Great value. Very cool guy (Reza): conscientious, personable, on his game. No complaints.

They were extremely fast and knowledgeable. I highly recommend. They fixed my very old mac book pro in a day

Finding a place other than Apple that can truly repair a Macbook is a major 'find'. No crazy long wait lines, pricing, lengthy time to fix or any of those horrible experiences. Fred was great, fixed our mid-2014 laptop and gave us more time using a laptop I was not eager to replace. Thanks tons! I give Computer Palace a hearty endorsement. read more

Navid was exceptionally helpful when I was stuck in Santa Monica with a dead computer. He did not have the unusual power adapter that I needed for my laptop but was very generous to allow me to sit in his store and call other vendors to try and locate it. He was very helpful to someone from out of town who he would likely never see again. read more

Poor customer service. I called inquiring about their services and got told an email address that I didn't even get the chance to confirm and was hung up on. Sorry I will pass -- just horrible! read more

Wonderful! After looking at all of the YELP reviews for the various computer repair services around town, I decided to call Computer Palace. They have great reviews and have been in business for many years. I called last week and spoke with a lovely man named Fred. We arranged for an in-home service appointment with computer tech/wizard David. David arrived on time, was very professional and a joy to have in our home. David set up my new computer, new router, data transfer from old MAC to new MAC, email set up and installed programs. Stress-Free and Perfect! Thank you Computer Palace. read more

I didn't actually use the services (i fixed it myself, ended up being something simple) but when i needed someone asap, he was very responsive to my questions and that is very important to me. I know if i need services again then i will definitely use this company. Thank you Navid! read more

These guy's are knowledgeable and good at what they do, they trouble shot my issues with an iMac and worked through it. Highly recommend this shop. Special shout out to Fred for his patience. Thank you. Skyler Thompson read more

Fixed my Mac book in 1-2 days and now it's functioning perfectly! Great place would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Amazing service from the owner, Navid. I had an urgent issue and messaged multiple places early in the morning about replacing my father's MacBook screen. Navid responded within minutes of me sending a message and had the best cost and turn around time of any quote I received from multiple local computer repairs shops. They have their own parking in the back which made it super easy to drop off the computer and to come back and pick it up. I highly recommend going to this place if you are looking for lower prices, quick turnarounds and need a place to quickly diagnose a problem. Navid was extremely helpful and a very nice gentleman. read more

My MacBook needed to get back into shape & reset ASAP (before a flight from LAX). Navid was incredibly responsive, helpful, and competitive in pricing. Will definitely recommend Computer Palace to my circle and continue to use on my end. Thank you! read more

I had a computer emergency that I won't bore you with. But suffice it to say I needed help ASAP. That was exactly the service I received. They worked on it immediately and stayed true to the time they said it'd be done. They were clear with what could and couldn't be done ahead of time, and then we agreed on an approach to fix it. At the end of the few hours they called to say they couldn't make it happen. It just wasn't an option that worked ultimately. Even thought they tried to make it work and it didn't they should have charged me for their time but they didn't. They didn't want to charge me if they couldn't fix it. It wasn't necessary but I appreciated their integrity. Because of how they handled everything they will be my first call next time I have an issue. Thank you again! read more

I had a MacBook Pro keyboard that needed to be replaced. The keyboard was still usable, just some keys required to be pressed harder than than others so I was looking for service that could be performed with minimal downtime. I requested quotes from a few different places on Yelp and received a variety of quotes ranging from $200 to $400. Some places required that I drop off the laptop for up to a week while they waited for parts to arrive, etc, so I passed on those options. Before getting it fixed at Computer Palace I had tried two other places. The first place (UBreakFix) had ordered the part but after a week the part had still not arrived. I waited another week for the part but I was never notified that the part had arrived and didn't hear a response after trying to contact them again. Next place I tried was iPhone and Mac Repair Bar and after giving them my laptop details, they provided a verbal quote over the phone but said they would need to follow up with the actual quote and estimated time to fix but I never heard back from them. So then I reached out to Computer Palace and they give me a quote over the phone and ordered the part on the same day. A few days later they contacted me saying the part was in and that I could drop off my laptop and they would do their best to fix it the same day. I ended up dropping the laptop off on a Friday morning and it was ready for pick-up by mid-afternoon on the same day! He also cleaned up some dirt that had worked its way around the trackpad edges and everything is working as if it's brand new! The entire process was about as painless as could be, especially after dealing with a few other places before ultimately working with Computer Palace-- I highly recommend! read more

I had a complicated computer issue. Needed to have the hard drive replaced in a 2014 iMac and needed an older OS to remain intact due to legacy software. Navid at Computer Palace was amazing. Understood the situation right away and got it all done in two days. Was very responsive and my computer is back and running better than ever! Can't recommend enough! read more

First off, Fred is amazing! I brought in my very old hdd from a laptop I had in the early 2000's. I wanted it to be able to be used as a external drive and recover all my documents. He told me he might be able to recover all the data. After about a week he called me and said he was able to recover everything!!!! Went in and he showed me his amazing work. Was very happy to see pictures that I thought were lost forever. He gave me an amazing price for the job he did! Would definitely use computer place again if needed and definitely recommend! Thanks again Fred!!!!! read more

Took care of my computer issue ASAP and restored some data that was missing. Highly recommend. Fair price too!

Recently there was an accident in my family... My MacBook Pro took a tumble and my screen was shattered from the outside in... I burst into tears and figured that nothing would be salvaged and I would have to buy a whole new laptop. Macbook Pros are not cheap folks...Neither are their parts. I called several different places to try and get an idea of how much it would cost...and then finally after bringing it over to Macmall and being quoted at nearly $1000 for repair, I started contemplating about buying the part myself and searching for youtube videos/friends who might be able to do it for me. Coming back from the Macmall, I stopped at the red light at Santa Monica and Corinth Ave and noticed a small little shop that said they were an accredited business and repaired both PCs and Macs. I thought what the hell....I might as well... To my delight, not only did they quote me at a price less than half of what Macmall wanted charge me, but he was honest and helpful. Together we devised a plan to help me save money. He mentioned that he would pull the dent out of the front panel of my laptop and that would save me the most money on parts. I wasn't sure if my hard drive had been affected in the fall or my DVD player, he said he would take a look and call me if anything was wrong. He called me when it was ready for pick up 4 days later. Not only did they do a great job, but he showed me what they did, presented my old parts to show what they had replaced and why (and asked if i wanted to keep or have them recycled-which they would take care of, gave me some advice on maintenance, and sent me on my way at the same price that he quoted me on. They never tried to upsell me on anything, give me some bullshit story about me needing a new DVD player (it sounded a little loud, but was otherwise still in working order which he pointed out). Honest. Fast. Dependable. Cheap. Support the local community and check this place out! From now on, I will go here for all my computer issues and will tell my friends to do the same. Ask for the owner, Fred... AND their diagnostic is $45 which is cheaper than both Macmall and BestBuy...and that fee also goes towards the cost of your repair. Awesome. read more

During this pandemic, I have become fully reliant on doing my work on my laptop. All of the sudden, the LCD on my MacBook Pro stopped working. Computer Palace was one of the few places operating and had all parts in stock. Even though they were backed up, they prioritized my request to speed up my repair and got it fixed the SAME DAY! Price was very reasonable and service professional. I definitely recommend them! read more

I am the tech coordinator for a local elem/middle school and was looking for a local MAC repair company. My students use MacBook Airs and there always seems to be things that go wrong with them. Most of the time it is replacement of the LCD screen. I spoke with Fred and then Navid and they came up with a price we can live with. They are fast and the price was good. I'm looking forward to a long relationship. read more

Fast, quality, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and affordable service I received on my PC. My digitizer screen on my new work HP had shattered, and they were able to get a new screen and digitizer for a fraction of the cost vs going with the manufacturer. The parts took a short time to deliver, while I continued to use the computer with an external monitor, I was called in the day the parts arrived, and the computer was done that evening. I also had a Mac with power issues, and sure enough they had Mac parts on hand as well. Very professional, clean, efficient, quality service! Will definitely return and definitely tell others!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Computer Palace. The expertise and service have been incredible. Most recently when my personal computer stopped working, Navid and his team made time to help me the same day and the process was so seamless. I was up and running again so quickly. I hit a software snag right as I was sitting down to get some overdue work done. The pressure was on. I started up the software and got an error message I had never seen before and was instantly dead in the water. I called Fred at Computer Palace. He has helped me before. Lucky day! He was there and open for another hour. I brought the computer to him and he diagnosed the problem right away. 20 minutes later I was home and back at it. Where can you get that kind of expertise and service? These guys know their stuff, they don't over-sell, they over-deliver! I'll go back there whenever I have a problem. They are my first and last call! BTW- Intelligent Covid strategy at shop. I felt safe and it was clear that all rules were being followed for the brief time I was there. read more

Fred was so kind & patient with me. I tried to replace a notebook laptop battery by myself & accidentally stripped two tiny screws. He not only fixed it quickly, but he actually explained to me how to do it properly next time so I don't have to pay anyone, and he gave me a little screwdriver to take home! Instead of acting like I shouldn't try to fix things at home, he appreciated my curiosity & Initiative. I will 100% come back to Computer Palace if I have any other issues. read more

As an individual who has done computer repair professionally, I would not recommend Advance Computer Corp. They have wasted my time and money. I was looking for a repair shop capable of doing SMD rework on Apple logic boards as I needed to have a sensor on a board replaced. So I called Advance Computer Corp to ask if they were able to do this type of work. The person who answered the phone stated that they probably could, but said they would have their mac technician give me a call back to confirm. The day goes by and never had any response. Reluctantly I still brought the machine in for repair and was assured that they would be able to perform the requested repair. The next day I received a phone call stating that they would not be able to perform the repair and would have to send the machine to a 3rd party repair shop. I then asked what the estimated cost of the repair was going to be and was shocked to find out that they wanted about 2x the market rate for the repair. After having declined the repair, it was surprising to also be charged with a "diagnostic fee". This is frustrating as I did not bring the machine here for a diagnostic, I was simply looking for an estimate on the board repair. My instructions were very specific with what I was asking for and explicitly told them the component on the board that needed to be replaced as I was not able to source the replacement part myself. Overall they had mislead and lied to me about their services, charging me money for services I did not ask for. read more

I needed guidance on software issues for MacBookAir. Was assured service person knew Apple. "Nope."
