Would your company be able to refinish a stamped concrete patio we had installed 10 years ago? The sealant / stain is badly pocked and only looks good when it is wet. TIA

There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

They did not try to enlarge the project beyond my requested size and needs, and they handled all the permits, inspections, and such. They brought down my grill and fire pit from the old deck, removed and disposed of my old picnic table and umbrella at no extra charge, and brought the grill and fire pit back up when the deck was done. The new deck is beautiful: Trex Transcends composite decking in Tiki Torch with a black railing and Tiki Torch cocktail rail, matching 52" wide steps with lights as required by code, and sturdy wood frame below the deck. They started sooner than required in the contract, and while the build took on the longer side due to the July heat, they finished before the contract start date. Many neighbors have admired the deck and even expressed jealousy. I would recommend Pro Deck Installers to anyone.

I usually do the design for all house projects, but Pro Deck (Gerry) came up with a super elegant design for me and he also actually came up with the best design out of all, while three of the other contractors either ignored or forgot my requirements and gave a single quote or partial quotes for 3-4 options discussed. Gerry is meticulous with the quote he provided, and the details were relevant in comparison to the others I received. ProDeck Installers will work with you to address your HOA headaches and shenanigans, which I had with offset measurements and approvals, etc and will do the work for the county permit. One of the other contractors that gave the lowest quote said to me "you don't need a permit" - beware! Pro Deck Installers' price is very competitive, but for the quality of the materials I was getting, it was really the best deal. As for the work getting done, again quality and timeliness was top notch. Tony and their guys are very efficient, professional and they care about the work they do. For so long I put off getting a new deck because of all the hassle that comes with it, but the experience I had with them really exceeded my expectations. The ProDeck Installers team is just truly genuine and honest in how they do business and I'm grateful for them.

There was no upselling, and they actually suggested against some additional options we had initially been interested in. Communication was excellent throughout the project--Kim let us know what step they were working on before construction began and gave timelines. The construction crew, led by Carlos--were incredible hard-working, efficient, and very respectful. They came in every day and worked diligently to create a gorgeous deck that we love! Carlos would touch base whenever there was anything he wanted to alter and would get our opinion and go-ahead. We would 100% recommend this company to anyone!

The process started in March and was completed in September on time, on budget and according to plan. Work days were sunny and mostly dry, so there were no weather delays. At the start, Daren provided great info and listened carefully to our requests. Todd guided us through the planning process and helped us select materials. Next Kim, the project manager kept all the steps coordinated by email and responded to our many questions. On site, Ben the crew chief ensured that the porch was beautifully crafted. We have an old house with non-standard dimensions, which were all accommodated. The work crews stayed on site throughout with no gaps and worked with intensity. We have a large yard, but it is full of trees, bushes and flower pots. The work crew managed to squeeze in all their tools and materials to get things done. Materials are of great quality, ordered exactly to the need, with little waste and an eye to ecology. The great subcontractors included the electricians, a handyman who took care of pre-construction items like the hose bib, and the roofer/gutter team. They all showed up on time and completed their part quickly. Finally, the patio was put together by Colin and Luis in two days. Laura carefully coordinated all the online billing. CORE was upfront about extra costs including a required county survey, power upgrade for the heaters, and a patio foundation. CORE has a distinctive porch style and an efficient operating method. They work with you to meet your project needs with their style. What appears on their web page appears in reality.

He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work. I felt compelled to pay him extra. Deck Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELQYf0YGKY
