Let me tell you something right now... I didn't go to Quest Diagnostics for a blood test -- I went for a full-blown HUMANITY DOCUMENTARY. I walk in thinking, "Alright jBoogie, quick in-and-out, get your blood drawn, be a responsible adult." NOPE. That place said, "Sit down, sir... and observe." First off -- they say "walk-ins welcome." That's a lie. That's not a welcome... that's a TRAP. That's like saying, "Yeah, come on in!" but nobody home. Ain't NOBODY there to help you. No receptionist, no guidance, no nothing. Just vibes and confusion. Everybody signing themselves in like we're all employees now. People looking around like, "You work here?" "No, YOU work here?" Nobody knows! Meanwhile, I'm sitting there for TWO HOURS. TWO. HOURS. I aged. I grew spiritually. I considered my life choices. And the cast of characters?! Oh, I got the PREMIUM package. - Old Korean man next to me coughing like he auditioning for a zombie movie. I'm sitting there like, "Sir... is this airborne? Blink twice if I need to leave." - Grandma on speakerphone having a FULL family reunion. I know all her grandkids now. I'm basically invited to Thanksgiving. - Then we got Face Tattoo Lady with the ankle monitor watching loud videos like it's a movie theater. No headphones. Just chaos. Just straight chaos. And don't get me started on parking... YOU PAY FOR PARKING... to NOT EVEN GET SEEN. That's crazy. That's like paying for a concert and the artist never shows up! After two hours, I realized... I'm not getting my blood drawn today. But I DID get my patience tested. And guess what? I failed. Quest Diagnostics... y'all didn't take my blood, but you definitely took my time, my sanity, and a piece of my soul. Never again. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Lies!! I did make an appointment the following visit and only waited 45 minutes. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Beverly Hills, California

I had a failed blood draw today. The phlebotomist could not insert the needle into my vein correctly. He was literally man-handling my forearm to force blood to spurt into the tube. After 4 vials of this I broke out in a sweat and felt dizzy and nausiated. Another phlebotomist came to fan me, which was not helpful in anyway, then gaslit me saying this sometimes happens...like this was my fault, or my body's fault. This had NEVER happened to me in ANY of my prior draws. I tried to go to the bathroom to vomit, only to collapse in the restroom. After I got out I became wobbly and delirious and started to collapse into objects in the facility. Very bad experience here. read more

The most unprofessional blood draw I have ever experienced and I get a blood draw every six weeks elsewhere. Let's start with the tiny crowded waiting room, it's difficult to find due to lack of signage, dingy and check in is done via kiosk. Because the cramped waiting room was full we chose the wait outside and text me option and stood directly outside the door in the hallway. I received the text saying I was in the system then received no further text. After waiting twenty minutes past my appointment time we decided to go back into the waiting room where the phlebotomist who never introduced himself came out and called my name out loud, weird, I signed up to be texted but ok. I head back to a chair with zero privacy with this very fat man who's literally wheezing to breathe, he makes zero attempts to speak to me, make sure I'm comfortable, see if there's anything he should know or be concerned about. Silently does some computer work then again still with zero communication starts the blood draw. He doesn't wait for the rubbing alcohol to dry before sticking a huge straight needle into my pediatric sized arm which was very painful, I tell him he responds in an annoyed voice he can do it again elsewhere, I'm squirming in my seat from pain and he's still silent except his disgusting wheezing. I'm bleeding all over the chair at this point as he roughly changes tube after tube. Then he decides all on his own, before finishing the draw, to pull the needle and informs me he will be using another vein. I tell him absolutely not, communicate to him I'm very surprised he didn't use a butterfly needle considering my size, he informs me they only use those on pediatrics and very difficult pokes and that he has used straight needles on kids just fine, so I guess he's wildly unprofessional in several ways and enjoys hurting children because that's clinically inappropriate. He sits silently doing computer work again, saying nothing or apologizing for his unprofessional behavior and poor communication or lack of skill, I don't even know why I'm still sitting there so I ask if I need to sign something or if I'm free to go after several minutes sitting there bleeding while he ignores me. He tells me I need to sign something and goes back to ignoring me. This is by far one of the most painful blood draws I've ever experienced but also by far the least professional. This gross man should lose his job quite frankly. I will not be returning to this location and I advise anyone looking for clean, competent and professional healthcare to do the same because this lab is an embarrassment to medicine. read more

Great experience here with Leila! She was quick efficient and I didn't feel a thing! That's all you can ask for when getting some blood work done. I had an appt ahead of time and was in and out under 20mins. Meter parking is available on the street. Service is friendly. read more

Went for a walk in appointment. Had to wait 2 hours plus to be seen. Never had that happen anywhere else. Screen didn't properly reflect how many people were ahead of me since they kept taking people that must've had some other manner of appointment access. Had an appointment and arrived about 10 minutes before. There isn't a reception desk, only a kiosk to check in. There were a lot of people in the waiting room but only 3 or so were on the screen for appointments. As I waited a few people checked in after their appointment time, as late as 15 minutes, and were still seen. My appointment was at 4:30 and I was called at 4:33. Just before that an employee came out to say they would only see 2 walk ins, however, while in back I noticed they hadn't called anyone else besides another appointment. I got my appointment the day before, so if possible make an appointment to guarantee being seen. Nice and friendly staff. I did end up paying $5 for parking since I was in back for awhile before being seen. Parking $1.75 per 15 minutes at the time of this review and Quest only validates for 15 minutes. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST QUEST ON THE PLANET! the woman who work there are not nice, rude, zero customer service. Hopefully when you read this review she doesn't work there anymore, but Daisy is the worst. This is the second time I have been to this Quest lab for a blood draw. After I left and got in my car, the injection site was bleeding a lot. The compress was not put on correctly either time after the blood draw. I will not go back. I do not recommend going to this Quest location. read more

Thank you to the phlebotomist who cared for me today at 2:10 pm. Best experience ever getting bloodwork! I highly recommend this location.

I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance. When I arrived, there was a notice on the parking lot stating that the office was closed for the day. As a result, I fasted and prepared for the blood test for no reason, missed work, and no one even bothered to call or notify me that they would be closed. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. read more

Ridiculously slow, disorganized, rude staff. I have been here twice and would avoid this location.

Was physically and verbally assaulted by a phlebotomist who refused to give me her name. They did have the proper medical supplies and when I asked, "No butterfly needles?" She refused my service after waiting for over 90 minutes. She attacked me and called be a fucking dumb bitch in front of my 9 year old child. The police were called and further action will be taken. read more

I waited an hour and a half to get a walk-in service, and they told me they were closing and I couldn't be seen after 12 even though they closed at 12:30. Incredibly inconsiderate- it would be different if there were any available appointments within two weeks at any location nearby but there aren't. And they were rude to an old lady who was confused about getting seen. I was a walk-in and they removed my name from the list so they could end their day early. And then pretended I was never on the list to begin with. Genuinely insane. You shouldn't be in healthcare if you don't care about people- especially if you're rude to the elderly that is crazy. read more

Perfect experience here and I'll definitely come back to this location if I need bloodwork. I've been to a couple Quests before around LA and this is my favorite so far. Underground parking lot is under $2 with validation. I had a 1pm Appointment and was taken in immediately. I filled things out online before I came in, so they already knew all my info, the doctor, had the order - it was so well synced. Which brings me to the only small issue I had. Their system is nicely automated with reminder texts but something messed up with it for my initial appointment. It let me make an appointment on MLK Jr Day but that morning cancelled saying the office was closed. I was able to reschedule to the next day without issue, but still kinda annnoying it didn't register the closure earlier. The whole process was super fast and easy, plus bonus points because my blood person called me pretty. Five stars easy hahaha read more

Pretty bad location to be honest. Not only is parking very high (they say 15 free min but that is how long it takes to park and get into the elevator up to the lobby) I went on Saturday and the lobby was full full, thankfully I had an appt but the lab tech tried twice to access the vein and couldn't so she said sorry you'll Have to come back another day I can't go in a third time!! I thought this is your job all day how can you not access a vein and if you need to have heat on it to make it better by isn't that being done? Really bad and insanely frustrating. Pick any other quest than this one. Horrible read more

I recently visited Quest Diagnostics for lab work and had an excellent experience thanks to Daisy and Lelia. I'm usually a very difficult stick due to significant scar tissue and having very few usable veins, which often makes blood draws stressful for me. I also had a large number of labs ordered--around 15 tubes--which can be challenging even under the best circumstances. Daisy was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, and clearly very skilled. She was able to successfully access a vein with a single poke and draw several tubes. Unfortunately, my vein stopped flowing before all of the tubes could be completed, which is something that happens often for me. Daisy then tried another vein but wasn't able to get it, and she handled the situation calmly and professionally by asking Lelia to assist. Lelia came over and was able to complete the remaining tubes on my other arm with just one poke. Both Daisy and Lelia were compassionate, professional, and made a potentially stressful experience much more comfortable. I truly appreciate their expertise and teamwork and am very grateful for the care I received. I would absolutely recommend this location, especially for anyone who is a hard stick. read more

Diabolical that this place is still operational despite it's negative reviews. You set an appointment & if you're off by a second past the 10 minute late grace period- you're subject to a typical walk in process that leaves you waiting over 1-2 hours to be seen. The funny part is, I never got seen. They close at 5pm. ON A WEEK DAY. HAH. Imagine that They still charged my credit card around 650 for the test. Almost had to pay for parking too, lol. read more

Was very skeptical regarding this location due to the reviews. I had a 4pm appt, checked in on the kiosk around 3:55pm and my name was called in less than 90 seconds!!!! Daisy, the phlebotomist took about 5 min doing my intake and verifying my insurance. She poked me and got the vein on the first try, completely painless, and excellent IV skills, trust me, I'm a nurse lol. Process was fast and Daisy was friendly and kind. Would definitely come here again! read more

Leila took great care of me. Great location. Punctual with appointments! My veins are tiny but she got it!

Horrible experience, completely unprofessional I arrived for my scheduled appointment within the 10-minute grace period but couldn't check in because an elderly woman ahead of me was struggling with their check-in system. Instead of helping her efficiently or acknowledging that I had arrived on time, the staff marked me as "late." They then put me on a waiting list, made me sit for over an hour, and still refused to see me all because of a technicality that wasn't even my fault. It was painfully clear they were understaffed and doing everything possible to turn people away instead of providing care. I lost valuable time and money on parking, only to leave without being seen. If you actually value your time or need reliable medical service, avoid this location at all costs. They lack empathy, professionalism, and basic common sense. read more

Quest Diagnostics is one of the worst places to get any service done, and a prime example of what's wrong with the US healthcare system. I had already completed part of my bloodwork a day earlier, but needed to return for a specific test that had to be done before 9:00 am. Here's where it gets frustrating: there were no online appointments available for weeks, so I decided to do a walk-in and arrived at 8:00 am, well before the cutoff time. Despite this, they refused to accommodate me. Their lack of customer service is shocking--there's no front desk to help you, and no one answers phone calls. You're completely left on your own. It's the worst place to go if you need even a little extra assistance. And yet, despite their abysmal 2.0 rating, they continue to operate without addressing these glaring issues because they're still making money. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time and sanity. read more

I suggest going early when they open to avoid long lines. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The technician was gentle and friendly.

Generally speaking, Quest locations are a 4-5 star if you have an appointment and a 1-2 star if you attempt to walk in. I used to go to the Quest that was at Robertson and Wilshire just a few blocks to the west, but it closed down recently so now I go here. This location is actually nicer and better laid out than the Robertson/Wilshire one. The office waiting area and the blood draw area is larger and better lit. There is parking in the building (enter/exit on Le Doux north of Wilshire) and there are meters on Le Doux, Wilshire, and La Cienega. If you park a few blocks to the west off Clifton you can get free parking. Now, Quest is a breeze if you have an appointment. Since so many Quest locations have closed getting an appointment is tough. You may need to scheudle 1-3 weeks in advance depending how flexible you are. If you do have an appointment it's really simple. Just be sure you arrive at least 15 minuts early because they can give up your appointment if you're late. You go to the little scanner, input your appointment confirmation, scan your ID, and your name will appear on the TV and they'll call you quickly. If you walk in, well, you might be waiting for hours. Whenever I go to Quest there's a bunch of disgruntled walk ins moaning, complaining, and harassing the poor staff. I feel for the people whose primary or specialty care doesn't do their own blood draws and forces them to use Quest. That's a nightmare. I only go to Quest for my own self-pay, self-procured blood draws, so appointments are easy. I would give it 1 star if it was where my primary care sent me. Anyway, the system works if you have an appointment. If you don't, get there early and block off at least half your day. read more

Zero stars across the board- do not go in as a standby you'll wait at least 2-4 hours minimum. I came in 5 months pregnant, after fasting for 12 hours. I checked in as a walk-in because both my doctor and the Quest automated message recommended this. It said I was 5th in line, and it could take 30-1hr to be seen. Sounds fine I thought. Even though I was already nauseous and starving, I decided to wait it out. 90 minutes later they hadn't taken a single walk in!!! What a joke! This was obviously a LIE. When I confronted the staff about the lie, they said well the company tells them not to turn away anyone. I'm appalled. You need to tell people that it's going to take hours and is not guaranteed!!! Disgusting business practice from greedy corporation. They don't take a single walk-in between appointments and this location had 12 appointments booked every 30 minutes. Oh if you're ten minutes late they cancel you and treat you as a walk in (I saw several people this happened to). read more

I think they had one person drawing blood there today. I went as a stand by because I just got my orders from doctor today and I will have to wait another month if I can't get it done in the next two days. Not a single quest in a 20 mile radius is taking appointments in time, soonest was in another week. So I was 4th on stand-by list. In an hour of waiting two stand bys went in and out, and though I continued to wait, new people came in and they were put ahead of me on the stand by-list. Ofc, there is no one even there to inform the mistake. Another woman on standby had waited for two hours. People can't always wait the weeks quest forces you to do to make an appointment. This system is disgustingly and harmful to patients. Later today, I went to a second Quest where I was first on stand by. 6 patients were being served at a time when I arrived. 35 minutes later, 5 mins before closing, when all appointment patients had been served, I was THEN informed by staff "the system" was closed and I couldn't be seen. This is beyond ridiculous. read more

Okay, this location seems to have a ton of bad reviews, but my experience was great. I think the problems arise for those that don't have an appointment. It's a small staff, so standbys can wait hours, and that, according to the security person, has caused very bad behavior from people desperately wanting/needing to be seen as walk ins. The place is clean, the staff was warm, caring and welcoming. The blood draw was done comfortably. Just make sure to go here only with an appointment. Oh, and parking isn't covered, so if you can find street parking, save yourself some cash. read more

Clearly, the multiple bad reviews mean nothing to this business, but I'm still going to proceed writing one because of how frustrated and upset that I am. I had to do a 24 hour urine collection sample. I had an appointment that took me weeks and weeks to get just to get the jugs. I went to quest this morning to drop off the samples. I got there about 10 minutes before the opened, because they open at 8 and I start work at 8:30. There were 8 people ahead of me lined up outside the doors. When the doors opened I was told even though I'm only dropping off a sample I need to sign up on the stand by list and wait for an appointment as if they were drawing my blood. Then, they only had one kiosk for people to check in so I didn't get to check in until 8:13am. After sitting for 10 minutes I couldn't wait anymore, I had to go to work. They need a better system for drop offs. Based on how things were going it would have taken me an hour or more to be seen. I shouldnt have to sit there holding 6000mL of my refrigerated urine just to drop it off. They need a better system. Be warned, if you have to drop off a sample it won't be quick! Not sure what I'm going to do now since this is a refrigerated sample. read more

I've been to countless Quest locations, and this one is incredibly mean about appointments, and they move wayyy slower on top of that. 1) They encourage appointments yet they don't mean much. 2) They might "have every time slot available" until 5 pm close, but if you walk in 4:01 they will NOT see you! So why not say you close at 4?! 3) if you show up even 1 min late for your appointment, which it looks most people do because of how hard it is to find them, your appointment no longer works and you become a walk-in with NO number. So be sure to talk to front desk asap. 4) whether you got a number or not, they might argue with you about it and say you never did, or that you must have been late. We watched them argue with 3 people in a row. It's not even that busy... 4) the kiosk to check in doesn't seem to work. So even if you are on time it might not check you in at all.... If you still want to come here, make an appointment, park BEHIND the building in the back underground garage, and go up the elevator to 3rd floor. Make sure you're actually checked in, or you might wait for forever to no avail. We waited an hour, while listening to the employees laughing loudly in the back. It's just blood draws here. It shouldn't take 20 minutes per person! Very bad process here! read more

It seems they've really made an effort in the last few months to change things! I was a first time patient and very nervous about the level of care I would receive given the reviews of this office, but found my experience nothing like it! The first time I visited was to drop off a sample, and was seen as a stand-by within 40 minutes. The phlebotomist who helped me was very nice. She took my sample, drew my blood, and then informed me she would be sending me home with two more sample cups, as my doctors office hadn't given me the proper amount for the tests they had ordered. My second time coming back as a stand-by to drop those samples off was even faster, and I only waited for around 25 minutes before I was seen. While I got a different phlebotomist the second time, she was also very nice and helpful. read more
