I'm only sharing my personal experience. After reading some of the negative reviews here, I felt it was important to say this. First off, Tim (the owner) and his foreman, Caesar, are top-notch. Tim always responded quickly to my text messages about the job and any concerns I may have had. I've had my driveway redone five times since moving into this house in 2008, and this crew has been the most professional and eager to make sure I was happy. Day one, they pressure-washed all the old paint off. Day two, they started applying the color. Each time they added a layer, I went out to check how it looked until I was fully satisfied. That night, I noticed a few small spots in different lighting that needed touching up, so the next morning...before they applied the polyurethane; I showed Caesar what I wanted fixed. He was very accommodating and genuinely wanted me to be happy with the final result. They protected all the areas around the job space with tape and paper, neatly pushed back all the rock around from the cement they were working on, sweeped and cleaned up maticusly all the paint chips from pressure washing the driveway. I didn't have to do a thing in regards to clean up after they left. Also, another tip, when you have this kind of work done, the sun here in Vegas kills the color on the driveway. Tim advised me to have the polyurethane reapplied every 2-3 years to extend the life color. I never knew that was even an option! My advice for anyone hiring them is to stay involved in the process. They can't read your mind, so if something doesn't look right, speak up while they're still there. It's much easier to adjust things in the moment than after the job is complete. As a business owner, Tim has to manage both quality and time, so your feedback during the project helps him deliver the best results efficiently. To say the least, I'm beyond please with their work and professionalism throughout the job. In addition, the price was more than fair! They are the ones I will call from now on for this kind of work! ZERO stars!!!! Don't use!!! They replaced our entire deck of our pool. We had multiple areas of failure in the first year and were told this was because we have a salt pool. This was brought up at initial consultation, if your material will fail with salt this should be discussed. They would patch a few spots but said they would not do anything else. I have just started to pick up the areas that are failing and it is insane!!! There is so much debris under the coating they did it is obvious they did not properly prepare the concrete. There is a ton of dust of the old color so clearly was not cleaned or prepared properly and nothing to do with salt pool. Notice the areas that failed the most are not right at the pool edge. They replaced the drains and those have all lifted as well. This is less than 4 years old I am working on repairs myself as it will clearly be better than what they did. So disappointing to spend this kind of money and their warranty completely based on their opinion. My old deck that was over 15 years old had a few very small spots so I decided to redo the deck because I wanted to change colors, what a mistake. I wish I would've kept the prior deck and repaired the small spots and painted it. What a horrible experience. read more

We had to refer vendor to the contractors board of Nevada . Poor workman ship and issues with deck almost right away , from chipping , fadding and deffective water drainage stip . My father had them come out to resurface the pool and sanded the rocks that are built into the pool and they sanded the deck outside of the pool. My father is elderly and in the contract it said that the customer is responsible for cleanup. He could not do that because of a disability. They also sanded the edges of the steps which doesn't make any sense at all. It looks worse now than when they started the work. My father called them. They backpedaled and offered to come out and clean it, but at this point my father doesn't want them around and the pool guy offered to clean it for free. Not good work! read more

These guys are a joke. I had the spot touch up resurface my pool deck. First they said that they apply 2 coats of pool Deck paint. On the day, they rolled paint one direction and then immediately perpendicular to it and called that 2 coats. Next, I found several areas missed and called them to come correct, they would never return my calls nor send anyone out to check on it. I have been trying to call these guys for over a year with no return calls or anything. Now my deck is starting to lift up again in the areas they "repaired". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I first used Tim and his company Concrete Texturing 2 years ago to do the decking around my pool....I was tired of the same old paint look and they suggested this mottled sand look which really came out FABULOUS!! Best look for me.... Now 2 years later I had to have some pipe work done around the pool and it needs to be touched up so Tim came back out, assessed what had to be done and I am pleased that they will be doing the work again for me in late Aug... Consumers beware that they are suggesting using caulking materials to repair concrete defects !!!! This suggestion reflects the lack of onsite supervision and lack of experience in working with pool deck. They are not licensed in pouring concrete. Their subcontractor removed my skimmer to breakup the old concrete then they reinstalled the skimmer with poor workmanship leaving a gap around the skimmer Other contractors would have fixed defects promptly and be paid in full. Their own worker told me that they knew how to patch it but did not have the materials with him. That was a few weeks ago and he never came back. read more

I used this company to resurface my backyard patio and pool deck. The prior owner did stamped concrete around the pool but without any cool decking! Your feet would burn something awful getting out of the pool and the paint they applied to the patio was so slippery myself and guest would slip, slide and nearly fall it was insane. Not to mention the DIY job was peeling and looked awful. Called this company for pricing they scheduled quickly for a free consult, provided a price right away, kept in touch with me and I selected them to complete the work needed. Has anyone gone to the contractor's board and was able to recover damages from what they did to your project? It's been 3 months, the damage hasn't been fixed, and they are dragging it out. Just for your information don't be fooled by local businesses advertising in HOME CONCEPTS and THE HOME MAG . I and my neighbors have found a lot of businesses who use these magazines. They are not living up to the magazine standards. This has no reflections on the magazine, but if you can afford the advertisement you can look like a legit company. Surface cannot take any outside daily wear, as you can see from the pictures. Drop something on the concrete surface it chips like fine china. Drag a box over the surface and the staples peel it up. I was supposed to get a quote for my backyard to have concrete put down. 1 st I had to call twice for someone to even come to my house. Tim finally was scheduled. Tim gets to my house and pretty much tells me that he does not do backyards like mine. I have about .15 acres of back yard. I told him I could draw it out and he said no. And that he would refer me to someone else. He was rude, late, and not helpful. I don't recommend going with this company. Also I explained to the girl I spoke to on the phone what I wanted and she said that's exactly what they do. Tim obviously does not do decking for the size of yard I have. Roger from Concrete Texturing initially came to my house approximately 3 weeks ago late for the appointment without calling me and wrote up an estimate assuring me "they could do it and it would look great ." A few days later on May 13, I received the bid and approved it wholly based on Roger's assurances and the cost of repairs I went forward and hired this company to repair my rocks surrounding my pool and waterfall. We waited 3 weeks to get this done and drained the pool on the 3rd of June in expectation of starting the job on the 4th. They called and said they could not start the job until the 5th due to an overrun from another job. I understood and was given an $85 reduction in price. Today June 5 they started the job and then abandoned the job after causing more damage to my rocks and waterfall feature with their pressure washer. Tim the owner stated it's more than I thought and I can't do it! How nice! This is how they do business so beware before you hire them! His attitude was less then satisfactory and stated "go ahead call the contractors board they will agree with me anyway. " We shall see. Apparently Tim hasn't heard of Breach of Contract! I will report the BBB as well. Consumers need to know what their up against! Your comment to my post is indicative of your lack of business ethics and integrity! Your own salesman "Roger" came to my house and saw the condition of the rocks! You flat out lied in your response and you know it! I did not hide anything from you! It's amazing how you remain in business but I'm actually thankful you beached your contract with me. Your reputation in the industry is horrible! Substandard Workmanship and poor customer satisfaction are prevalent in many of your reviews by many of your customers! The workers had to come back 4 times because they would miss huge patches of epoxy, one time there were tiny bits of bark stuck all under the epoxy, then tiny roller hairs stuck under. concrete texturing proposal, dated 1/26/21, states; concrete texturing gives a "2 year warranty" and also states; "....there are many different grades of sealants and we (concrete texturing), believed the sealant used was a lower grade".... this being said, i agreed and accepted the concrete texturing proposal to have the work done. not knowing it would only end up looking the same after only 7 months.  start date was in march 2021. main problem, i was never told by concrete texturing company it would "not" correct the previous problems, but only; "many different grades of sealants and concrete texturing company believed "the sealant used, was a lower grade and concrete texturing company would give a "2 year warranty", if i was to have the decks & walkways redone! ! ! read more

We had stained concrete inside our home done by concrete texturing. What a Joke. The job they did was awful! Matthew assured us he'd be the one doing it, he was no where to be found, after they left there were dried puddles of where the epoxy was dripped and then never spread around. There were giant pieces of debris stuck under the hardened epoxy and some spots were missed completely, with no epoxy what so ever!! Called to explain the issues, matthew again said he'd come out and fix it. They did nothing except make it worse if that's even possible. This time left with debris stuck underneath as well as giant roller hairs and missing patches!! To top it off... it has started to bubble uncontrollably. My husband and I hired Concrete Texturing to resurface our pool concrete. I paid half of the money when they finished the job. I called them to come back a few days later because the surface was starting to scratch. I'm glad I hadn't paid all of the money upfront. They came back and fixed it. We let it dry for 48 hours, and I sent in the remainder of the owed amount. Within days it is scratched again. I called a third time to ask to speak to a manager. The manager never spoke to me directly despite my request to talk to him. My message was delivered to him and the office assistant told me he said my dogs are to blame for the scratches, and he offered via the office assistant to bring a can of touch up paint for us to have on hand. I can't get a manager to speak with me, and I am not at all satisfied with the job. This is not to fault of the dogs as it is scratching in places where you put furniture. You can't sit in a chair on the patio without a scratch appearing. I never had this problem with the old patio surface. *Spoke to the owner, and he is sending someone to correct the issue. Once this is resolved I will update my review. *16 days later, and they have not been out to correct the patio as I was promised they would do when they had the time. read more

We purchased our home a few years ago knowing that the cool deck/patio would require some work. As you'll see in the before and after photos, the water/sun damage really took its toll on the concrete areas around the pool.
