This place is beyond amazing. I told them my problem and they fixed it no problem and they provided great costumer service. If it wasn't for them i wouldn't have a car right now they fixed all problem that i had and didn't hit me with some bull charges that i usually get hit with when i go to other places. But overall, This is my go to place all the time now. read more

I had a nail stuck into my tire, and went to this auto mechanic spot last minute. They attended me the minute I walked in, plugged in the hole and within less then 5 minutes I was out of there. The staff are friendly and funny, they crack jokes often. Overall, very good service, I recommend! read more

Pleasant and competent. They are always helpful and give great advice. Unusually good service.

Fast, courteous, and friendly the two times I've been here. Didn't try to push bullshit repairs that I didn't need, only did what I came in for. This is where I'll go from now on. read more

Very courteous, honest, knowledgeable mechanics, you tell them what you think is wrong with your car and they listen to you and explain what has to be done to fix it and they make the repairs. I am so pleased with their service. read more

I took my 2003 ford focus to them because the check engine light was on. I knew what the problem was. The shift solenoid needed replacing. I got there at 3:30 and asked could it be repaired today. I was told no because he was leaving in 20 min. I said how about Sat. I was told no again. Then I was told they don't do anything with transmissions, and I should take it to another shop that was recommended. The problem is the website says they close at 6pm. The website also says they work on transmission. Lastly replacing a shift solenoid on a focus is not very hard, just messy. You have to drop and drain the transmission pan. The solenoids are right under the transmission filter. Unscrew one bolt swap them out and put everything back together. I didn't want to do this because of lack of space and it being very messy, but it seems I am going to have to. read more

The service is fast, efficient, and reliable. EVERYONE there is helpful and my car which is a Jeep Cherokee went in with several problems and came out riding smoother than ever and they did not break my bank. I gave them a list of problems I was having and they addressed each one and made recommendations without pushing me to have more services then I needed at the time. I will definitely return and recommend others to go there. read more

Great honest service. Places like this are hard to find. These men are thorough with every job that they do. If something is needed they will recommend it. They will not try to upsell you on anything like most mechanic garages do. I have been going here for years. Unfortunately there aren't many auto mechanics that you can trust nowadays, but these guys are working with integrity and honesty. And the job is always done right the first time. read more

Had a horrible experience. This happened about 2 years ago, but the experience has been sticking in my craw since that time and I felt it was necessary to make my experience know. One of the mechanics/personnel was especially rude and actually used profanity. I showed up with my car which was in need of very serious and very expensive engine repair work and this mechanic, who I guess I unfortunately disturbed from his afternoon nap lying on a bench in the customer waiting area, eventually sat up and asked me very pointedly and very suspiciously what I was carrying in a brown paper bag (which actually just contained my lunch and a bottle of spring water). I answered that it's just my personal stuff. I have to take it with me because I'm dropping my car off for repair. He answered, "Oh, cause it looks like you're carrying a bag of dog sh**, that's what's in the bag, right --- dog sh**?? No dog sh** allowed in here!" Yes, he really asked this! As you might guess, I could not believe the blatant disrespect and vulgarity. Is this how they treat their customers?? I had never been here or met this individual before. There were other customers in the building while he was unloading on me and he didn't at all sound like he was trying to be funny. Sounded more like he wanted me to just turn around and leave so he could go back to his afternoon catnap. Here I show up ready to spend nearly a thousand dollars for engine work and repairs and this individual is spouting off and swearing a me like some drunken sailor. The other mechanic (I assume) heard what was going down and told him to pipe down and then apologized to me. Potty--mouth never apologized. So I left my car (nervously) at the shop and the other nice mechanic offered to drive me to work (which was about a mile away from the repair shop), which I accepted. This nice mechanic assured me they would call me as soon as they find out what the problem with the car was. After 2 days went by and not having heard from the shop, I called there myself and I was told that the mechanic working on my car is not there today and the person answering the phone wasn't sure about what was wrong with my car. I was told I would be called back the next day by the repairing mechanic. After waiting until late the next (third) day for a call back and not receiving one, I decided to call the shop myself again. This time I managed to speak with the mechanic who told me he determined the engine is no longer any good and that it would likely cost too much to repair. So they performed no repair on the car after the diagnosis and I can come and pick up my car. Thus, the car sat there in the lot for nearly 3 days and I was never contacted. I had to call the shop myself to get any answers. For obvious reasons, I will never go back to Conant Auto Service again and I would never recommend them. read more

Hello my name is Teresa , I went on google searching for a mechanic near my job. I always look up the review before calling , this time I didn't , but to my surprise the owner Bill was very pleasant with a warm personality. we chatted about cars , and he educated me on what type of oil that was needed for my 2006 Saturn, turns out that i was paying to much money in the past getting my oil change and they used only 4 quarts ...when my car really needed 4.5 quarts WOW !!!!!!! my car is riding very smooth , thank you Bill and his mechanic I will be returning to Conant auto for services......... read more

One word comes to mind for this place after the experience I just had . Awesome! Let me back track, I was hearing a strange noise coming from my front driver side wheel for 2 days and after doing my research I figured it must be coming from the front brakes being worn down. I go to the car parts store thinking I could handle it myself ( boy was I wrong). While trying to fix the first brake I broke one of the necessary bolts to finish the job. Leaving me without a front brake. I finally realized I should let a pro handle it and when I lowered my car I notice now my rear tire was flat -_-. I looked up the closest mechanic to me and lo and behold I found Conant Street Auto Service. Upon arrival (in a squeaky car with 1 brake missing and a flat tire) I was greeted by the owner who is a down to earth guy who makes you feel comfortable (unlike other mechanics who look at you funny when you don't know the proper handbook name of every car part) I handed him a list of what was wrong with the car. I picked up the car 2 hours later, not only did the fix everything on the list , they also inflated all my tires and didn't leave greasy fingerprints all over the car, which mechanics are know for. This shop just earned themselves a customer for life read more
