The raised spa is one of our favorite features and gives it that resort vibe. Corey was awesome to work with, very responsive, easygoing, and kept everything on track. The biggest surprise was how fast it all came together... they finished the entire pool and spa in less than 3 months, which is pretty amazing. Overall, just a smooth process and a really beautiful result. We're out here all the time now. Highly recommend Corey and his team!

We…read moredid a big backyard remodel and were initially trying to decide if we wanted to go with a landscaping company that would subcontract the pool just to keep it under one roof. I am so incredibly glad we didn't do that and chose to go with SD Pools instead. We initially met with Josh, who walked us through everything (timeline, cost, the process, etc). Once the build started, we worked with our project manager, Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure things happened in a timely fashion and that we would be happy with the final project. Chad has been handling our maintenance for the last month and has been absolutely fantastic. And they were always a text or call away to answer any silly questions throughout. You can truly tell that this team takes pride in their work. They are communicative, easy to work with, above and beyond helpful, and the pool itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything turned out exactly how we wanted. Got my baja shelf and we're ready to summer lol. I can't say enough good things!

Thank you Allen! You're the best!…read more I highly recommend Allen with Taylor Made Pools! He did an amazing job on our Jacuzzi, which had a lot of hard water buildup and white residue. When he was finished, it looked brand new again. He also installed new lighting for us and repaired a couple of tiles on the back of the pool. Everything turned out great, and we really appreciated his attention to detail and the quality of his work. We will definitely be using Allen again and would absolutely recommend Taylor Made Pools to anyone needing pool or Jacuzzi work!

His crew is the most hardworking team of nice, clean, punctual professionals I have seen. They are real perfectionists. They had the work done in two days and everything looked beautiful! Heartland is a reasonably priced, very professional business. Their professional ethics and…read morepersonal interaction are outstanding. We had committed to having our pool resurfaced, just prior to our limited rainy season. By the time work was started, the rain was upon us. Mike, the owner, kept us informed of delays, and updated us on the estimated start and completion dates during the various stages. We continued to receive progress reports during the entire project. Perhaps one of the things that I most admired about Mike is that he stood by his work. During the removal of the old surfaces, a couple of PVC parts from the attached jacuzzi were broken. Mike accepted responsibility for the damage, and promised to repair/replace them. The pool was built in the '70s, and some items are no longer available. Mike unsuccessfully continued to search for the replacements, even out of state. Finally, he located someone locally who would fabricate the parts. I consider his commitment to his customers as exceptional. I recommend his services, without hesitation. Thank you, Mike.

What really stood out was his ability to think beyond the obvious--he brought up several ideas and design elements that I hadn't even considered, which added a lot of value to the consultation. I've met with several pool companies, and Richard is by far the most knowledgeable and thoughtful professional I've encountered. He clearly has deep expertise and takes pride in doing things the right way. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a pool project. I looked at Dream Pools and a couple of other bigger pool companies in town. The prices were pretty…read morecomparable for what we were after (a relatively standard pool with a hot tub - nothing massively fancy), and Dream Pools was a hair more expensive - maybe $1,000 or so. However, the other company's main pitch was "we're the biggest pool company in town so that's why you should choose us - how do you know if the other guys will still be in business in 10 years?" First, Walmart is the biggest retailer, but that doesn't mean that it's the best. Second, Toys R Us could have said the same thing 10 years ago, and look where they are now. Third, I don't recall that the other guys offered a 10 year warranty anyway, so what does it matter. Dream Pools, on the other hand gave me a feeling that they'd offer a more personal service, which when you are spending a lot of money on a major project offers quite a bit of peace of mind. In addition, they committed to it being finished in six weeks, which when you have three kids on summer vacation and you don't start until early June, is a big benefit. Throughout the process, Carlos and Sylvia (the company owners) came out 2-3 times each week to check in on things. He offered helpful suggestions, and also worked with us on things that we wanted. His crew was polite, efficient and tidy. Because we wanted to do a few other things as well (new fence, paving around the pool, new sod), I simply went through Carlos to get these done. Any savings that I could have made by finding my own contractors (and these guys were still surprisingly affordable) was offset by not having to deal with them individually to schedule things - Carlos did all that for us. The work was of the highest craftsmanship and quality. The team broke ground on June 7 and I was in the pool on July 17. The pool and the entire garden looks beyond what I could have hoped for. I can't recommend Dream Pools highly enough.

We gravitated towards Carlos and Sylvia, most in part due to their warm and kind demeanor. Immediately, I was quick to notice their eagerness to listen; to our ideas, concerns, hesitancies, and in turn were clear and concise in answering everything with confidence and honesty. From our first meeting, we knew we could trust that we were in good and experienced hands. Dreams Pools and Landscapes were cooperative and transparent throughout our pool building process. They were able to take our ideas and present a number of potential models which hovered around our budget. They were so proactive in making sure the project was on schedule and on budget, making regular visits and being extremely accessible if we had any questions or concerns. They were easy to work with, from making sure our pool gained HOA approval, to presenting different add-ons, to working with our landscaper to make sure our backyard projects were symbiotic to one another, it was an immense pleasure which I wish upon any potential pool buyer. They worked hard making sure we didn't have any burdens along the way. Carlos and Sylvia's team were amazing and though the process has since reached completion, we still have a line of communication with should we have any questions. The process, start to finish, couldn't have been any more easier. I would rehire them in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and contact them when planning your future dream pool.

We initially interviewed several companies when it was time to refinish our pool and ultimately settled on Sol Pacific due to the fact that they were PebbleTec certified and said they could install the PebbleBreeze finish we wanted (which no other companies had installed before). Everything seemed great at first. He was very responsive through text and the job progressed quickly. I told him from the start that I was willing to upgrade the finish because I DID NOT want bloody feet from the pebbles. He assured me that wouldn't happen. During the job, I noticed that parts of the pool seemed streaky and the finish seemed uneven. He assured me it would look great once water was in the pool. He finished the job on time (end of June 2024) and we had our first pool party. ALL the kids had bloody feet. I emailed him about the bloody feet and the streaky finish and he offered to drain the pool, grind it down to smooth it out more, and pay for the refill of our pool. For these reasons, I gave him two stars. He attempted to fix his mistakes. Everything after this point is zero stars. Long story short over the last two years, I have been trying to make them follow up on their promises but they aren't. I have never been reimbursed for my second pool refill, like he promised. I provided him with multiple water bills, but he told me it was too much money. I'm with Padre Dam. It's expensive. His communication is awful, usually taking several weeks or months to respond and only doing so if I get a bit pushy with him. After ignoring multiple messages from me about the flagstone grout being loose just a couple months after the install, he reached out to ask if a potential client could view my pool. I only agreed to the viewing to get him over here so we could discuss the coping and streak issues. While he was here, he agreed with all my concerns. He eventually (3.5 months and several ignored texts later) sent a crew to fix the coping. They worked hard, but left my yard a mess and their work was mediocre. There are several raised edges, gaps, and thick grout lines. My drip lines are damaged and a very full and extremely heavy trash can full of construction debris still sits on my pool deck! They broke some of my pool tile and tried to stick flagstone in its place, thinking I wouldn't notice. Eventually, due to my complaints, they did find some replacement pool tile to fix the damaged area. I repeatedly asked Kyle to meet me at my residence to discuss my concerns, but instead he came on my property without telling me while I wasn't home to look at it by himself and then told me it all looked fine. The lack of professionalism is unreal and my pool just looks OKAY considering how much money was spent!!! Do not recommend.
