I had a failed blood draw today. The phlebotomist could not…read moreinsert the needle into my vein correctly. He was literally man-handling my forearm to force blood to spurt into the tube. After 4 vials of this I broke out in a sweat and felt dizzy and nausiated. Another phlebotomist came to fan me, which was not helpful in anyway, then gaslit me saying this sometimes happens...like this was my fault, or my body's fault. This had NEVER happened to me in ANY of my prior draws. I tried to go to the bathroom to vomit, only to collapse in the restroom. After I got out I became wobbly and delirious and started to collapse into objects in the facility. Very bad experience here.

Especially during the holidays and diseases starts spreading, I wouldn't go again or recommend this service. There are other places where you pay for fast results and would recommend this route esp when keeping your loved ones safe and preventing them for ending up in the hospital.

When I entered the building, I thought I was in the wrong place. Whoa! This is too nice to be a medical facility. The hallways are lined with beautiful mahogany wood and the floors are marble. It looked more like a fancy hotel. I checked the directory to make sure I was at the correct place. I was, so I proceeded to the suite where Quest is located. Inside, it looked like your typical testing center. Nothing fancy. Just a few chairs and a kiosk where you check in. I only had a 5-minute wait before being called in. Edwardo was friendly and polite and took a few vials of blood. Shortly after, I was on my way back to work. Even though they take walk ins I suggest making an appointment online. It's convenient and you're in and out quickly.

Not only is she an excellent lab tech, she is gentle, kind, sweet, compassionate and extremely patient. My Dr's office made mistakes with my lab orders but Crystal went above & beyond today with me and all the wasted time we spent together trying to contact & get though on the phone to my Dr's office. Crystal even stayed well-past her lunch break to assist me as we attempted to contact my Dr's office several times to resolve their mistakes; before they were gone for their lunch break, which would of required me to comeback after 1pm or reschedule for another day. My appointment was @11:40am and I checked in @11:30 and was seen 5 minutes early. Had my Dr's office staff & nurses done their job properly, I would of been out of there in 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't get out of there until 12:15pm. But Crystal didn't mind working through her lunch break because all she was concerned about was solving the problem and providing me with an exceptional experience. No other Quest Lab location I know of would of cared as much and sent me on my way @12pm on the dot without providing services nor would they have excelled & shined like Crystal did today. If you don't want to waste time, use Labcorp instead…read more I picked up a sample kit and when I made the appt it didn't prompt that I'd need an appointment for dropoff too. They will NOT take your sample unless you just wait, even with an empty waiting room. 45 minutes that I didn't have. With an empty waiting room! Labcorp label all your samples at pickup, so dropoff is easy and quick. Note - The staff member there seemed very nice. It's just a stupid process. I hope it helps their workflow, because it's awful for customers. Update: I had to make an appt at another location 2 days later. In and out in 3 minutes. 3 MINUTES! Quest made me wait 2 more days and take a 60 min round trip to save themselves 3 minutes...

Absolutely despise this LabCorp location. Parking alone…read moremakes the experience miserable. There's basically no street parking because most of the surrounding residential area is permit only, so you end up having to use their parking structure and pay (I paid $7. I was there 5 mins max). Then I finally get upstairs, check in on their kiosk, and within a minute I get called up. The employee asks if I have paper copies of my lab order. I tell her no because my doctor sent everything electronically literally YESTERDAY at my docs appt. She immediately says there's nothing they can do and that they need paper copies. Annoying, but fine. I step out into the hallway to call my doctor's office and explain the situation. When I come back in to continue the conversation with the same employee, another staff member rudely asks, "Did you check in yet?" Like... obviously? I had already checked in and was literally continuing the conversation that had just happened. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unfriendly. If electronic orders aren't accepted or there are issues receiving them, communicate that clearly beforehand instead of making patients figure it out after they've paid for parking and already checked in. Not a great experience.

I texted her to tell her I had a labcorp order and she let me know she had discontinued working there after all these years- I was crushed! How would I go about finding someone new who was as sweet and wonderful and pain-free and "for the patients" as Cynthia? Mary was every inch as accommodating as humanly possible- she was so so sweet when I asked for a butterfly needle and to do a "1, 2..deep breath" before placing the needle. She said "my pleasure" every time I thanked her- and was so kind. I was a walk-in mid-day on a Friday and it was a pretty full waiting room but I got in and out very quickly- maybe 20 mins total? They do have separate sign-in kiosks for patients sent from the women's clinic and it did take them a second to get my insurance figured out, which I'm not used to dealing with. I can't speak to parking as I got dropped off and picked up. The only thing that was less than pleasant was having the needle placed on the smaller vein on the outer side of my inner elbow. Eek- not used to people using the outer arm vein (is it called "cephalic"?). It hurt even with a butterfly- but Mary made it go fast- she was really kind and caring.
