I contacted several pool repair people to retile my pool and Mike came out, vs giving me a quote over the phone. I supplied the tile and materials. His workers excel in mediocrity. I had them re-do several places because it looked terrible. One part they re-did still looks terrible. The plaster patch was rough and had to be sanded. They didn't clean up the sanded plaster and made nothing but excuses for the poor work. The end result is ok but was a huge headache. Mike made nothing but excuses for the poor work. His workers left trash laying around, poured dirty water on my oregano and mint plants and even tossed a couple of beer bottle caps in my ice plant. Run, don't walk away from these clowns! In response to the owner's comments. It's true I ordered a thicker tile but that wasn't the issue I was talking about. If expecting someone to do their best is an unrealistic expectation, then yes, I'm guilty. read more

We called Mike who professionally arrived to our home on time and with all the necessary tools. He put on his stethoscope to locate the leak. Mike is a knowledgable and trustworthy person who does business honestly and right. He has integrity. When i purchased my home 3 yr ago, i had a few estimates from other plumbing businesses who said i needed to get my gas line replaced. I couldn't get enough flow from the gas line to the spa heater (which was my issue). Rather than taking some simple troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the issue, others were quick to conclude i needed new gas lines which was estimated to be between 12k - 15k. It was something i cannot afford. I held back for 3 yrs because of this. I then found Mike, who was a god send. Mike came out, diagnoses the issue and was confident he can use some C02 to blast out some sitting water and debris in my gas line (which was 30+ yrs old). Surely enough, he did that and all is well. The owner Mike is horrible at customer service and His pool guy George even worse! Had him supposedly clean our pool since June but never once did he clean the pool the way it's supposed to be cleaned. Would just show up and pour chlorine and add chlorine tablets. I let him know about 4 times that he needed to at least scrub the walls and vacuum the pool because it was so dirty and I was the one having to go in and do his job by hand! The day I finally call the office to complain about his work I was told that Mike would be notified since this was not the first complaint. But instead of getting a positive response I am sent a text that pretty much states they will no longer be servicing our pool. Kept calling to speak with mike and office and no answer. No reply to our voicemails either. I finally call from a different number and Mike answered right away all he said was yeah well I can't force George to clean your pool if he refuses to. Of course George made it seem like he was doing his job when my security cameras show other wise and that it was our pump that wasn't working. A brand new pump. Bought the one Mike had recommended for our pool so what then. Mike's attitude was not professional just was told to pour a gallon of chlorine until we find another pool service. So pretty much do what George was doing every week he came. I should of spoke up sooner and not paid these type of people! So i hired this company to Purchase and install a new heater for my pool. HIs installer was 2 hours late and i could not get a response from the company for the same amount of time... I let them do the install since they did have the new unit already when they did show up. They proceeded to install the unit buy running the pipes from the left side of the new unit to the opposite side. I asked the installer if the unit was able to be reversed as most are and he said no not this unit. about 3 weeks later the pipes are shaking from use an are loosing the plastic nut that tightens the pipe to the unit. I did research on the unit and found out the installer lied to me about the unit as it was supposed to be reversed as it was made to do. This would have taken 30 min. to do but did not. Now the company refuses to correct the issue even with me telling him i will go to the Contractors state license board.... And i quote"See you there".... Run away from this company! Mike's plaster crew left water bottles strewn in our landscape, cement globs on our flagstone walkways and did not follow up on brushing the pool of white streaks on the plaster surface. There was damage to our waterfall as well, and Mike make the fix with cement incompatible with the rock surrounding it. When attempting to follow up on the plaster issue, Mike just said it would go away. Calls to his office employee (?), Michelle, were left unanswered. Our pool pump and equipment are away from the house so besides putting the panels on the roof it involved running pipes along the block wall and cutting and replacing concrete. They did a terrific job, the pipes were painted to match the wall.
