Absolutely amazing company!! We hired a plumber to install a new faucet; however, he broke our granite in 2 different places attempting to remove the old faucet. He told us he couldn't do anything to help us until we find someone to fix the granite that he broke. We called several companies and were told that our job is too small or they are too busy to get to us. Shout out to Tubby's Tub and Tile who text me and said they can't do the repair but suggested that I call Nevada Marble Restoration. I called and left a message this morning and within 10 minutes they actually called back and spoke to my husband! 12/3/2020 update So we learned that we had a few marble tiles that were loose which was causing the grout to chip off. Ben and Cynthia came out and assessed the situation and came up with a solution for us. Basically they said they'd send over the wonder team (Richard and Miguel) to inject a glue into the crevice and then lay the grout on top of it to help the loose tiles. They were so nice and my husband and I just appreciate their willingness to help us come up with a solution. Richard and Miguel came today to fix everything and they were amazing as usual. I just wanted to give this company our thanks for this level of customer service. I haven't written a review in a long time, but I had to for a company as fantastic as this one. Cynthia and her husband came out to look at our quartz stains nearly immediately after our inquiry. They were cautiously optimistic and we had looked up on YouTube all sorts of tips and tricks, with really no luck at all. We had contacted so many different companies and none of them wanted to do a job like ours. They didn't promise they could get rid of these stubborn quartz stains, and set our expectations at about 50% improvement. Let me tell you, you couldn't even tell they ever existed. Really! It was restored like new, and we are thrilled about that. Also, after they had come out, we noticed a crack all the way through another slab. They came out quickly, even when we kept on changing our appointment time with them (yes we were difficult) and they were so professional and accommodating. We expected an okay job, because we've had a crack before that our builder came to repair. Let me tell you, they should've hired these guys. In fact, I would've GLADLY paid money out of pocket for these guys because you can clearly SEE the builder repaired crack. And I CAN'T see the repair by these guys. It was restored to 100%. When you buy a house they don't really tell you how clean certain materials, how often, etc. We lived in our home for 7 years before we got our marble shower cleaned, polished and sealed. Nevada Marble Restoration was awesome. They came in and rolled the clock back on our shower. The tiles felt like sandpaper and now feel like smooth soft marble. I honestly thought they would clean up a bit but not to the point they did. It's better than new. We have had them out a second time after a year and they did an amazing job again. This time we had them do the countertops as well since there were some water spots and rings. Again it looks brand new. He wore a mask and booties into my house. I even noticed that he took them off (his booties) when going to his truck for supplies and then put them back on when coming back inside which may sound like something stupid to notice but so many put them on and then don't take them off to go outside which defeats the purpose of them. We hired a contractor to install black marble throughout the master bathroom floors and walls. They did a crappy job with the installation and caused damages to all of the black marble throughout. There was scratches everywhere and circular marks from the rigid self leveling spacers used. What a mess!! We contacted Ben from Nevada Marble Restoration and he gave me a fair price. He was awesome and he also included a military discount to my estimate. His team of guys were able to polish my black marble tiles to a glossy shine. I am late writing this review b/c I just (finally) got a yelp acct. Anywho, I moved into a house with about 1,000 sq ft of marble. It had dulled over time, had some scratches and etched areas, and had dozens of coats of polish from the former owner. I contacted 5 companies for quotes. One never returned my call; one never showed up; and the three quotes I got to hone and polish ranged from $750 to $2,500!! I didn't trust the lowest quote for a number of reasons. Ben's quote was very competitive and I really liked his honest, knowledgeable approach. Also, Ben/NMR was the only contractor of the ones I spoke to that was licensed! I was very, very happy with the end result. That work was done in early March 2015 and I have included a couple of pictures I took of my dinette area at the time. A couple of months later, I decided to install travertine in my dining room and living room. My tile installers admired the polishing job that Nevada Marble Restoration did, asked me what I was charged, and remarked that it was an excellent job at a good price. Since the new tile I had installed was honed, and I prefer a polished finish, I hired NMR again, this time to polish and seal my new floors. Gorgeous! I have attached photos of the polished DR and LR as well. Ben and his assistant were on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up after themselves for both jobs. Nevada Marable Restoration exceeded out expectation!! We had a new kitchen designed and installed with quartzite stone countertops/island. The company that did the fabrication & install was a nightmare for us! They were not one bit sorry or concern. Their "repair work" did little to improve their horrible workmanship. Choosing not to have them return again, since it was apparent they didn't care, we found Nevada Marable Restoration and WOW, they exceeded out expectation of what the outcome could be. Richard made the repairs how the workmanship should have been done at fabrication install. Took such pride in what he does and enjoys doing it. Now when we look at the areas, the worse in front of the stovetop and stuck out like a sore thumb, you do not notice them at all. I contacted Nevada Marble via their website one night and got a text from Ben early the next morning asking for photos. I then scheduled an appointment to have Ben remove and replace the grout in both of my bathrooms. Upon arrival Ben informed me that the contractor I had used 6 months prior had not installed my tile correctly and the grout was cracking because they did not install a cement board underneath causing the tiles to be uneven and shift. Ben recommended that my bathrooms needed to be completely redone and recommended I file a complaint against my former contractor using the contractors board. They then texted me the direct website link I could use to do this. Although I was not able to use Nevada Marble today because my flooring problems now have to go through the contractors board, I am grateful to encounter such honesty and customer service. We had a few rough spots in our granite kitchen counters. I got a bid from one contractor who said it needed to be polished and filled and strong chemicals would be involved. They said it would take 4 hours and cost $800. This didn't seem quite right to me considering the granite looked pretty good overall. I called Nevada Marble Restoration and sent Ben some photos of our counter. Turns out Ben has the same granite in his home and said no problem, the charge would be $225. We set an appointment, he was on-time, friendly, professional, and completed the repairs in about one hour. He charged me less than his quote because he said the counters really weren't bad at all. Highly Recommended! I had an accident with a Marble pastry board that belonged to my Grandmother. A large portion of the corner was broken off of the board from being dropped. I emailed, called , and searched the web for anyone who could help me and at least try to put it back together. The ONLY company that even bothered to take 2 minutes out of thier day to return a text and email was Ben at Nevada Marble Restoration. I asked for a quote based off of a picture that I texted to him, he then quoted me a price based off the picture. I agreed, took the board to them. Ben explained, up front, his best guess as to how it would turn out. After fixing the board on the same day he promised, he then proceeded to adjust the price accordingly, it UNDER what originally quoted me, with the explanation of how it not as large of a job as to what he anticipated. The board turned out as good as can be expected and he chose not to RIP me off. His wife Cindy was very pleasant to deal with, I'm assuming she is his office manager? But, what a AWESOME bunch of people to go to for help with such a sensitive issue as a "family heirloom" if you will... and to have the Integrity and Honesty, along with the craftsmanship.... if I ever run into another issue that involves possibly using these guys? Ben and his team were wonderful in the work they did on sealing my porcelain tile grout and sealing the granite countertops. It was all done over less than 1 day, and everything came out beautiful. Ben left two different types of cleaning product after the work was done and explained how to use them to keep my granite looking nice and shiny. Ben, from Nevada Marble Restoration, did a great job restoring my granite countertops and made them look brand new. First, Ben lightened up a very large dark water stain and blended it in so the area looks like a natural part of the granite countertop. Second, Ben filled in a hole about the size of a dime in my granite countertop; then he smoothed out the area so it looks like a natural part of the granite countertop. The smoothed out area feels like the rest of the countertop. When looking at the area, and feeling the area, I could not tell where the hole was. Third, Ben cleaned, restored, and sealed my granite countertops. Ben took out all the rough spots; and made my granite countertops shiny, smooth, and look brand new. I was so exciting when I found an experienced team to do my floors and bathrooms. I was even willing to pay $800 for his crew to overnight 4 nights since our home is 100 miles from Vegas. However, once the job was started, he and his crew left 3 days early. Half his crew showed up, for the two days they did do work, at 10am and 11am and left at 5pm. Even after I paid for a hotel in my town. The way Ben delegated the work and because he showed up so late, many steps were done out of sequence. Even if we wanted to follow up on his daily work, it was done so hap hazard, we could not follow even if we wanted to. This job cost over $7,000 and I can tell you three days is not enough time to properly complete a 5,000 square foot house full of marble with 6 marble bathrooms. He assured us , it was done. On a 10 minute walk through it appeared completed, with many areas looking sloppy, but we had our doubts. I did request some last minute corrections, but Ben was set on leaving regardless of how things were left. Once I started cleaning, because it was left filthy. I found out none of the hand work to my floors was done and parts of my showers and bath tub were not done top to bottom. The floor around the toilets and the floor under the floating cabinets was not done because the big polisher/grinder could not reach those areas. Clearly, I paid for these areas to be done. This business is big on talk, short on follow through. If they do work for you, make sure you ask for a detail explanation of what is done each day. If you have doubts, don't make the mistake I did and pay them in full. They will not come back and make things right. read more
