I was so glad that he took a chance on me since I wasn't "the optimal patient" for tummy tuck surgery,;it changed my life & drastically improved my self confidence even if I wasn't perfect, I was 100% better in my own view. I had several surgeries after my tummy tuck including a neck lift, liposuction, tattoo removal sessions. dog ear removal. I would always recommend his office to everyone I know; you will not be disappointed. I found him by asking the nurses at Liberty Hospital who they would recommend, cause you know the nurses know who really does the best work. Both Dr.'s also volunteer in poverty stricken countries to provide needed surgeries for children, cleft palette, etc... very admirable and generous.

During the examination Dr. Thompson found a mole that turned out to be melanoma. I had the melanoma removed and fortunately didn't need chemotherapy or radiation treatments and I attribute that to Dr. Thompson's attention to detail and care for his patients. After two years, getting several negative dermatological exams, I decided to return to Dr. Thompson to get that tummy tuck. Why did I return to Dr. Thompson? I returned because Dr. Thompson took the time to exam not only the area I asked to have removed but also my entire body. During the initial exam, both two years ago and again this year, he was very thorough. He drew diagrams of what the surgery entailed and explained the results that I would expect from the surgery. He didn't have flash cards of the body and point out things on the flash card. He actually drew, on paper, the procedures he would perform. His attention to detail was amazing. He took the time to answer all questions that I had. I had my surgery December 1st, 2014. I am now 7 weeks post op and the results are amazing!! Since having my surgery I have seen Dr. Thompson five times. Not because I had any complications, which I didn't, but because Dr. Thompson wanted follow up visits to ensure the healing process was proceeding like it should and answer any questions that I may have had. I guess I expected to have the surgery and see him one more time to have the stitches removed and never see him again. I'm glad that I was wrong about that. Another thing that I found interesting was the office staff two years ago was the same office staff that is there now. I found that to be a positive sign of what type of person he was and how much he cared for his staff. Everyone that I have talked to at his office are professional and compassionate people. Just like Dr. Thompson. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff to take care of any plastic surgery needs you may have. It will be the best physician experience you will ever have.

HOW this man has any positive reviews illustrates the power of unethical Public Relations…read more It has taken me well over a year and continued trauma therapy to be able to sit down and start writing reviews on Dr. Singhal. I HIGHLY WARN EVERYONE!!! DO MORE RESEARCH!! - He is a trained anesthesiologist yet has chosen to spend the remainder of his career obviously trying to make as much money as possible by "attempting" to be a plastic surgeon. - His only medical staff (outside of a surgery center) is HIS WIFE!! I had my implants ruptured in a terrible domestic violence situation and unable to return to England (where I had them done originally) so, based on good appointments and his demeaner and a couple photos I made the decision to go under the knife with Dr. Singhal. - I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHARE ANY PHOTOS WITH ANYONE! Find me on Facebook or email Michellefigg1@gmail.com. 1) He did not send me home wrapped up and told me to shower whenever. (The surgeon I had initially who did a remarkable job had me wrapped for a week!) 2) From the first few weeks I began sending photos by text showing open wounds and told "not to worry" 3) He cut off my nipples (the other surgeon didn't!!) and he sewed them on in HUGE ovals, not centered and with terrible open wounds that lead to terrible scars) 4) They are not centered and even though I had them enlarged slightly I have absolutely no cleavage. 5) When I push my breasts together to fake cleavage, they make the nipples invert and point (similar to crossed eyes). 6) They hang off of the sides of my rib cage and are not centered. 7) I am unable to wear ANY BATHINGSUIT unless it is like a sports bra and covers my entire chest because nipples hang out and there is no cleavage. 8) The gap between my breasts is FOUR INCHES!! 9) He said he would reposition them and set up the surgery but then demanded that I pay for the surgery center and anesthesiologist again! 10) An ultrasound on my breasts this past September revealed HE LEFT SILICONE INSIDE MY RIGHT CAPSULE!! (He said he spent an extra hour to get all the leakage removed.) Obviously not!! 10) I sent pictures and messages for over a year and in May 2025 received a text saying: "We will no longer honor any of your appointments! The results are not the fault of the doctor." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHO CUT THEM OFF AND PUT THEM ON WRONG? WHO CUT OFF MY (ONCE VERY SMALL) NIPPLES AND SEWED ON HUGE OVALS THAT DO NOT MATCH EACH OTHER? WHO AGREED TO REPOSITION (thus saying there is a problem) BUT THEN DIDN'T HONOR IT unless I forked out more money? Because of this, I have lost over a year of my life, required inpatient psychiatric help, didn't work for over a year and I still attend trauma therapy. This is a service industry, and we spend a great deal of money when doing plastic surgery. ANY mistakes on the part of the doctor should be fixed. Customer/patient satisfaction and reviews should be of paramount importance. This surgeon is negligent and makes the "Hippocratic Oath" turn into the "Hypocrite Oath" Now that I am employed as a teacher again, I am now on a substantial number of psychiatric medications and continued therapy to manage my day-to-day depression and PTSD when looking in the mirror. I have been seeking legal advice and have confirmation that Dr. Singhal meets all 4 criteria for a medical malpractice case. The only reason I am unable to act on this is because of the statute of limitations in Missouri. I have been too unwell to be able to seek legal help until now and have missed my opportunity. However....I have certainly NOT missed my opportunity to WARN as many potential patients as possible. I intend to do just this. I now must spend the next few years trying to save money to be able to afford another surgeon who can make me look like a normal woman again (and not like I should be on an episode of "Botched!") My romantic life is almost impossible because I won't take off my shirt and when I wear a normal bra I have nipples exposed and one breast higher than the other. He's left me in a terrible situation and should not be able to practice medicine in the field of plastic surgery. He has ruined my life! This is an unethical husband and wife team who have absolutely no business doing plastic surgery! SAVE YOURSELF AND PASS THE WORD! Contact me for photos or questions...I am MORE than happy to show ANYTHING if it will save others!

He gave lots of great tips on making recovery more bearable and healing time faster. He even stayed in contact with my husband to see how I was doing. Not many surgeons are this caring, yet extremely talented in what they do. He was very detail oriented, realistic about the process, and in the best way a perfectionist. I couldn't be happier with his work and have recommended him to everyone I talk to. Go see him and thank me later!!!

After having an x-ray, she was told she indeed had a fracture and was referred to Liberty Hospital Orthopedics. A couple of days later she was contacted by Liberty Hospital Orthopedics and was told there was nothing they could do and that she should see an orthopedic surgeon. What? Isn't that what they do? I then took her to our usual orthopedic clinic, Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance, where she was seen by a surgeon's assistant. They x-rayed her foot and they told us her fractures were minor and there was no need to do anything more than wear the protective shoe she was given, and her toes would heal just fine. Liberty Orthopedics created a huge fiasco that demonstrated huge incompetence. If they can't diagnose broken toes, what makes anyone think they can handle more serious orthopedic issues. Pitiful. A Male Nurse's review of this health facility:…read more Being a nurse at KUMED- Surgical Intensive Care Unit...I wanted to give an insight on this place. Since I work in the hospital setting, this cataract center really intrigued me because of how different the atmosphere this place has is in many pleasant ways. I must say that I'm quite impressed with the overall feel of this cataract center. I brought my grandpa in to get his right eye done and from the moment I drove up to this place I had already made pleasant preconceptions about this place. The center/surgical rooms are inside a building that looks like a cottage straight out of a fairy tale. It doesn't look like a hospital at all and I think that is a very important element to address, because the usual setting of a hospital can be quite terrifying for most people. Making it seem like a home takes away a lot of stress of going into surgery, such as the "white coat syndrome" where many patients have a variable set of vital signs due to the unnerving feeling of being at the doctor's office like a spike in blood pressure everytime a doctor is in the room. I love how the staff is amazingly nice. The receptionist was quite lovely and got the patients checked in a timely manner despite it being quite a morning rush of appointments being received. The nurses/aides are all phenomenally receptive and sensitive to the fact that I needed to be present whenever they would be spouting out medical jargon to my grandpa. As a nurse myself I have a great respect for fellow nurses that are patient and stay pleasant at all times. I was most impressed with the Nurse Anesthetist. I inquired about how long he had been a nurse and his experiences. He was very nice and told me all about his career. I'm aspiring to be a CRNA one day and it was very inspiring to hear someone of his caliber and experience of almost 30 years. Whenever professionals take the time to answer questions thoroughly (especially since I had many questions about my grandpa's surgery such as what medications they will use...on a side note I learned something new about a particular sedative called Midazolam or Versed; I give it in intravenously at my work but here they use a pediatric method of administering it sublingually, which is apparently quite effective in quick surgeries such as my grandpa's cataract surgery that will approximately take 6 minutes to accomplish) because it means that they are taking full responsibility in making sure that proper education is done because as they say "discharge teaching starts as soon as the patient walks in through the front door"...well I guess just us nurses day that. :) An awesome bonus was how stocked they were on free goodies the provide for patients and visitors. As you walk in your greeted by a basket full of candy...and not just your typically cheap tootsie rolls or dum dums, but actualy chocolate such as kit-kats and Reese's! Next to them are rows and rows of coffe mugs that have plants in them for you to take home. With the surgery being done at 8am it was nice of them to provide a keurig coffee maker and a large box of fresh donuts from a popular donut joint down the street. Overall I am quite satisfied with the care and ambience of this place. He will have his left eye done in roughly two weeks and I won't mind coming back here. Such an awesome health facility. If ever you need cataract surgery, make sure to inquire about Liberty Cataract Center! If you don't live near here there is also a location in St. Jo Missouri!

(Only criticism.=I am "not happy"to see that they have gone to "Phyreesia" a new appointment system requiring complicated phone or online form to checkin for appointments. Having previously endured another physicians office using this system I gave up trying to wade through the new form and arrived early, where the staff assisted me. Hopefully this will become easier for me in time.) I first went to McKnights because I thought I had a droopy eyelid affecting my vision. Testing showed that this was not a problem. I discovered instead that, like my grandmother, I was developing glaucoma and cataracts. I remembered helping my grandmother for years with her nightly eyedrops and my brother lost use of one eye to macular degeneration so I was thankful I had not put off eye care. I had also developed type2 diabetes so eye care is also important with that. I began using prescribed eye drops and had regular 6 month exams to monitor the pressure in my eyes. Eventually the cataracts advanced enough that Dr. Brett suggested surgery. This was done at a different nearby office by another of the McKnight family. It was also mentioned that it might also be possible to do something surgically to help with the glaucoma. The surgeries went very well. I was able to go from wearing my trifocals to only wearing reading glasses. Stents were placed in each eye that help reduce the build up of pressure caused by my type of glaucoma. I still had to use the eye drops for a few months but follow up showed the stents were working and I was able to stop using the nightly eyedrops. I now have 6 month checkups and have recommended their office to friends. The waiting room is large and very comfortable with a pod coffee machine. The wait is sometimes too short for that coffee but no problem having one on the way out. If you happen to have an appointment around the holidays you will be impressed with how creative they can be with decorating.
