Awful experience. We had an appointment at 11:50 on a Saturday and we have been waiting almost two hours now. The first phlebotomist was rude and didn't apologize for wait so r say hello, nothing. My 12 year old daughter is a hard stick and this is a lab but they have NO BUTTERFLY NEEDLES!!! This would make it way easier and less painful to draw her blood. Why??? Unbelievable. The first phlebotomist couldn't get blood from her so we're waiting for another one (seemingly more skilled) to try. I will avoid this location at all costs next time! This quest is terrible! They're always understaffed, they close for lunch. And the quote on the screen for how much time you need to wait as a walk-in is always incorrect. Don't quote me 30 min if it'll be 3 hours. I've been here for 30 hours and not a single person off the standby list has gotten called. Everyone waiting has been yelling at them. I would not recommend coming in without an appointment, and if you do need to come without an appointment try to go early in the day because they can be busy. If you have an appointment, scan the QR code from your email at the kiosk when you get there to get checked in asap. I absolutely hate needles. Giving blood? Pretty much a guaranteed fainting spell for me. But I had to come in twice for blood draws, and Josh and Mina made the whole experience--dare I say--pleasant? They were amazing. I had to give a lot of blood, but they talked to me the whole time, kept me calm, told jokes, and somehow made it all feel totally okay. Both times, they made me feel like I was in good hands (and not just because of the steady needle work). Their kindness and good energy made a huge difference. Worst experience. We've been waiting for 1 and a half hours, but they said they don't have any butterfly needles for kids. They only gave us 30 min validation. They should've let us know while we were waiting. One of the staff was aggressive to other customer who was waiting for a long time and ended up realizing they didn't have butterfly needles for kids. Quest Diagnostics continues to impress. My visit to this location today was smooth and efficient--my appointment started on time, and the technician did an excellent job with the blood draw. What more can you ask for? Some reviews knock Quest for not having a receptionist, but let's be real--this isn't a doctor's office. It's more like Valvoline or In-N-Out: they focus on doing one thing, and they do it very well. I have an account and get monthly labs done. You choose a time slot, arrive about 10 minutes early, check in via text, and then wait for your name to appear on the screen--kind of like the DMV, but better. I've used several locations across LA, plus one in Berkeley and another in NYC while traveling. The experience has been consistent across the board. Kudos to Quest for running such a well-oiled operation. read more

I was very, I mean veryyy hesitant on going here because of all of the reviews. I'm not the best with getting my blood drawn so I wanted a 10/10 spot but my doctor wrote my form for quest, and this was the closest location. (I feel like all the reviews and stats for quest is low). This was actually the best experience I've had getting blood drawn. Just call quest, schedule appointment. ONLINE, was way more difficult, highly recommend just calling and setting up that way. Nina was the sweet woman who helped me, made it so smooth, was very kind. Zero stars. Worst Quest location I've ever been to. Bathroom where specimens are required are under equipped with paper goods and wipes. No hot water or hot air to dry your hands. Because of an earlier doctor's appointment I was more than ten minutes late so had to go standby. Check-in machine was functioning improperly. I had an extremely frustrating experience at Quest Diagnostics today. I scheduled my appointment a month in advance for a very specific day due to medical reasons, yet when I arrived, they claimed they had no record of it--even though I had my confirmation number, email, and lab order. Instead of honoring my scheduled time, they told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait at the very end of the line, pushing my estimated wait time to 3:10 PM when my original appointment was for 8:20 AM. Additionally, there was no staff available to assist with check-in--just a kiosk--which made communication incredibly difficult. For a medical facility handling time-sensitive and essential tests, this level of disorganization and lack of customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time or needs reliable care. The photos attached are old. They do not have an opening where you can speak with the workers. So let me get this straight - I have to wait a week to make an appointment... just to pick up a collection kit? And then wait 45 minutes in the waiting room anyway once I show up? And then wait *another* two weeks to set another appointment just for dropoff? Whatever the business model is for this company, it's completely broken - and they clearly know it, which is why there's a kiosk rather than any chance of speaking with a human being. To say this place is frustrating is underselling it completely - the upper management has set these employees up to fail, but where else are we gonna go for necessary medical testing? If it wasn't absolutely required for me to do so, I would rather get a root canal at the DMV than have to come here again. read more

Quest Diagnostics advertised that they accept walk-ins, but their employees don't actually accommodate them. At one point, every patient waiting was a walk-in, and not one of us was called in. The next patient who came in had an appointment and was immediately called in. When we (walk-ins) asked when we would be serviced, the staff continued to say they had to take appointments first. We told them what we had observed, but this continued. It was so obvious what the employees were doing, that we started asking each person when they arrived if they were a walk-in or had an appointment. Some patients even arrived 30 minutes early for their appointment and were taken care of. It was as if the staff waited for scheduled appointments to arrive before calling the patients to the back. One walk-in patient arrived at 10:30 a.m. and was still waiting at 2:50 p.m. She had just had surgery too. This is sad! Please don't advertise that you take walk-ins if you don't want to accommodate them. This is absolutely wrong. read more

The scented plug in's are problematic for sick patients with upper respiratory issues such as a virus or asthma. Quest should quickly consider not using the plug in's and keep their patients safe from asthma triggers , migraine sufferers and respiratory patients. read more

1star is a joke. Zero stars. Got there 15 min before my appointment (10 min was suggested). I saw lots of people waiting and asked if any of them were the ones waiting on times already 20 min past what the check in kiosk said. So that clearly meant I would be at least 20 min past my time. I tried to change my appointment on the website but it rejected my confirmation code which I used to sign in with. Then it rejected my email and phone as alternate. I left with at least one other person then had to pay for parking. F*ck you quest. Pathetic. read more

The worst service ever! Never go there. Pick any other location. I had to wait 3 hours as a walk-in. Seriously? It takes 5 minutes to do blood work. Horrible experience, they placed me in a room. Did not engage, did not greet . The guy was confused so he had to go check in with his manager four times about who knows what. Came back and said he didn't know what to put under ethnicity when the proper question would be "what's your ethnicity?" I felt very discriminated after having proof of insurance he continued to try to make me pay $1200 and said my insurance didn't cover any services. He was very unprofessional and called me "girlie" without building a rapport. As a pregnant, full-time work woman this is unacceptable. I still had to go to work after this. I had my blood drawn yesterday at Quest. First off, it's weird to enter an empty waiting room with just chairs and an iPad. Then the technician comes out. She's fine, not friendly but not horribly rude. She took my blood and I left. As soon as I got home I started having intense pain at the site of the blood draw. I checked and saw bruising and a huge, hard lump at the site. It's still terribly painful the next day. I have never had this reaction to a blood draw before. read more

If I can leave 0 I would, we came in at 9:30 am and there was a line to check in at the kiosk( 2 people in front of us). We are checked in and sat down and like 15 mins pass and this nurse yells for the next patient to come in and yells to the WHOLE OFFICE "we are no longer taking any walk in appointments and slams the door shut"(with an ugly attitude) She made didn't anything after that, the whole 3 of us that were in line were left in disbelief. Unfortunately, the overall "2-Star" rating is quite justified. The waiting area is shameful, and extremely awkward. There is ZERO (!) staff, because everything is so ridiculously automated. Ya think this "automation" is cool? Think again! Whenever not a single staff-member is present, this creates total anarchy and zero oversight for the waiting area, including rowdy people. Ridiculous!! Quest Labs have gone too far with its obsession in automation & technology. The reality is: you cannot always depend on electronics & automation, because sooner or later it fails. The Self-Checkin process seems to work ok, but the machine has glitches - as heard from some patients. The wait times are also excessive. Even though I scheduled an appointment (and came on time) - I had to still wait for 20+ minutes to finally be admitted. The only bright side - is the service itself (inside the lab) was fine, staff was courteous and professional, and it was quick! Hence I'm giving 2 stars (not 1). Otherwise, the reception/waiting area needs a serious overhaul! Get rid of your ridiculous full automation, and have a staff-member present at the Check-in area, as medical facilities normally do. My technician today 5/24/25 was SPECTACULAR! I told her I have a tendency to pass out during blood draws, and she was so proactive. First time I haven't fainted! I also wasn't sure if I gave her the doctor's lab order, and she was so helpful double-checking for me after I returned. this location is OK compared to the others and by OK I mean it's less of a headache, but the headache is still strong. You have to make an appointment to pick up and drop off or you're going to be waiting hours just to do the same thing that isn't even if you have to get your blood drawn. Not all the technicians know what to do and I wasn't given proper instructions for a breath bacteria test (fasted) and had to come back a second time not to mention they also forgot to run one of my tests (they had the physical papers (the pickup and drop off one) so i have to do it all over again... read more

Even though I had paid for the test, waited for a few days, made an appointment and had been fasting for more than 12 hours the nurse Elizabeth refused to draw my blood because I asked her if it's possible to draw it when I'm standing (required by my doctor for conditions like POTS) and when she said "no" and I agreed to do it the regular way she still refused and offered me to go ask other nurses to see if they'll draw my blood at all. I will NEVER go back here again, and you should avoid this place too. Staff is either on a serious power trip, or hate people but for sure the woman who helped us had it out for us. I made two appointments for my two children. I was late for the first and very early for the second. Good luck if you're even a minute late, because you're on the wait list... and it was made clear " There is a system, and it goes by the system." even if that means you sit and wait when nobody else is being helped and the staff is laughing and joking in the back with no other customers back there. They finished ALL the appointments, closed the door, and we waited.... and waited... and waited.... then my son had to use the restroom... which a "nicer" lady let him do, but still, NOBODY else was being seen.... and nope... no help. They could have seen him right then... he literally had to pee in a cup for his test! SO we waited more... and mind you, the first woman who helped us straight up looked at us more than once and said nothing. It was like she took pleasure watching us wait, because she did. She hated us with her eyes, it was clear as day. Eventually I had to leave because we were late to our next appointment and my son did not manage to get his test done, thanks to the unprofessional staff at QUEST. I hope the woman who helped us reads this, and I hope she is really happy with herself... knowing she made a little boy remember what a mean and unkind person she is. The worst customer service. Not the first time, they just happened to be the nearest location. They clearly love to purposely make you wait not sure if it's out of laziness or power trip. Granted I came without an appointment (which is so hard to find in this location), the wait said 30-60 min. After waiting for 2 hours, they still didn't take me between patients, and stayed inside talking and laughing to each other. Slowest lab I've ever seen. They apparently had 3 scheduled appointments every 10min but only 2 techs. Even with the 2 techs only 1 person was being seen at a time (per their progress board in the waiting room). Then each visit was taking easily 15min. That math just doesn't add up for things to run on time for even the scheduled appointments. When I signed in as a walk in it said I could expect a 30-60min wait time which seemed ok- if it would have been honest and said 3-4hs or not a chance then I wouldn't have bothered waiting at all. Why offer walk in appointments when there is not a functional chance of seeing that person? Waited over 2hrs to not be seen. Just be honest about wait times, please. Staffing appropriately and being more efficient with each appointment would have made a huge difference too. read more

The Quest website may be the worst I have ever used. It scheduled an appointment without determining what the appointment was for, other than "all other tests". When I arrived on time at the Quest waiting room (which makes the DMV look warm and inviting), I was told I should have purchased the test I wanted before arriving. But the website did not ask me to purchase the test it just scheduled an appointment. And every day I get spam emails from Quest trying to sell me some new test. It's like they think they are Amazon. They have slots available every 10 minutes which is so inaccurate. Terrible lab. I took my elderly father for lab work. He was 5 minutes late. After checking him in and waiting for over 30 minutes they would not take him. Staff is nasty and unprofessional. There's nobody to ask any info from( only when tbey come out to call for patients) there's only a machine that checks you in. So if you're old and not tech friendly you will not be able to check yourself in. Terrible experience terrible place terrible staff. Terrible system. read more
