Wow! I really feel like I have to share my experience because I've been dealing with long covid for over a year and a half now. Had trouble walking around, breathing and talking, overall body pain, fatigue, headaches....all sorts of things I've never experienced before getting sick with this thing. I've been put on different kind of medications, tried some physical therapy exercises, breathing exercises, changes in my diet, practice more mindfulness... even a speech pathologist at some point to try and cope with that talking and breathing at the same time issue. Anyway, last Monday I walked into Dr Hallum's office in a hot mess. Couldn't move around or even talk to provide my information at check in as a first time patient. I'm still mind blown with the improvement that I got from just that one session: I was able to take the deepest deep breath I've taken since getting sick on December 2020, I could stand with my back straight... and walk at a normal pace. I've been going to Dr. Cliff for almost a year. I left my previous Chiropractor to get treated by Dr. Cliff. He conducts a full adjustment which is exactly what I always need. Please be advised that it's not a traditional office, there is no privacy. The treatments are in the open which took me a while to get used to but now I do not mind. Dr. Cliff wants to see all of his patients to make sure that his staff is treating them properly. His staff are young students but they are well trained and friendly. After going for a while it becomes a family environment. The office uses the latest technology. Kaiser insurance does not make you get preapproved for additional visits like in other chiropractor offices. I am very happy with the treatment and service. I highly recommend this office. read more

TLDR: I've been to many chiros over the years, and Dr. Hallam's adjustments are better than anyone I've ever gone to. I don't know how he does it. Longer version: my husband hurt his back working out and went to 2 other chiros who branded themselves as "gentle" but really did not one thing to actually make his back feel better. Dr Hallam (who would never advertise as gentle) was the only one who actually cured his low back and sciatic pain. So when I took a fall a few weeks later and hurt my back and shoulder, I went to see him. It was the scariest-sounding adjustment I'd ever had (so many pops!), but I walked out feeling better than I had even before the fall. My range of motion, pain level etc. blew me away. A couple of weeks into treatment I added an acupuncture session with Priscilla, the acupuncturist there, and it really speeded up my healing (and I got the best nights sleep of my life). read more

I feel better and have been able to recover faster. Dr. Cliff is an expert at diagnosing problems that physicians might miss. In five minutes, he was able to tell me what was wrong, right down to the where the problem was located, how the joint as out of place and what it was going to take to get it fixed. This had been missed by multiple physicians. I'm not knocking them, as they look at the symptoms through a different lens. He's honest - he told me that he couldn't treat my injury, that I'd need to see a surgeon. It took me three months to work my way through my HMO's referrals process to get Dr. Cliff's diagnosis confirmed by an MRI and get to the surgeon. He's welcoming - Dr. Cliff's is office is staffed with friendly, and caring people. Not only will you feel better physically, you'll likely leave with a smile. He's effective - even though he couldn't help me with that injury, he's been tremendously helpful treating most of the other aches, pains and injuries that I've accumulated in an active life. He can help you recover - if you've been in a car wreck, Dr. Cliff and his staff are thorough, I've seen them help people through the whole process, healing their bodies, navigating the insurance claims process, and getting their cars fixed. His office doesn't just provide chiropractic care - there are two acupuncturists and a massage therapist in the same office. I was involved in a rear-end collision back in January. The collision resulted whiplash, lower back injury, and some other pain. A good friend of mine, Aaron, recommended me to stop by his work at Commonwealth Chiropractic to get my body checked for any misalignment and injury. I decided to visit Dr. Clifford two days after I was hit. Doc was quick to point out my back was in fact misaligned when I stepped in the door. He knew I needed treatment right away, or my body will never fix itself and I will feel pain in the future. As a gym rat, I was horrified to learn that my body was broken and needed treatment to get better. Doc put me on a 12-week treatment, 3 times a week. I already felt the difference after my very first session. I was able to move better and some weird pain had went away. Doc also introduced me to Priscilla for acupuncture and cupping. Let me start off by saying, my neck is in horrible condition. An MRI mentions the word 'severe' pinched nerve in more than one place. My neck is so bad, that for 2 weeks, I was unable to raise my right arm without assistance, and followed by tears. I used to be rather skeptical of chiropractors as I've never had a good experience, but since being referred to Doc Hallum, that perspective has completely changed. He is an absolutely amazing doctor who not only knows his stuff but teaches and explains it to you as well. After a pretty serious car accident that resulted in my car being totaled, he has been a great help on my road to recovery. My severe neck, back, and shoulder pains have pretty much gone away due to the treatments I have been given. The constant icing, cold lasers, rapid release therapy, acupuncture, and adjustments really do work. Him and his staff really care and excel at their jobs.
