I am going to keep this short because I could go on for days about the work this company does. I did not believe the inspector when he came out to go over everything with me when I bought the home, I mean I was flabbergasted by the amount of things wrong with just the heating and AC system, and believe me I've got steam coming from both ears! I'll put it this way, if you want to use a company that sells lemons, and cuts corners to keep their prices down, then by golly this is the place for you. For me, I enjoy quality and comfort knowing that what I invest in is going to be exactly what I pay for in price, the higher, the better. But when you buy a home and the "new" AC and heating system wasn't installed with a permit or the ducting tunnels were not tested, then you have a major problem. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they did not pull a permit and get the job inspected or tested. So now the city is filing a case against them due to the amount of hazardous asbestos and illegal venting they tried to rig together to just get it done. I also got a call from the contractors board because they have been turned in to the city via the inspector and even the contractors board wants pictures to get involved. That's how bad this has gotten for me. I have got random people from different organizations coming to my house just to see and make note of the horrible and illegal work this company did. I can go on and on and on but that alone would shoe me away from using a this company. Plus I am not one to leave reviews but I am trying to save some people time and money from going through the same process I am going through. When getting a estimate for work, I suggest you get multiple bids maybe 4-6 and see what the median price range is and then go with your gut and go with the one of the median companies. Heck I'd even go with one of the higher bid companies if they impressed and educated me enough. Cheap is not always easiest, these guys are cheap and let me tell you it's a lot harder now than it would have been if the last home owners had spent money with a solid company that does outstanding work. I had A/C problem with water leaking out from furnace, after having 3 professional checks, it was the evaporator coil that got rusty and leaked out condensed water, so I needed to replace that and the furnace as well since the two units are almost 30 years old, the furnace is not up the the regulatory code ( gas line ) any more. Besides, the coil unit is on top of the furnace, it's at best to replace both rather change one now and have to change another one later, not cost effective. Comparing all three estimates, BWR gives the best value for the price, 10 yrs warranty for parts and labors, using Rheem brand. Brian, the owner, explained everything in details, he's very professional in deed. Even though his price is higher than the other two, but for price to value, I've chosen BWR to do the job. Brian is very nice and kind to give me some discount. He even changed the new thermostat for me. Now the new units will serve us well for many summers and winters to come!!! Our AC went out the other night (on Friday no less) and we knew it was going to be a hot weekend so we had to figure something out quick! Our AC unit (18yrs old) stopped blowing cool air. Called Absolute and they were here the next day. Milo and Brian looked over the old unit, it was hot but they didn't rush, taking time to look at everything. Both were honest about the amount of work that was needed and explained all options from short fix to long term. We ended up deciding on a complete new system, including new ductwork. Their team was here the very next day and got to work. Isaiah/Odene and Jose were very polite, worked all day for two days, cleaned up completely each day and didn't leave until they were sure everything was working 100% to our satisfaction. The new system is amazing. Come to my hous and try sell me stuff I don't need. Tell me carbon moxide leaking and it not safe for me family. Tell me I need to charg my AC compressor with 9 ponds of freon and it going to cost $600 for freon. I call some one other and the guy tell me I have bad ignition start box. It cost me $340 to fix unit and get working again for my family and kids and work good. I ask about Carbon moxide so he took camera and there was no crack in the exchanger heater part like BWr said. They lie to me and want take my money for work not need be done. Very very sad to lie and very dishonest persons. Never trust guys. During one of our last awful heat waves our upstairs unit went out. I contacted BWR and was so very happy I did. Mind you this was a Friday afternoon. Brian is the bomb, he found a way to work us in to his schedule that very day to find out what was wrong. He figured it out right away luckily but of course there was no way to fix it properly that afternoon. He then took it home to rebuild it to help get us thru the weekend. WHAT A LIFE SAVER!!! At that point he was our rock star. He and his guys took great care of us the beginning of the week and got us all up and running. Very professional and economically priced. Omar & Adrian were FANTASTIC!! We had another of the "big firms in the valley", who advertise a lot in Palm Springs, and they failed to respond to the specific request and my "amateur" diagnosis I had done by searching the web. They charged $400 to do, basically, NOTHING! Omar understood exactly what I was explaining, went directly to the wiring problem and rewired the NEST thermostat and the termination point on our package unit. Only charged the $99 service call since is was a straight-forward fix!! And, they were very friendly and courteous!! BWR is now our new go-to for all HVAC problems (we have one large package unit and 2 "split" units). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

My air conditioner broke on the hottest day of the summer, while my family was visiting from out of state. I called up BWR when I got home that evening. I got a call back from the owner within 30 minutes. They came out to my house the next morning and had everything fixed by noon. The owner was able to show me exactly what was wrong and quote me an extremely reasonable price. When all the work was done I was charged "under" the quoted amount. That never happens! Found BWR via a friend of a friend...Boy was it the best call we ever made! I had two OLD original units 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs and he kept both of them alive until we saved up the money to install two new units. Brian's repair cost on the OLD units were very reasonable and fair. When it was time to replace both units I called up Brian and he gave me a deal I could not refuse and both units were installed on a Saturday! Just need to leave another review to give all the praise in the world to Tony C.! He performed our tune-up and got us all scheduled for having our ducts replaced. The guys were super nice and fast with the duct work! And when we had a different issue with the gas pressure, Tony was super dedicated and came back to ensure we got the right fix.
