The restaurant was very busy when we got there. It was a holiday week day, and there were only two servers - but you'd never know it. Juan Pablo gave us great service, and he was very nice! The trifecta was so much food, and it was delicious! I had enough to be full and take some home. The Iced Cuban was also great!! My husband said the pancake tacos were a very unique twist on two breakfast foods. The chocolate syrup was very good. Combined with the fruit it made for a very nice summer breakfast meal. He also liked that the sweet tea had a lime. They had classic soccer games on the tv, which was pretty cool. read more

I'm a long time lover of Con Huevos, but this was my first time at this location. The space is much larger than Brownsboro, and includes many 4 seater booths. The outdoor space is also lovely with comfy chairs! And as always, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. read more

First off, I love how bright and cheery this place is. You can't help to be in a good mood. Especially when the sun is shining through the windows. The food is wonderful here. I've been several times and each time I try something new. Yesterday I met a friend for brunch. I ordered the Omni-Vore Breakfast Sandwich and my friend ordered the Breakfast Street Tacos. Both were great. I also ordered a Mexican Chocolate (Hot Chocolate) as a treat. Yum! The staff were very friendly. The only thing I will say is I wish they came by for a water refill. Heard a lot of great things about this place so I decided to try. Food was pretty good as I tried the DULCE DE LECHE FRENCH TOAST with the applewood bacon. The service was okay. I took my family from out of town here the morning after Christmas so they were very busy but they were able to get a table cleared off for us in just a couple minutes. We didn't have to wait too long for food and my family raved about how good everything was. My uncle who lives in Houston and was a restaurant manager for many years was especially impressed with how the server made small talk and asked how our Christmas was, etc even though he was busy. I wish I could remember our servers name but we were just extra impressed that he took the time to be friendly. Con Huevos has been my favorite breakfast place to take family to! You can't beat their menu and ambiance. I love how it's bright and colorful and feels upbeat compared to other breakfast restaurants that have the quaint farmhouse vibe. read more

The coffee drinks we had were amazing and so was the food. We tried the Tres Leches pancakes, the biscuits and gravy, the chilaquiles, and the huevos rancheros. Everything was very good. I would get the huevos rancheros without the beans next time because at times it overtook the flavor profile. The chilaquiles were just like we had in Mexico. The pancakes were delicious but the sauce is so rich we couldn't eat it all. The biscuits and gravy were good- the biscuit was savory and crumbly and the gravy was more of a chorizo cheese sauce with a kick. Our service was amazing and sitting outside allowed us to see the neighborhood. We also loved this area of town and the small town tree lined feel as well. read more

On the search for brunch places recently, I was delighted to see that one of my favorite spots has a new location out in Norton Commons. Ten minutes later, we were in the car and on our way. We arrived a bit before prime brunch time and were able to grab a seat immediately. We decided on our food, ordered, and waited patiently (well, most of us - the toddler was as patient as they could be) for our meal. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and decorated much like the Frankfort Ave location with elegant molding around the windows. Service was prompt, and a short time later we were enjoying our meal. I went with a new one for me - Enchiladas con Huevo - and was not disappointed. I also got to polish off the kid pancakes and would recommend those as well. Full, happy, and fueled up, we were set to enjoy the weekend after our pit stop at Con Huevos! read more

I love Con Huevos!! The location in Norton Commons is so conveniently located to our house, which is a huge bonus! The staff are always so friendly and have great suggestions! We love going for brunch, but recently this location started a Summer Nights event Thursday-Saturday each week from 4:30-9 with music, new menu items, and new cocktails, and my husband and I had so much fun! They have new Pop Margaritas that come frozen and have a tasty popsicle in them. We tried the lime and my husband mixed their strawberry and mango in one, and they were both so good! They also offer the Pop Margarita Flight where you can have the lime, strawberry, and mango on the rocks or frozen, and that also has a popsicle in it! I loved this because you get a little of everything! We tried their trip dip that comes with guac, salsa, and queso. It was the perfect sampler app. We also tried their loaded nachos and added chorizo to them, and they are absolutely delicious! For dinner, we had the Baja fish tacos, the grilled chicken tacos, the street corn, and the drunk burrito. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! The Baja fish tacos were my favorite, and my husband is obsessed with the burrito! The street corn was honestly the best we've had! For dessert, we had their new Flan Tastico which was insanely delicious! My husband doesn't normally like flan, and I had to fight him to get the plate back to get a bite! My boyfriend and I have been to other Con Huevos locations and decided to try the Norton commons location. The staff were all very polite, service was quick, inside was clean, and it wasn't too loud to have a conversation. They also had a small patio for outdoor seating but we had no problem finding a table after we ordered at the counter. I got the Omni-vore sandwich and it was your basic breakfast sammie done right. There's a jalapeño aioli that gives just the right amount of spice and flavor. They weren't stingy with the bacon or avocado and they egg was cooked perfectly. I'd eat it again and again and again. Home fries were good too. My boyfriend got the omelette which was HUGE and full of veggies. He added ham to the omelette. I tried the sauce on top which was again the right amount of spice and flavor. Definitely worth the price. I usually go for the breakfast tacos which are always 10/10. We haven't tried any of the lunch items but I'd imagine they're delicious. I'm glad to see they're expanding and getting more locations! read more

I've been to this location twice; today was a disappointment. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed and there was general confusion when we entered. Instead of ordering at the front desk, as normal, we were told to take a seat. Others ordered at the front desk - there didn't appear to be any logic as to why some placed orders in one location and others in another location. Now to the food. The tortilla chips with pico de gallo were an embarrassment and frankly I'm shocked the waitress thought it was OK to serve them. She served us a plate of broken, stale chips. Literally one chip wasn't broken, and they were all stale. Our entrees were bad to mediocre. Potatoes tasted like they came straight out of the freezer with absolutely no salt, pepper, or seasoning. The service varied, though it took about fifteen minutes after first sitting down to be acknowledged. Our primary server was a bit aloof but somewhat friendly. A different server should find another line of work. 15 minutes after ordering a Bloody Mary we were simply told they were "out" in a monotone voice, with no apology or suggested alternative. I've probably eaten over 100 meals between all their locations and thrilled with their latest opening in Norton Commons. I've never left disappointed. The breakfast is phenomenal and the flavor is on point. The decor is fun and bright. The staff is friendly, fast, and accommodating.
