Based on its Yelp reviews, I gave TechHub Direct a call. I arranged a time to drop of the Chromebook. Within a couple of days, Anthony let me know it was ready for pickup. Turns out, after running various diagnostics, there were no apparent software or hardware problems. It was a power reboot that fixed it. The Chromebook has been running normally since I picked it up, and I've changed my charging method to be sure I don't overcharge it.
