I have really loved my experience at Laseraway so far. My patient coordinator has been Emily and she is really wonderful and down to earth. She's super informative on all the treatments done at this location and was very accurate in describing the procedures and aftercare and what to expect (she also has done C&B). Emily answered all my questions and I felt really comfortable being in the office and treatment rooms...I've never done anything like this but I can say the office doesn't feel "too medical" (to where it feels impersonal and cold). But this location is extremely clean and professional. I had nurse Faye as my nurse for my first Clear & Brilliant laser treatment. Nurse Faye is really wonderful. I explained that I use natural products and she was very respectful of that and gave me some great tips with my aftercare. I like that they aren't pushy about buying only their own products If you're not up for it. My treatment went as expected because I received so much detailed info on what to expect beforehand. I was very comfortable throughout. I was super numb so the C&B laser felt like a gentle roller tool and some heat...like a sunburn as things progressed. A couple hours after the treatment, I was shocked at how quickly my redness and sunburn feeling subsided. In just a couple hours I felt totally normal...honestly. I'm thinking I'm maybe an anomaly or something because I expected to be red or experiencing pain or something. A couple days after, my skin has a very fine slight sandpaper feel which is normal (and is what I was told to expect). It's not something you can see so honestly I don't think anyone else notices I had a treatment. It's very mild and not bothersome at all. I've been wearing the SPF and a hat when outside during the day to protect my skin and keeping my face regimen simple. I paid for a 6-treatment package which they recommend...so I'm looking forward to comparing my before/after. Honestly I was so nervous about pain and redness before the treatment, but my actual experience was almost unnoticeable after the first couple hours. I'm amazed! I appreciate Emily and Faye for all their hospitality and support throughout the whole process. They are the real MVP. Great Hours and friendly, informative staff! I was able to get an appointment within a week of choosing my package. The room I received treatment in was clean, comfortable, and had entertainment options - though I just had a BLAST chatting with my nurse, Faye. I highly recommend paying her a visit! Faye performed my injections and took care to explain the procedures before and during and answered my numerous questions. She talked me through options for unit use (where and how many for xeomin) and possible lip shapes (filler). She thoroughly explained aftercare and I was able to book a follow up appt to ensure that I had achieved my desired effects. Graham and Emily at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and (not that this matters - but it does - for the vibe) Uber stylish. They really set the tone for the visit feeling posh. They were wonderful to talk with and sold me on the Premium rewards program (it's a deal). To round out the review- I'd like to note I've had similar services at a few places in the KC metro area. First off, I would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone I have delt with here has been amazing to work with! Cierra was the one that contacted me over the phone when I first inquired. She went above and beyond to take care of getting everything set up. Even at 10pm she was on the phone and computer with me. And I had my 1st treatment today and she messaged me after I got home to see how it went. The man and woman at the reception desk were also so helpful and very knowledgeable about all the products and answered all my questions and were kind and very accommodating. This place is about a 2 hour drive for me, but I will never go anywhere else!! Would recommend them to anyone interested in their services, especially anyone starting out for the 1st time. I was initially called right away after showing Interest on Instagram. The salesperson wasted no time to give me all the nitty gritty before sending the contact to my email. I had an appointment within a week at LaserAway. The waiting is comfortable and inviting. Faye preformed my first service. Faye was very kind a relatable. We talked about our dogs and lot of other things while the laser was being serviced. My second service was by Kandace. I was happily surprised to see her because she was in the advertisement the lured me to this company. I trusted her testimony about darker skin being treated and showed interest. I have always hated shaving and it's given me nothing but problems my whole life. Every single person that I've spoken to before my first appointment was so nice and helpful. They're happy to answer any question you have and I felt so confident going in for the first time. I was super worried about the Brazilian part, but Faye and Cassidy made me feel so at ease! I had the best experience today at Laser Way! Upon entering Emily was attentive and informative! I loved seeing the studio and learning about other services offered. Melissa then took me in for my face and underarm removal! If you're on the fence, just do it. It's minimally uncomfortable and you'll leave with excitement for the next session. I am so grateful for these ladies! Melissa and Hazel are both so good at what they do. They are warm and professional and very knowledgeable. I just so happened to have an intense reaction to the laser treatments- it's incredibly painful!! I'm getting a tattoo removed that is 23 years old- it's large in the center of my upper back. One of the most sensitive areas to receive treatments! But they have helped me get through my treatments with so much compassion.
