When my laptop breaks on me, I always feel like I have very few options on what to do. Especially with a Mac, every time i turned to a Genius Bar for help, they chastise me for water damage and say my only solution is to buy a new laptop. If there were 10 stars then Omar would get them. Charged me nearly 1/2 of what others where quoting to replace my Galaxy S8's screen and LCD. AND gave me a loaner phone!!!! I didn't catch the name of the gentleman working the night I went in to get a replacement hard drive for my laptop but he was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend checking this place out before going to any of the big box stores if you need a cell phone or laptop or any type of repair for a small electronic device. This place may be ok for screen replacement, nothing else. Went twice to have a charging problem on a tablet fixed. Utter confusion in the store. Anyplace that has signs saying wake and bake Blvd and ass, gas, or grass, nobody rides for free should have been my first clue. Second clue was music blasting and winos sitting in the store drinking malt liquor. Poor judgement on my part to continue. Explained the problem to the counter guy. He calls someone to ask how to test my tablet. Tried three charging cables and said it looked like a cable problem. Explained I had same result and it wasn't the problem. Takes my tablet, says he will test and call me the next day. No call. Three days later I get a text saying it's fixed and ready to be picked up. $25. I get there, Wade through the winos, and counter guy is talking on phone, has four customers he's dealing with, including one who locked keys in his truck. Pulls out my tablet and shows me it's fixed, bad charging cable. Tablet has crack on screen corner from being dropped and now won't charge at all. I point this out and he said it was charging, but not now. Asked again about testing battery or charging port. Test not done, unsure how much it would cost and I had to talk with technician across town on the phone. Beyond screen replacement, no service is performed at the location. Crappy service, unreliable, and a significant waste of time. Took it elsewhere for diagnosis and repair. read more

Omar and the people at Computer & Cellular Clinic are top-notch. After trying to fix a broken smartphone for a year, Omar was highly recommended to me from several people. First, I had him fix my girlfriend's iMac which had slowed down to a halt. His price was fair and it fixed the problem right up. Then I needed my old Nexus repaired. It took him a few days, and he updated me every step of the way, and finally let me know it was a motherboard issue that couldn't be fixed. I appreciated his hard work and best of all he didn't charge me for being unable to repair my cherished phone. Great service, great prices, great people, what more could you ask for. I came here on a Friday in much distress - my phone had just suddenly decided to die on me. The guys at this place knew exactly what to do - they opened the phone up and saw that I had a bad battery.
