Asada Tacos

Had a wonderful time here for lunch! They had a live mariachi band, which is so cool. I've never seen that before! Their salsa bar was full of options wish they had larger receptacles than just the tiny sauce cups. Food came out incredibly. Swear it was less than 5 minutes from when we ordered to when our food arrived. Chips are bit too hard for my taste.

We've been going here for years and while it's still a good location. The food quality has gone down in recent years. I love the salsa bar options, they are always fresh and options for every taste. Beer is great, I got the medium which was a huge size! Here are a few issues we had however. The kids meal chicken tenders is a flattened chicken breast that's just cut up. The chicken is so thin it's not worth eating. I chose the combination of enchilada, tamale, and taco. The beef in the taco was seasoned really well but the overwhelming amount of lettuce was overkill. No cheese was added which it was suppose to come with. The tamale was one of the worst I've had in the area and sadly the enchilada wasn't much better. Food for the cost was just not worth it and given there are so many Mexican restaurants in the area we will likely not be back. There are too many other places that offer better food to keep coming back here.

I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco and have frijoles, tequila and salsa picante pumping through my veins. To say I was disappointed with the experience and food is keeping it PC. Never have I had "pescado a la diaba" served as a soup. My wife's taco salad was legit mush. The waiter spilled hot juice from my fish onto my mother in laws lap and arm and didn't even apologize. I will not be coming back but Pics are worth a 1,000 words... You guys decide.

While it's nice that the bean dip is complimentary, this was completely inedible and mostly solid. We have been regulars here for years. In the last several months the service is just terrible! Our server didn't acknowledge us for about ten minutes. My order came incorrect and I politely told the lady who brought the other two meals separately, and she was very rude. It took 10 minutes for another plate (the SAME PLATE) to be brought out to me, when I again explained that it was incorrect. Another 10 minutes later and everyone is done eating when I finally get my meal. During this time the sever asked if we wanted more chips and we said yes please. She walked past our table another 5-6 times when we finally asked for more. She brought them as soon as we were finished eating. Oh and no water refills. We gave this place one last shot as we had an even worse experience last time we came. They brought the same incorrect plate to me (shredded beef, not ground beef- not like it's a complicated request) and she left it at the table for our whole meal. Someone ended up eating it so it didn't go to waste and she said she would have to charge us for it. Thankfully they took it off the bill, but the waitress was so incredibly rude.

We have been coming to this location lately because we have a small baby and they don't mind seating you on their patio. They do a good job here every time. Salsas are all consistently good and the pollo loco and carne asada have been excellent.

We visited last night and had Henry as our server. We've had Tavola on our list for a while and it…read moredid not disappoint! We started with the focaccia, meatballs, and autumn vegetable panzanella. The focaccia is a must try! For entrees we got the Campanelle with pork ragu, spaghetti carbonara, and potato gnocchi. The kids enjoyed the kids' pizza and a marinara pasta. We finished with tiramisu to share. Everything was excellent. Bridgeway Station is beautiful and the decor in Tavola is beautiful! We will definitely be back soon with more family.

PROS: - Food quality and authenticity…read more- Server hospitality CONS: - Crowded seating - Hostess efficiency - Wait time Tavola starts with a plot twist: an 8:00 reservation that magically becomes 8:15 thanks to a hostess who apparently ghosted our existence. Not exactly la dolce vita. Thankfully, carbs save the day. Everything was house made. The handmade pasta was made with flour flown in from Italy! I had the casarecce which had light and well-balanced bacon and lemon flavors. My date had the the "whole" branzino, which despite described as "whole" came already de-boned and without the head. It was crispy, golden, and serving main character energy with its unique presentation. Frutti di mare was... there. I didn't think the flavors were anything to write home from Italy about. Though, the presentation was impeccable, I must admit. Whitney, our server, deserves a standing ovation! She was part waitress, part Italian food narrator, and made every dish sound like it had a backstory which honestly just elevates the whole experience. And the lemon cheesecake is worth saving room for. Flavors were bright, dreamy, and worth every calorie. My only regret is skipping the house-made focaccia.
