Damon is a real professional you can trust. Trying to find a guy to fix your computer can be as stressful as finding a new auto mechanic to fix your car: both require time and labor, spare parts, diagnostics, and a number of other points that involve checking things and replacing parts. You just have to trust that the person you have hired is good at what he does and is honest, So I took my mom's Compaq computer to Damon. Before I found Damon on Yelp my mom had paid a guy over $300 to constantly "fix" her computer. Damon spent about 20 minutes running some tests and taking a look and explained that the system was dying fast. He said he might be able to get it to start up, but it would just shut off again like it had been doing. He said it wasn't worth fixing. I asked if he could replace the mother board and a few more parts needed to get it working, and he said he could but that it would be cheaper for me to just buy her a new computer. Wow!!! Talk about an honest guy!!!! Not only was I impressed with his honesty, but after visiting his Redlands office it was obvious that he sleeps, breathes and eats computers. He is very passionate about his work. I also heard him talk to some of his customers on the phone and he demonstrated some of the best communications and customer service skills I have seen! I had Damon Needleman come to my office to work on my main computer. He diagnosed the hardware and recommended a memory upgrade as my system was locking me up due to low memory. Wish I could've given a 5 star review but unfortunately my laptop is still dying rather quickly. I originally took it in because of damage from a fall so the port to charge the laptop was damaged. They explained the damage and I asked if it was worth fixing or if I should buy a new laptop and the young man told us it would be fine once fixed considering the age of laptop and model. I originally paid 160$ for them to fix it temporarily until I ordered the part for it, which I did. After getting the laptop back I noticed it was dying within an hour of charge. When I received the part to fix the charging port I let Robert know the issue I was having and he told me to order the battery from Amazon, so I did and as soon as I received the battery I took it in as well as the other part and dropped off my laptop. I was given a discount for the labor so I only ended up paying 40$ more. When I picked up my laptop it was showing a bit over 2 hrs charge which Robert said it may go higher or stay the same, but it has almost been a week now and laptop is dying within an hour and a half or less. They are nice, and again, I really would have rated better but unfortunately my laptop is not fixed and I am still going to have to buy a new laptop since I'm not going to spend anymore trying to fix it considering I now have $200+ less to spend on a new one. read more

Recently I turned on my computer and nothing, I could not get past the first boot screen. After a few calls to the manufacturer and buying recovery disks I still did not have any luck getting my computer up and running. My first stop was yelp where Damon and his company popped up with the only five star rating. I called and got Damon & set an appointment. He showed up on time and took about a good hour and a half to diagnose my computer problem in which it turns out my hard drive got fried and I needed a new one.. All this time was free!!! This is a rarity these days where these big companies charge for everything and make you speak to some person in an indian call center. Damon found a new hard drive for me and said I could either go get it or he could take me himself and I would pay for it and he would install for a one hour charge. As soon as we bought it, got home and he installed it my computer was up and I was happlily spending the rest of the day installing and recovering all my stuff. He even offered free phone support if I had any questions about any of the software I had to re-install.
