It is with a heavy heart I am writing this review. Dr. Hollis and his staff were like family to my…read morehusband and I. We always hugged them when we saw them. My story is long but here is the end result: My husband was in an auto accident. His primary doctor recommended surgery. Dr. Hollis swore he could repair my husband's shoulder. My husband didn't really want to have surgery and out his faith in Dr. Hollis. In his documentation, Hollis chatted my husband was "pain free" after treatment. My husband has never been pain free since his accident. This documentation by Hollis caused the insurance company to settle much lower than they should have. THEN Hollis PUT A LIEN ON THE SETTLEMENT AND TOOK HALF OF IT. Once we finally got the detailed statement of charges from Hollis (after all was done) we noted several charges for treatments that were NOT performed. About $9,000 dollars worth of trumped up charges. My husband will now be in pain for the remainder of his days. Just a few months prior to the accident, Hollis told my mom he could heal her bilateral lung cancer. I am an RN and I believe in holistic medicine, but this practice does seem to be a bit of a sham.

"Doctor" Hollis is a scam artist. I have an autoimmune condition and had been frustrated with…read moretraditional western medicine and thought perhaps he could offer some alternatives. Our first consultation included an hour of discussion about my ailments, and about inappropriate concerns. He wanted to know my religion and would not stop discussing his faith. He demanded to know if I was married and about my sex life. I thought perhaps these questions were necessary for his path of treatment. Then, he insisted I come in again for another "consultation" which was just a continued discussion. Each of these visits were billed upwards of $300 but were "necessary" for him to compile a treatment plan. When I finally came in for the treatment plan, he simply tried to sell me a bunch of supplements and vitamins, continuing to nickel and dime. He had no answers for me. No real medicine or diagnosis, no real direction. Simply a laundry list of things I had to buy from him. Throughout this endeavor, he conducted bloodwork on me twice and sent if off to Boston Heart Diagnostics. I did not consent to the ridiculous pricing that I was later billed from them, and Dr. Hollis insisted he would negotiate the lowest fees possible. The first time he drew my blood, it took four attempts for him to locate a vein and when he finally did, I had a HUGE 4 inch bruise surrounding the site for weeks afterwards. With an autoimmune disease and several surgeries in my past, I've had my blood drawn hundreds of times and I can assure you this was the most abhorrent and unprofessional experience I've had. Do no let this man draw your blood. The second time he drew my blood, it was URGENT and he insisted I come in right away because some of my results were alarming - he claimed it was entirely the lab's fault and there were some problems with the original blood draw that indicated I could potentially be in GRAVE DANGER... so, I came in and he did additional blood work as I was obviously concerned. I was later billed for both of this blood testing sessions and Boston Heart claims it was actually user (doctor) error. In summary, Scott Hollis is a scam artist who essentially sold my blood for profit as I'm certain he gets a kickback from Boston Heart. Not to mention, he is INCREDIBLY ARROGANT and talks down to you every step of the way. He goes on rants and utilizes intimidation with his patients, asking them questions and then answering them in a matter-of-fact demeaning way. Scott Hollis did not stop contacting me during this process, calling after hours and on weekends, to ensure he could suck all of the money out of me as possible. Yet, after my supposed "treatment plan" was given, he did not reach out a single time and I have not heard from him since. This is incredibly demonstrative of his con-artist ways. Over $1,200 later, and I have no help or answers. Also, don't get me started on the way he was talking to his wife. Absolutely disgusting.
