Carlos was quick to respond and provided a fair quote after sending him appropriate photos and videos of my home. Scheduling was quick and easy. On the day of the install, Trevor was the superstar and performed the installation for all the systems. Jimmy also stopped by to quickly add an electrical outlet for the water softening system. Trevor was kind, worked efficiently, and was very good at confirming exact details with how we wanted our systems installed (e.g., where we wanted the softening system to drain, the exact location for the reverse osmosis faucet). His work on the pipes was also very clean, and he did a great job educating me on how to use the systems and proper maintenance. They also threw in a free first bag of salt. I would say I had to do every couple of months now after years of Lifesource once a year and it's not nearly as bad as it ever was before. While, you do have to plan for those expenses, they are long lasting. over time it was less that our collective monthly expenses, especially if the maintenance by hand that was required was considered. When we were evaluating the system. It sounded expensive until I did the math on what we were paying for soft water which my husband dislikes the feel of. The difference is immediately recognizable in showers for hair and skin is something far better than I was .expecting. The water coming out of the tap is great! We do have a reverse osmosis for ice. The grey water every two weeks is used for the lawn and outside plants, so no waste and no big delivery trucks on the street on a regular basis. I'm very disappointed with my experience with **LifeSource Water**…read more Yesterday, I spoke with one of their customer service representatives regarding a water test I had done. **My drinking water was tested specifically for magnesium, and the test result was 450 mg/L (milligrams per liter).** This raised concerns for me about the quality of my water and whether my LifeSource system was addressing the issue. During our conversation, I was told that the LifeSource system does not remove minerals such as magnesium and that I would need a reverse osmosis system with a carbon filter to address the issue. He also mentioned that my refrigerator filter might possibly help. I was also told that the LifeSource system primarily removes chemicals. This information was never clearly explained to me before I made such a significant investment. I was not given a water test before purchasing the system, and I now feel that I did not have all the information I needed to make an informed decision. As a result, I'm back to purchasing bottled water from the store. I recognize that I share some responsibility for not researching the purchase more thoroughly. However, I believe customers should be given a clear explanation of exactly what a water filtration system does and does not remove, especially before making such a large investment.
