We were told about Community Cup and finally decided we needed to locate it since Cumming will soon be our new home. And I love to support the local businesses especially when it comes to coffee. The chains are over rated and over priced, not to mention the hospitality at the mom & pop shops is so warm & friendly. We experienced that with Michelle who was working the day we visited. First off it can be just a tad challenging to get in and out of the parking lot due to the heavy used road at busy times of the day. The parking lot isn't a large one. But definitely worth the effort!! Inside there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee especially in the back room with tables and comfy chairs. As you enter, there are high bar tables & chairs. Have to play with a friend, hubby or significant other while sipping your drink. Wi-fi if you need it. Cute merch to purchase. Lots of coffee options, pastries, food specialty drinks. We opted for the Tiramasu Mocha. Oh my goodness in a cup...dark chocolate, smooth tasting and really not too sweet. My hubby & I shared due to the fact that's what we do!! The entire shop just invites you to sit a spell and enjoy your coffee. Very inviting!! The name is perfect, it screams community. Definitely will become a coffee shop to enjoy.

First time checking this spot out. Super cute location near cumming city center / downtown cumming. 2 entrances with plenty of parking in front and back. Free Wi-Fi and they sell odds and ends as well supporting small local artisans and businesses. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I had an iced almond milk lavender and sugar free vanilla latte. It tasted amazing! They have multiple syrup choices and have at least 5 sugar free options as well! They also have a great selection of non dairy mills as well. They have some bagels and pastries to eat. A portion of their proceeds every month goes to cure childhood cancer. Great experience!!

Service was great! Friendly staff and great environment to study and chill with friends! Another note this is not budget friendly 11 dollars for this size is insane!!! Don't know if I'll be coming back here!!

I love a weekend coffee shop while doing some household book keeping and enjoy exploring local spots in the city and up north. Today I ventured up to Cumming to try Community Cup, a nice 35 min drive. I'm used to spending ~$18 for a large coffee + muffin in the city, along with the general hipster-annoyance of a judgmental barista. So, I experienced pleasant shock at the sincerely sweet & courteous service of the staff at Community Cup, so genuinely friendly! My cappuccino was enormous (bowl w handle) and delicious with a super creamy top. But the muffin, my God the blueberry muffin! Warned up, this thing was awesome! Super soft texture but maintains integrity so as not to crumble apart, easy to eat by hand or w a fork. ~$12 (including tip). I absolutely love this coffee shop, Community Cup you ROCK. Keep up the great work, can't wait to come back!

So first off, no pictures of coffee. I had mine to go so a to go cup doesn't do this place justice. I tried to different flavors. The lavender vanilla and sugar free caramel. The flavors were great and not too sweet which is always a plus. The coffee was very smooth and not harsh even though I added an extra shot. The place itself has two entrances so if it looks small, keep going through to the other side for more seating. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for coffee lovers

Coffee, you're on the bench. Alcohol suit up! Community Cup is a fun spot. Good coffee, creative drinks, nitro options. Beer and wine are available when your POF coffee date turns into lunch. The shop is well lit, white and bright, and seating is more functional than comfy. You can choose to saddle up to the bar which is cool. Service at the counter runs from good to great, depending on the day and who is working. Prices are fair for the product. Easy to be a fan of this place.

The full fish filet ends up being quite large, with the other food and sides would definitely be enough to sate two. We ordered the General's Platter for two which was a full fish filet, four jumbo shrimp/prawns, six hush puppies (definitely not English), and a choice of more commonwealth style Chips or American fries. Food was overall excellent, freshly made, with authentic batter and a pretty good tartare sauce. Also with classic lemon and malt vinegar to complete the look. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating; order at the counter and they will bring to you at the table, seat yourself. Also a bar for some draughts and drinks but it was lunchtime and nobody was partaking. Store is dressed up head to toe heaps of Brit ephemera and otherwise but is super casual! Sitting and eating next to Mr. Bean was fun. Parking available on the street but probably recommended to park in the structure behind. Only problem is the store was playing American music and not the Brit classics!

Tonight, at my friend's birthday, we tried to sit at a high-top right beside the party. Macala immediately told us no--without a real explanation--and moved us to a low table. Fifteen minutes later, the rest of the birthday group walked in and were allowed to sit in that exact high-top. No problem. On top of that, no one came to take our drink order. We waited, went to the bar ourselves, and then nearly 20 minutes later she came over insisting she had been to us twice (once to move us and once to drop menus). I truly try not to jump straight to assuming bias, but when this type of situation happens more than once and only seems to apply to certain people, it's hard not to feel singled out. I love the live music here, but the seating inconsistency and lack of service made us feel like we didn't belong, and that's incredibly disappointing.

We started with the buffalo chicken dip and I don't have a photo because we were starving and could not stop after the first bite! It was so delicious! For our main dishes, my husband got a burger and I got the chicken salad sliders which are actually under the apps list but were the perfect portion for me, especially after all the dip and pita! They also offer a special brunch menu on Sundays as well. Service was excellent from start to finish!

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

They do not brew their own beer (aka no beer flights) so not sure why they are called a brewery. This felt more like a restaurant. There were tons of seats, and it was very nice! The outdoor seating is downstairs (no elevator). The drink menu needs descriptions, not just names. The drinks we did have were great (strong & not overpriced). The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!…read more The food quality is extremely concerning. I personally saw steaks with green and yellow discoloration still being kept in the kitchen. That alone should make anyone question the standards. The food also rarely comes out the way it's advertised on the menu -- what you're promised and what you actually get are two very different things. Cleanliness is a serious issue. The bar is not properly maintained, glasses are never polished, and there has been mold in the ice. That is completely unacceptable in any restaurant, especially one serving alcohol and charging full price. The work environment is just as bad. Staff are constantly yelling at each other, and management often yells at employees in front of others. It creates a chaotic, uncomfortable atmosphere that customers can absolutely feel. There is a serious lack of professionalism, sanitation, and quality control here. Until major changes are made, I would strongly suggest dining somewhere else.
