I always appreciate how she shares super helpful insights on skincare, maintenance, and prevention--it's clear she's passionate about what she does. What I really love is the care she puts into her patients and her room. It's decorated to match her personality perfectly--warm, welcoming, and with this personal touch that makes you feel right at home. And don't even get me started on the bird feeder she's set up outside her window... It's such a sweet detail that just speaks to how thoughtful she is. Highly recommend Karina for anyone looking for an aesthetician who truly cares and makes the whole experience not just great for your skin, but also for your spirit!

So even though I would have to travel, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm SO glad I did. The entire staff at Monarch made me feel welcome and valued. Dr. Spaniol and his nurse Kimber are two very genuine and caring people. They make you feel like an individual, not just "the next patient." Once the procedures were over and I went home, Dr. Spaniol & Kimber checked on me the days, weeks and even months following; to make sure I was still happy and comfortable (which I am), and if I had any concerns (which I don't). I've never had any MD check up on me 5-6 months after I saw them last. My results are truly phenomenal and I feel like a new person. I've never felt so confident. Dr. Spaniol is an incredibly skilled surgeon, takes pride in his work, and continues to follow up to make sure you're satisfied. Highly recommend, 100/100!

I was hoping to be sharing a 5 star review, but it did not turn out that way for me. The positive…read moreof the surgery, is my nasal hump is gone and my profile is good. The negatives are I now have a front profile that I hate! My nose is twice as wide as before the surgery, I have nostril asymmetry, which makes my nose look crooked, and multiple bumps and divots in the bone/cartilage. The worst though is that I have lost feeling in the lower half of my nose. It has been over 14 months and I have been told there is less than a 2% chance it will return. As for Dr. Markey and his staff, it all started out well, but by 6 weeks post-op things changed. Some of the phrases said to me by Dr. Markey; "Well I can only get the plane in the air; the rest is out of my hands." "Yep, it looks awful!" "You know if you are not happy, you do not have to come back and see us." And if those weren't bad enough, his assistant told me at my 6-month post op, "You're not 18 anymore, not sure what you expected, but you are not going to heal well." I honestly think Dr. Markey does great work, is personable and has a great bedside manner. However, I just don't think he, nor his team, know how to deal with a bad surgical outcome, which is what I experienced and am still experiencing over 1 year post-op.

I have been unhappy with my nose for the last 10-15 years and over the last 3-4 years, it became progressively more of an issue. I hated the appearance in photos of my bulbous tip and wide alar base. In 2022 I underwent my first (primary) rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills which was a closed rhinoplasty. The surgeon was VERY conservative and unfortunately, he over-promised and under-delivered. After 2 years of contemplation, I made the decision to schedule a consultation with Dr. Markey for a revision rhinoplasty. I was immediately impressed with how easy it was to schedule a visit with him, the affordability of his consult fee (only $75 as compared to other surgeons who charge upward of $200 for a consultation) and most importantly how courteous and kind his staff were! His nurse Kelsie is incredibly warm and professional. Dr. Markey's bedside manner left me feeling sure that I was in very capable and proficient hands. As a physician myself, I am familiar with how busy a day in clinic can become, however Dr. Markey gave me undivided attention and took the time to answer all of my (and my mother's) questions during our first visit. He thoroughly examined my nose and I appreciate how receptive he was to my concerns. He gave me a very realistic idea of what he could accomplish (which was aligned with what I wanted to change) and I knew from that first visit that he was undoubtedly going to be able to deliver. Between my first consultation and surgery day (about 2 month time frame), I was able to ask more questions to Dr. Markey in an email, which he replied to the same day! He and his staff were incredibly consistent in their communication with me pre and post-op. The day of surgery came quickly and I really appreciated the surgical team at St. Luke's South, which is one of his surgery sites. On the morning of surgery, we reviewed the plan together and within a few hours, I was awake and feeling great! Post-op pain was very manageable and swelling peaked on day 3. I got my cast off and splints removed last Friday 10/4/24 and I am BLOWN AWAY at how beautiful my nose looks. My first rhinoplasty was incredibly underwhelming and down right disappointing as hardly any changes were made to my nose. This time, I was able to see the natural and significant changes right away. Surprisingly, the swelling has gone down tremendously each day since the cast was removed, and each day I see more and more definition. If my final results were what I see in the mirror today, I would absolutely be happy with these results! My nose is contoured to fit my face, and Dr. Markey created a soft scoop in my profile, refined the tip and used a combination Weir and nasal sill excision to reduce nostril flare and narrow the width of my nasal base. I have always been self conscious about my smile (because my nose would spread wide, become flat, tip would drop) but now I am able to smile confidently without feeling embarrassed. He has given me such an invaluable gift that I never thought possible. I still look like myself and I am so grateful that my nose still fits my face. He has truly harmonized my nose with the rest of my features. I am bi-racial (white/black) and was initially apprehensive because most of Dr. Markey's patients appear to be Caucasian, however I can say with the utmost confidence that Dr. Markey is gifted in his craft and able to create a beautiful nose for anyone!

My breast augmentation was 2.5 years ago and they are SO far apart that when I lay down they go completely opposite directions. They are SUPER uneven and sit in different positions / shapes. I went back to Dr. quinn after going to several other surgeons (who all said I had a completely botched boob job) and needed several revisions including a LIFT. I am in my 20s and and on a 2 year post surgery already needed a breast lift. Dr.quinn himself said I needed multiple revisions and he would do the surgery (not that I feel comfortable with him doing it again) and his office would send over a "quote" to fix HIS original job. Weeks later and still have no email with quote from his office. Needless to say, I have found another amazing doctor and getting them fixed finally.

IN MY OPINION, I found Dr. Le to be lacking expertise, impersonal and uncaring and some kind of arrangement with Mosiac. She would not perform a simple plastic surgery procedure without a CT scan. Dr. Le's quote on her website: "Mosaic Life Care offered me the opportunity to practice the wide scope of plastic surgery." Paid the $65 consult fee, which was to be applied to the surgery for Dr. Le to tighten a small area of skin. When I made the appt. I asked the receptionist if Dr. Le performed two other plastic surgery procedures but the receptionist said she didn't know, to ask Dr. Le at the consult. The consult was rushed, lasting about 4 minutes. Dr. Le told me she would not do the plastic surgery procedure of tightening a small area of skin without a CT scan, (in my opinion confusing her degree in plastic surgery with family practice medicine). I told her I couldn't afford A CT scan, that I didn't have insurance and that a CT scan would cost more than the plastic surgery, but Dr. Le continued to write the CT order, handed it to me and stood up to walk away. I told her I had two other procedures to ask if she performed, but she said they were not in her notes from the receptionist, so she couldn't discuss them with me and left the room, leaving me stunned. While leaving, I told the receptionist that Dr. Le told me she would not do the plastic surgery procedure without a CT scan, that I couldnt afford a CT scan and THERFORE I would not and could not use Dr. Lee, that I was going to see another doctor, and asked for a refund of the consult fee that was supposed to go for the surgery. The receptionist said I must speak to the manager about a refund but after 7 messages for the manager to call me back and the receptionist constantly saying the manager was out of town ( during a months time) the manager never called me. Meanwhile I went to another plastic surgeon who agreed to fix the area and never mentioned a CT scan. I called Dr. Le's office again, told the receptionist that another doctor agreed to fix the area without a CT scan, that Dr. Le had raised the bar too high for me to use her, by requiring a CT Scan and that I wanted the consult fee refunded to me. I told the receptionist that the manager never returned my calls. The receptionist called me back later that day and said she talked to BOTH the manager and Dr. Lee and they both said they would NOT refund the consult fee. IN MY OPINION this office is unreasonable, that Dr. Le does not have enough expertise as a plastic surgeon to do a procedure without a CT scan, and that perhaps Dr. Le has some sort of arrangement on CT scan orders.
