Prior to our appointment, we discussed payment and I was very disappointed to find that the charges for adults and children were different. When it came time to pay we ended up paying $400.00 for my adult daughter and me when I thought it would only $200.00 as discussed over the phone. They were unwilling to negotiate and would not provide direction on the numerous forms we felt out unless we came back. Ugh...I am just so sad people cannot be more forthcoming. Upon meeting Dr. Lum for the first time you can immediately feel very comfortable thru his kind and caring way. I knew that I did not feel well and that something was wrong with my health. I went to my own doctor and was sent to an endocrinologist to conduct some tests . I had many symptoms including darkness around my mouth, extreme fatigue, weight gain, etc. I had recently lost my mother that I cared for the last 30 years and after my tests came out "normal" the endocrinologist said that I was just deeply depressed. Well, I was deeply depressed, but I knew that my physical health was a problem. As it turns out through blood and urine testing so much has been uncovered about my health status. Dr. Lum is treating me for the health issues discovered including, MTHFR, heavy metal toxicity, cellular hypothyroid, vitamin deficiencies, neurotransmitter imbalance, adrenal fatigue, weight gain and years of constipation issues. I sat in their waiting room and watched people come and go for OVER AN HOUR before I finally walked out. All I can say is: If this is how you TREAT A NEW PATIENT, I'm not a new patient of yours any longer!!! I am now looking for a new provider. Holy cow. Learn some customer service.
