This clinic apparently only takes patients on a "case by case" basis. My partner called and…read moreexpressed to the receptionist that she needed help with almost half of the problems on the list of issues this clinic has listed on their website, and felt that she wasn't getting adequate care from her current provider. Of course, my partner took about a week to mentally prepare for this conversation and didn't feel comfortable expressing all of her issues to the receptionist. The next day she received a phone call saying that she didn't qualify for care at this clinic, even though her insurance was accepted and according to the website, she is a perfect candidate for their care. I called the office the next day on her behalf to see what sorts of issues "qualify" for their care, and the receptionist plainly told me that the doctors make the decision based on the single phone call with the receptionist, and that she couldn't tell me what would qualify a person. I asked if my partner could call back and explain herself a little better so that perhaps she could qualify, and the receptionist said no, she would just have to find somewhere else. We were both very excited at the prospect of a clinic that took our insurance that was an accessible distance from our home, but it turned out to be a waste of time and a crock of bullshit. TLDR: Don't get your hopes up about calling this place, they screen from one call with a receptionist and won't accept people who are explicitly asking for help with issues listed on their website, so I'm not sure who they help. We are very disappointed don't want other people who are already struggling with their own mental health to have to go through more trouble, so we will be posting this review on all platforms to let people know. Would give 0 stars if we could.

Dr. April has been amazing to work with! My husband and I went to her to help strengthen our…read morerelationship and work through lingering issues. Right from the start, we both felt at ease because of her demeanor and warmth that seriously fills the room. It sounds cheesy, but it's true that she has such a familiarity that feels like talking to an old friend. She never sugar coated or "babied" us. Her objectivity was always fair and held us accountable. We were never judged for anything we said and she always met us where we were in each session. We also loved the exercises that she gave us to take what we learn in sessions and apply them, in practice, at home. Even though we were sometimes sluggish about completing them, she never made us feel bad about it while still holding us accountable. We would still be with Dr. April if we did not move out of her practicing jurisdiction. We cannot thank her enough for her work with us. Please do yourself and your relationship a favor and work with Dr. April... you will not regret it.

If you love your family members, do not let them go to this office!!!!…read more A member of their office staff crossed an ethical line with my family member. I wish I could say more, but I don't believe this will be posted if I do. When I tried to file a formal complaint, I was met with rudeness and they refused to speak to me or acknowledge the employee's wrong doing. I told them I had irrefutable evidence of the misconduct, but the office manager refused to speak to me about it and said I had no right to complain. That's when I found out they mysteriously lost the paperwork we filled out during the first visit, giving me permission to access my family member's records and speak to them on their behalf. As a representative of the physician, the office staff should be held to the same ethical standards as the doctor, but this office ignores their patients and their family members. I have never encountered a doctors office so unethical in my life, and as much as I'm angry about what they did to my family, I am writing this more for the next family that they could hurt. Do yourself and your family a favor and do not go to this doctors office. Note: If you need to know more information for piece of mind, feel free to message me and I'll share more with you. Anything to protect another family from suffering the same harm they inflicted on us!!
