This place is a hidden gem in our Kennesaw community. My Galaxy S7 curve charging port went out and I was almost stuck until I googled Computers R us. I went to another fix it place a few days prior and they told me it was not fixable and that they would do more damage than good. I called and spoke with Damien and he said he had the part and could do it that day within a couple of hours. Minutes later I showed up to a well kept store with a lot of unique and interesting items to view. He said he will have it same day and he definitely did that. I felt very comfortable and confident with Damien. I will be using him in the future for any electronic problems I have. Plus they support Military and Veteran discounts with proper ID. Unfortunately I will not be returning back to this store or buying anything from it. My fiancé bought a MacBook Pro from Computers R us in Jan. Within a couple of days of having the computer it started to malfunction. The screen showed graphic issues and some black screen. When my fiancé was finally able to take it in they advised the graphics card needed to be replaced. It took them a while to get the computer back to us but because they were nice and accommodating we decided not to return the laptop since it was still in warranty. After waiting a couple of weeks.. numerous calls checking in and receiving the computer back the screen and graphics on the computer still seemed to be off. We kept the computer but then after a couple of weeks the charging port of the computer started to fail. When the computer was plugged into the wall it did not Connect correctly. Since we bought the extended warranty we were on the verge of returning but the associates and store owner advised they could help and fixed anything that needed done. Feeling bad for a small upcoming business we decided not to return. Flash forward to July my computers is once again having issues. This time the issue is with the keyboard not working properly. I am not able to sign into the computer at all and the computer is very crucial to me completing my work and projects. My fiancé once again took the computer in to see if there is anything they could do. The associate said yes for an additional $75 but it would not be completed until Monday. I can not do Monday because I have an order that needs completed before then. We asked for the computer back and we would figure out an alternative way and they said they could do it by today (Saturday) and if not they would give us a call. Last time they told us a day we waited MUCH longer than what was advised. I was feeling very weary as this is a very important project for me and I needed the information from my laptop. Unfortunately we never got a call or update from the store on the process. It is now Saturday evening store is closed and nothing. I will be loosing money in my business and I am very unhappy with the customer service of this store. When my fiancé dropped the computer off they did not even give him a receipt or anything about them having our computer in there possession. I'm just in shock this is how they operate! read more

Stay away from this place. They sold me a used computer that had a cursor/tracking pad issue that started not long after I made the purchase. Took the computer back to have the issue repaired, but they claimed they couldn't find anything. Doubtful that the tracking pad was even checked out. Spent 45 dollars for them to tell me they couldn't find the issue. Plus they had my computer for at least a week. After that, the cursor issue got worse and worse to the point that the cursor no longer worked at all. Took the computer back over, and they then tell me that I'm financially responsible for any repairs. Waited nine more days and received a call from them regarding the computer, informing me that not only is there a tracking pad issue, but there's now an issue with my battery not staying in its slot like it should. Got mixed messages about whether or not thry could fix it, and when I confronted them with the fact that they sold me a "lemon", I was informed that they weren't going to fix the computer and for me to come and pick it up. Very unprofessional approach. and a blase "we don't care if fix it at all" attitude. Now I'm left with a non-working computer and am out almost $500. Don't buy a used computer from this business. read more

Damien has fixed my Samsung majorly cracked screen only once so far- but the service was quick as can be and he had the best price in town. He most recently also fixed my boyfriend's iPhone too- again we were super pleased with his fast service and great prices. Soon, I am headed in to get a quote on fixing my Macbook. They wont even LOOK at my Mac at PeachMac for at least two weeks AND are asking for a deposit. I spoke with Computers R Us tonight and I will have a diagnostic either same day or next day. Great little place!! I go out of my way to get here.... It's worth the drive up 75 to Kennesaw to get trustworthy service. Looks like a homey little coffee shop in the front... if you have to wait here, you will be comfy :) Got my laptop computer fixed here a few months ago.... hinge was coming apart. They were very helpful and laid out my options for me, did good work in reasonable time (longer than the almost-instant phone screen repairs I just read about, but as expected...taking apart laptops is involved!) but I believe I got the computer back in just a day or two? I don't exactly remember at this point but I was pleased with the work and the price was reasonable. I just went back yesterday for an issue that ended up resolving itself. Again, they mentioned options for me but didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I really appreciate their help and feedback; I feel like I can trust them! :) read more

This past Saturday afternoon while at Home Depot I momentarily set my iPhone ate on a box while looking at something and of course immediately the phone began vibrating which caused it to slide off of the box and land fully flat face down on the floor. I think most of us by now know that weird specific sound that an iPhone makes when the glass shatters because you know before you even pick the phone up. This time was a little different because my screen went black and I couldn't get it to come up even though I could hear text messages coming in. As I pulled out of Home Depot I noticed there was a Verizon office and I pulled in there and the guy said since I didn't have equipment protection I should go down and see these two guys. I went in and they looked at my phone and they had the screen replaced in about 20 minutes off for about $90. They have a cool sitting area where you can just hang out I chose to take a nap. I can highly recommend these guys. I heard and saw how they treated customers - very well. And I liked the get it done, friendly, no BS approach too. read more

I took a chance and checked today to see what I could find. Searched the Internet and came across Computers R Us to see if I would have better luck today. Love these guys! They've helped me a couple of times in the past, so I stopped in yesterday to see if I could get some QUICK help with an issue I was having with one of the functions on my iPhone. Damien greeted me with a smile, and actually stopped what he was doing to first look into the problem, do some testing, and ultimately resolved it for me, all while engaging in a friendly conversation with me! Afterwards, he explained everything he had done to resolve the issue (which, BTW, Apple wasn't even able to resolve after 3 separate phone calls!), and the steps that I can take to resolve the issue, In the event that it recurs in the future. I enjoyed my experience here at computers r us. I thought my computer was completely unfixable. As a college student I just couldn't afford another computer. I looked around at a lot of places and I read the reviews and found them. Most of the reviews were about fixing damaged phone screens but I needed a complete and total reset for my software on my computer. I went out on a limb and contacted them. They explained that they did in fact fix more than just screens and told me to bring it in. I dropped it off on a Wednesday and was able to pick it up that next Tuesday. I live out of town so waiting for it to be fixed wasn't the slightest bit of an issue.They were extremely informative and fixed it at a very reasonable price. I have been using it since I picked it up and its been working like new! I couldn't have thanked them more! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that has computer software issues. read more
