I even spoke to the wife beforehand and she quoted $40 for Windows 10 which is impossible. She even mentioned credit card is accepted as well. I wanted to fix my laptop ASAP and BOY, I was wrong! They both spoke terrible English and never understood or listened to what I wanted. NOBODY is using Windows 7 as it's been discontinued after January14th of this year. Any tech guys would be very knowledgable of what system to run and when to upgrade systems. I was hoping this store would offer a refund or maybe even deduct $40 off and then to upgrade to Windows 10. He said to bring back the laptop so he'll make extra money. This company doesn't know what they're doing. I've had issue with blue screen many times and really needed help running laptop smoothly. He deleted everything from the laptop and installed Windows 7 only. I've previously had lots of photos, Word (PowerPoint, Excel and etc) and other programs there. I really think this company is inexperienced and not professional keeping up with customer service. I ended up going to Aproman Computer on North Road to find out it costs around $100 to upgrade to Windows 10. The laptop is too slow and it was MUCH better buying a new or used laptop instead. **DO not bring your laptop here.** This place deserves 0 star if possible. Avoid this place!

But Memory Express Langley's manager's behavior is remarkably rude and unprofessional. I ordered an i7-13700K Processor Bundle with a Gigabyte Z790 GAMING X AX Mobo for $629 during the Thanksgiving sale a few days ago (attached are the pictures as proof). Today, I received a call from the manager, stating that I must pay an additional $200 due to their error. I would have been fine with this adjustment, but at the time of my purchase, there were several similar bundles available at Canada Computers and NewEgg. Unfortunately, I missed out on those deals because I ordered from Memory Express. As a result, I'm left with no other options. Note that this would have been illegal in Quebec under their consumer protection laws. When I tried to explain this situation to the manager, instead of a simple apology, I was met with a barrage of yelling and unprofessional behavior. What should have been resolved with an apology turned into a heated argument with the manager.

I didn't get an exact quote, but was told it should be around 60$. I told him I didn't care about what it looked like, as long as it turned on. I also told him to let me know if it was going to be more then 60$ I got an email the next day saying it was ready to be picked up. I replied asking what the total was, but I just went In rather then wait around. It worked like a charm, as I tested it out. He had made a custom power button that was cute and actually looked better then the stock one. The total was around 67$ with tax. Fast, friendly, efficient service. I will be back !

The lady was extremely courteous even when I was calling frequently to check on the status of the repair. They had to close due to the coronavirus but made sure that I got my drive back, and didn't charge me anything despite all the hours they put in. I managed to recover a portion of the data myself with a software I purchased, but I'm grateful for all they did for me.

I returned when they said and powered the new one up in-store and found that they had only transferred my desktop. I inquired and they had no idea nor did they have my old computer. The two guys huddled in the other room and I heard one of them say "~he pays more for French keyboards"... Mine was French. I'm a trucker so I have more receipts/expenses than the rest of the public; I lost $50,000.00 in tax receipts because they were from multiple unfiled years.
