organic fresh meats as well as an excellent fresh produce department. This is the kind of store where you could do all of your shopping, but many come here for certain items. Also, did I mention the affordable wine (Charles Shaw, aka "Two Buck Chuck")? But it's not $2 anymore, still a good deal. Customer service is ample, helpful and fun/upbeat. Ring the bell for recognition of excellent service. Ambiance is casual, but "fresh" with a lot of items and specialty items in a smaller space. They do this by mostly carrying only their own store brands, which are typically unique and higher end of quality and value.
